of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of August 5th 2016
and 1 – Akbal "awk-bol" or Night in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, with Venus entering Virgo, and Saturn turning direct.
August 5th is 1
– Akbal "awk-bol" or Night carries
the themes of dreams, transitions from light to
dark and dark to light, starry skies, subconscious thoughts, the void where
nothing exists but there is all potential, the womb of creation, sanctuary, the
underworld, stillness, introspection, dawn and dusk. The glyph for night is the
owl, a creature of both the day and night. The 1 Night trecena is a great time
to explore the dark parts in our lives and to realize that without darkness we
cannot see the stars.
Before I get into the daily energy for 1 – Akbal "awk-bol", on the 5th all the
planets appear to be moving forward from our vantage point on Earth, except Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto which appears to move retrograde or in reverse
motion. Remember the themes of retrograde planets are the review the past,
re-evaluate, reminisce and we can see these themes being played out. Retrograde Saturn in Sagittarius delays success until perseverance and
patience are learned. Sagittarius themes are travel, education, adventure,
expanding our horizons, and planning for upcoming experiences. Saturn brings
the details to the grand overview of Sagittarius.
Saturn retrograde is a task master that demands we take responsibility to
review our beliefs while in Sagittarius. Chiron
retrograde has
us reviewing our wounds so that they can be released, by having the courage to
open our hearts to any fear or pain associated with our past. If you find
yourself recalling painful events or situations between now and when Chiron
turns direct November 30th, it is advisable remain conscious while dealing with
these uncomfortable feelings as they will reveal the path to healing and
letting go of what no longer serves a purpose in our upcoming journey. Uranus
in Aries retrograde, is seeking to shake our very foundation through the
unexpected rebellion of the individual. Uranus in Aries will have people
wanting to hurry the process of getting free. To push the river of revolution
whether it be personal or political. Uranus in astrology forces us outside our
comfort zone so we have to look for possibilities "outside the box."
This is about unplanned experiences that disrupt our perceived and planned life
path in order to move us forward in our spiritual evolution, individually and
globally.
Neptune retrograde is seeking transcendence through spiritual experiences.
This will be a time to use spiritual practices to keep us grounded as we expand
our intuition and consciousness. Both Neptune and Pisces, the sign it rules,
tend to be dreamy, imaginative, difficult to nail down due to their qualities
of illusion and illumination often without any way to know which is which. They
represent compassion and co-dependence, selflessness and loss of self, higher
purpose and substance abuse, in their inspiration to transcend the material
plane and experience something beyond words and thoughts. Pluto the planet of transformation through a
death and rebirth cycle, is retrograde, which is about reviewing the past, and
is a time of releasing anything from the past that is a burden to our new path.
Pluto represents death, completion, and in Capricorn, the breakdown of
structures, to bring about transformation.
The big change during the Night trecena is Saturn turns direct
on the 13th, which can show us a new path and make us aware that we have a
responsibility to work on making something better through being conscious of
our beliefs, explorations,
and freedom seeking behavior. The Lord of Karma slowly has us implementing the
lessons of the past four months.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena.
August 5th is 1
– Akbal
"awk-bol" or Night: unity experienced through contemplating the stars in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, while Venus
enters Virgo, in the sign of its fall, for a
little over three weeks, which brings a level of
caution to romance and socializing. This will be a time when people want to
feel special in the eyes of their partners. For some reason this placement of
Venus tends to promote scandal. This can also bring a love for the world at
large rather than just one person. Also on the 5th the Virgo Moon is opposed by Neptune, supported by Pluto,
and merges with Jupiter. The days emotional stimulation shifts from feeling sensitive emotionally but confused regarding the
accuracy of what's being felt, to later Pluto
bringing out intense emotions and stimulating sensitivity, which also favors
sexual relationships, and finally good
feelings and generosity towards others.
The 6th is 2 – Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard: duality experienced through planting seeds and making new connections, while Mercury squares Saturn which favors heavy
mental contemplating that requires disciplined thinking, a sharper mind and
higher standard for quality. But it also brings difficulty in communicating and
being understood by others. Not the best time for any type of negotiations, with
folks misinterpreting each other, so I'd delay business dealings for a day or
two. This is also a time when people are more likely to withdraw and feel
lonely. Pessimistic and doubtful thoughts may be prevalent. Just be aware that
people may be critical and not see things in the best light under this
influence. The gift of this passage is it increases our ability to think
practically, but we also see the imperfections and flaws. Overall the 6th will bring us new understandings and
conscious awareness.
