Astrology and Mayan Tzolkin November 21 to December 3rd 2013

This is the "Care and feeding of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of November 21st 2013 for 1 - Men "men" or Eagle in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, also the Sun moving into Sagittarius, the Heliocentric Uranus Pluto square and Sagittarius New Moon.
November 21st 2013 is 1 - Men "men" or Eagle which carries the themes of higher perspective, keen vision, free spirit, messenger of faith and knowledge, patience, wings of the spirit, value, manifestation of fertility, knowing the details, dualities of the Sun and Moon, the budding youth and the wise elder, male and female, the soaring eagle and the fallen eagle, the messenger between heaven and earth. It also represents luck, hope, liberty, trust, good fortune and good relationships. Eagles have the quality of being able to observe movements from a great distance. The 1 Eagle thirteen day period could be used to gain greater perspectives about the events in our lives through creating some distance between the observer and the observed.
Before I get into the daily energy for 1 - Men "men" or Eagle trecena, on November 21st 2013 all the planets appear to move forward from our vantage point on Earth except Jupiter and Uranus, which appear to move retrograde or in reverse motion. I've discussed in depth the implications of the other planets moving retrograde in the past reports, so I'll just keynote each one. Jupiter was the king of the gods, and the planet is about good fortune, opportunities, faith, religion, beliefs and expansion. Cancer is about family, home, nurturing, and protection. Mostly what I find with Jupiter retrograde, as with any retrograde cycle there is a review of the past, and with Jupiter what gets reviewed are missed opportunities. In Cancer these are likely to be related to home and family. Retrograde Uranus in Aries is seeking to shake our very foundation to shock us to awaken and forces us to embrace our new way of living through reversals and unexpected events.
The big change for the 1 - Men "men" or Eagle trecena is the only Heliocentric Uranus Pluto square of our lifetime, occurring on the 23rd. Men "men" or Eagle is about seeing from a higher perspective and heliocentric means that from the perspective of the Sun, Pluto and Uranus are at an exact 90 degree alignment. So the interpretation of the chart is quite different in that we do not consider the Moon or the Sun, but instead the Earth is just one of the Planets of the solar system. This alignment is not exclusively about our little planet, but about our solar system as a whole. Many of us are aware that we are in the middle of a solar maximum in the Sun's eleven year cycle, which results in the flipping of the solar poles, where the North becomes South and the South becomes North. I believe the actual inversion of the poles is likely to occur on or around November 23rd. This will bring a significant shift, not only on the Earth but throughout our solar system and with implications within our Galaxy. So our consideration of this experience is as a part of the solar system and not as "center of the universe".  Before going into the specifics of the chart I want to note that the positions of some of the planets are quite different from the perspective of the Sun than from the perspective of the Earth. At the exact time of the Heliocentric square, Mercury is at 13 degrees Virgo, Venus is at 1 degree Taurus, the Earth is at 1 degree Gemini, Mars is 15 Leo, Jupiter 11 Cancer, Saturn 14 Scorpio, Uranus 11 Aries, Neptune 4 Pisces, and Pluto is at 11 Capricorn.  Not only are Uranus and Pluto forming a square, but Jupiter is opposing Pluto and squaring Uranus, which is a t-square with the "Winds of Change" receiving the focus. In Aries, we are talking about very aggressive changes in our solar system, which may respond in bringing balance back to the Earth before we commit ecocide. We also have Saturn challenging Mars, which furthers this theme that our Sun will restructure the reality of its domain. Our planet has never been more out of balance with pollution, radiation, the death of wildlife in the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico... Humans have been very poor stewards of our mother earth, and frankly we don't deserve the privilege. We need to restore balance or it will be restored in spite of us and perhaps without us. Here in the United States there are people in power who believe we are headed for Armageddon, and are making great efforts to manifest the apocalypse as described by Revelations in the Christian Bible. These mad men and a few mad women, need to be stopped, before they achieve their goal. This Heliocentric square is the wake up call, so don't push "snooze". On the positive side we have a grand trine between Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio, and Chiron in Pisces, which supports healing and nurturing throughout our solar system. Venus in Taurus is at a 60 degree sextile to Neptune, which emphasizes the feminine spiritual energy awakening on Earth as well as the other planets. Neptune is the only planet making an angle to the Earth in the Heliocentric square chart, which underscores the importance of mysticism and spirit in the transformation of our home here with Gaia. The sextile between Mercury and Saturn will bring exposure to the Global Elite's practices of hording ancient wisdom, while publically condemning practices such as astrology, the Mayan calendar, numerology, traditional healing techniques, and other occult systems. You know the stuff we cover in these reports.