Also on the 6th Venus squares Mars which tends to arouse interest in the opposite sex that is
physical and perhaps sexual in nature, but this energy can also lead to discord
if there are hidden tensions in a relationship. Healthy relationships should
not have difficulties during this transit, whose function is to test the
pairing. It's basically about on one side engaging in what's pleasurable for
you and your partner and on the other side where are the tensions that lead to
disputes that comes from unexpressed sexuality. The amount of love energy will
determine which way the dice will fall. This creates difficulty for couples
trying to keep interactions nice and easy, while not expressing the drives that
Mars is known for. Relationships begun under this transit tend to be based only
on physical attraction.
Also on the 6th the Libra Moon is stimulated by Mars which brings the desire to work
independently from others.
August
7th is 3 – Chicchan "chee-chan" or Serpent: taking action through
being flexible, while Mercury is opposed by Neptune bringing
a day of confusion, with a great deal of information coming into our minds that
we can't make any sense of. We feel a heightened sensitivity with little
ability to filter to gain clarity. Not a day to make any kind of permanent
commitment based on the experiences of the day. Over the next few days we'll
gain clarity about this download of new spiritual awareness. Folks may feel
confused, anxious, and have a lower tolerance for stress on the 7th. Also on the 7th the Moon in Libra harmonizes with Saturn and the Sun, and is
challenged by Pluto which moves from wanting to be
alone in our thoughts and feelings, to later having
the compulsion to act in ways that may not be good for us in the long run,
and finally feelings of inner and outer equanimity.
The 8th
is 4 –Cimi "key-mee" or Transformation: stability
through releasing what no longer serves us, with the Libra Moon opposed by Uranus could make folks emotionally
excitable and impulsive.
August 9th is 5 –man-eek"
: empowerment through being of service to others, while
the Scorpio Moon in harmony with Venus and finds
support from Neptune, which changes from wanting to be with friends and the
people we love, to later fantasies and daydreams distracting us from
accomplishing routine tasks.
The 10th
is 6 – Lamat
"la-maught" or Star or Rabbit: being in the flow
through being grateful for abundant
relationships,
with Mercury trine Pluto which can bring concern about the deeper issues in life.
This has people wanting to dig below the surface to uncover mysteries. On a
personal level this can be excellent for inner work, so it might be a good day
for some "alone time" to discover some of the deeper dimensions of
your psyche. Communications may seem rather serious and profound. Thoughts will
be more focused and gain insights about important developments. Also on the 10th the first quarter Moon in Scorpio harmonizes with Mercury
and Pluto, and is challenged by the Sun, which shifts from people
feeling chatty and having numerous conversations,
to later experiencing deep emotions on a profound
level, and finally we encounter challenges to
our daily routines.
August 11th is 7 Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering: reflection
through appreciating creation, with the
Moon in harmony with Jupiter and merging with Mars which moves from feeling in the flow and having a sense of wholeness,
to later people experiencing irritable moods and
critical communications.
The
12th is 8 – Oc "awk" or Dog:
balance through enjoying family and friends, with Jupiter in
Virgo opposes Chiron in Pisces brings tension between expansion and healing.
This transit pushes us beyond our boundaries to find healing on every level. We
have been experiencing this transit off and on since November of last year, and
is in orb for the entire report period. Let this energy take you where you need
to go and find healing through surrender. Also on the 12th the Sagittarius Moon is challenged by Venus and Neptune, and
merges with Saturn which changes from pleasant energy
for being with the others we want to know better, to later wanting to be alone in our thoughts and feelings,
and finally daydreams and fantasies feeling more
important than reality.
August 13th is 9 – Chuen "shoe-in"
or Monkey: patience experienced through creating something new, while Saturn
turns direct which will take a while to pick up speed but this begins a
time period where we can implement a course correction regarding an obstacle
that has been in our path over the last few months. Saturn’s forward movement can
show us a new path and make us aware that we have a responsibility to work on
making something better through being conscious of our beliefs, explorations, and
freedom seeking behavior. Saturn's stationing at 9 degrees 46 minutes
Sagittarius, has been intense for folks with planets around 10 degrees of the
mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Even though the
pressure will dissipate slowly, it will be an improvement to get some relief.
Also on the 13th Venus squares Saturn which can be a
day of having difficulty relating to others, feeling cool, reserved,
isolated... Many will be reevaluating what they are getting out of their
relationships as compared to what they are putting in, whether it’s a social
friendship or intimate partnership. An event could restrict a social plan, or
an issues arises that needs addressing. This may take time before we see big
picture from the delays and obstacles we encounter. If you feel loneliness or
depression on the 13th, just realize that this too shall pass. Also on the 13th the Moon in Sagittarius is challenged by Mercury and
Jupiter, and supported by the Sun and Uranus, which shifts from folks being critical in their communications particularly
with the people they have intimate relationships with, to later feeling a sense of inner harmony which is mirrored in the
outside world, followed by having the impulse
to engage in activities that make us feel more alive, and finally benevolent and generous feelings for those in our immediate
environment.
The 14th is 10 – Eb
"eb" or Road: manifestation through serving your community, with Venus opposes Neptune. Venus in tension with Neptune can be unrealistic with regards to love which
can lead to disappointment. Folks are more likely to picture themselves as the
unselfish and giving person in the relationship who makes all the sacrifices
for their partner's betterment. This can bring out manipulative behavior to
gain control over the other using guilt and obligation. On a higher level,
these are planet octaves so we might find tension between our personal love and
our experience of unconditional universal love. This also brings the danger of
being deceived in relationship. This is not a good transit to begin a
relationship as access to the reality of relationships is distorted and will
take time before viewing the relationship as on solid ground. It can also
produce wonderful romantic experiences but don't expect them to last forever. Also on the 14th the Capricorn Moon harmonizes with Neptune and finds support
from Venus which changes from having greater
sensitivity to others' emotions with possible psychic impressions for those who
are open, to later enjoying pleasant feelings
and social interactions.
August 15th is 11 –Ben
"ben" or Reed
or Corn: resolution through maintaining the home, while the Moon in Capricorn merges
with Pluto, is supported by Mercury and Jupiter, and challenged by Uranus,
which moves from having more intense moods rising to
the surface from deep in our psyches, to later feeling
in touch with our emotions and expressing them to others, followed by people are likely to act hasty and jump to conclusions,
and finally people having a pleasant sense of well-being.
The 16th is 12
– Ix "eesh" or Jaguar: understanding through enjoying nature, with the Sun trine Uranus which colors the
day's energy to engage in new and different activities that lead to self
discovery and a greater understanding of the world. This is more exciting
energy than we have most days. People will be more perceptive and able make
changes with a greater understanding of the interrelationships within their
lives. Expect folks to be more forthright in expressing themselves without
trying to filter what is expressed for the benefit of the listener. This day is
good for studying science, something technical, or occult subjects such as
astrology, because it brings the ability to find greater understanding of any
discipline that reveals new and exciting aspects of the universe. On the other
hand this will be a difficult day for just following the daily routine, so get
out there and do something you've always wanted to. It's a great day to cross
something off your "bucket list" and you'll probably gain some new
self awareness in the process. Also on the 16th the
Aquarius Moon stimulated by Mars brings the desire to
work independently from others.
August 17th
is 13 –
Men "men" or Eagle: movement to the next stage through seeing from a higher perspective, with Venus trines Pluto which is a day when we might hear from or contemplate
contacting a former lover. With Pluto involved this intensifies our emotional
expression, as emotions come to the surface that can now be meaningfully
expressed to your loved ones. This alignment deepens our emotions and can make
relationships intense. It's quite likely people will feel love more strongly
under this transit and express those feelings to the object of their affection.
Sexual desires also increase under the Venus Pluto connection. This is not an
intellectual experience, but rather love expressed through mind, body, and
emotions. This transit can produce profound insights that reveal the inner
workings of our relationships. Beginning a relationship during this transit
indicates that the connection will feel quite intense as if being drawn
together by some magical power. This can be a good relationship as long as the
couple recognizes that the compulsive quality will wear off before the pairing
solidifies into a long term relationship. This transit is great for artistic
work because the emotional intensity characteristic can be harnessed in work
that reveals the inner depth of the artist's soul. Also on the 17th the Moon in Aquarius harmonizing
with Saturn brings realistic expectations through being calm and reflective.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Night trecena, take some time to be in the
flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a sunrise or sunset, communing
with the stars, being conscious of the moment through introspection, meditation
or being with someone you love. Every day is a blessing no matter what dramas