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena. November 21st 2013 is 1 - Men "men" or Eagle: unity experienced through seeing from a higher perspective, as the Sun enters Sagittarius which illuminates travel, education, expanding our horizons, and planning for upcoming festivities. This begins a month with more of a focus on discovering new ideas, philosophy, being at the right place at the right time and overall a quality of optimism, with the Cancer Moon challenged by Uranus, opposed by Pluto and Venus, supported by Mercury and Saturn, and merging with Jupiter. The day's emotional energy begins with people likely to act hasty and jump to conclusions with Pluto bringing deep emotions rising to the surface, and folks feeling in touch with their emotions and expressing them to others, then shifts to pleasant energy for enjoying sensual experiences and rich food with a caution against overindulgence, later having a sober realistic view of life, and finally having good feelings and expressing generosity towards others. The 22nd is 2 - Cib "keeb" or Wisdom: duality experienced through introspection, meditation and forgiveness, while the Moon is stimulated by Mars, and finds support from the Sun which goes from having the desire to work independently from others, to later feeling balance between our inner and outer worlds. November 23rd is 3 - Caban "kah-ban" or Earth: taking action through gratitude for Mother Earth, with Venus sextile Saturn which is good for creativity where there is a need for close attention to detail. Also a time where folks seek counsel from an older individual. This is practical energy for most business affairs and commerce with art work and other things of beauty. With Saturn harmonizing with Venus we feel the obligations in our relationships. There is a sense of duty of being of service to our loved ones which is seen in a positive light. This is a time when we are most likely to put the group standards ahead of our own ideals. We also have the Heliocentric Uranus Pluto square. This means that from the perspective of the Sun, Pluto and Uranus are at an exact 90 degree alignment. This alignment is not exclusively about our little planet, but about our solar system as a whole. This will bring a significant shift, not only on the Earth but throughout our solar system and with implications within our Galaxy. Uranus in Aries, we are talking about very aggressive changes in our solar system, which may respond in bringing balance back to the Earth before we commit ecocide. I think it's very interesting that this alignment occurs on the Mayan Tzolkin day 3 Caban "kah-ban" or Earth. This Heliocentric square is the wake up call, which underscores the importance of mysticism and spirit in the transformation of our home here with Gaia. We also have the Leo Moon being supported by Uranus and challenged by Mercury, which shifts from having the impulse to engage in activities that make us feel more alive, to later our moods influencing our ability to think rationally. The 24th is 4 - Etznab "etz-nob" or Flint: stability through being introspective, with the Sun square Neptune, which brings a low energy day which seems to take more energy to complete the normal daily tasks. If possible this would be a day to have a lighter schedule and more time for rest. Some will feel a little beaten down by this transit, so this is not a good day for work that requires courage or great self confidence. Don't get discouraged, this energy only lasts a day. The Sun is challenged by Neptune obscuring clarity and focus, and can feel like a low energy day, but also illuminates our creativity. The 24th the Moon in Leo is challenged by Saturn at 4 am EST then turns void of course until 7 am on the 25th. Saturn influences the Moon with people feeling lonely or isolated, then the void of course Moon does not favor major decisions or purchases, but is good to use for resting to assimilate this latest round of energy and experiences. November 25th is 5 - Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm: empowerment through recognizing the gifts in adversity, while Mercury merges with Saturn which is the third Mercury alignment that is repeated three times due to its retrograde cycle. Mercury conjunct Saturn makes folks cautious. On the positive side we are more precise in our thinking, and detail oriented in our communication. If you previously outlined a general plan, this allows you to fill in the details. Critical thinking is very sharp and can see flaws in any argument including our own. This transit can be an obstacle for seeing the big picture. We can see the distinction of the different trees but not the forest. At worst this can create difficulty in communication, because we may be afraid to reveal something, so we say nothing due to negative thinking that often accompanies this transit. This is the time to speak up because what is not expressed can injure someone. Overall this requires discipline, and commitment to our ethics and values, as the last quarter Moon in Virgo is opposed by Neptune, and challenged by the Sun which brings feeling sensitive emotionally but confused regarding the accuracy of what's being felt and challenges to following a daily routine. The 26th is 6 - Ahau "ah-how" or Sun: being in the flow through honoring the wisdom and memory of our ancestors, while the Virgo Moon finds support from Pluto and Venus, and harmonizes with Saturn, Mercury, and Jupiter. The day's emotional energy moves from intense emotions stimulating sensitivity, which also favors sexual relationships, to realistic expectations through being calm and reflective, then increased conversations and overall chattiness, later enjoying social interactions with others, and finally feeling in the flow and having a sense of wholeness. November 27th is 7 - Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile: reflection through nurturing new beginnings, with Mercury sextile Venus bringing a light hearted energy to the day. This is nice for using our minds for leisure, like reading for pleasure, going to an art show or concert, playing a game you enjoy, or just talking with friends. This is a day where we get a break from the heavier concerns of life. This is also excellent for communicating our feelings to the people we love. So tell someone you love them today. Express your appreciation and gratitude and I suspect it will come back to you in kind. Also an excellent day to appreciate beauty, so you may want to put yourself in a beautiful environment whether it's a home, museum, or a day in the country. Nice energy if you're celebrating Hannukah, US Thanksgiving, or the Comet ISON's closest approach to the Sun the following day. Also on the 27th the Moon in Virgo merges with Mars which brings experiencing irritable moods and critical communications at 6:45 am then turns void of course until it moves into Libra at 5 pm EST. While the moon is void of course it's best to avoid making major decisions or purchases. The 28th is 8 - Ik "eek" or Wind: balance through communication, as ISON will come to perihelion at 0.0124 AU from the center point of the Sun, which is very close when you consider that it was 0.07248 AU from Mars on October 1st. By comparison the closest ISON will come to the Earth will be 0.4292 AU on December 26th. We will pass through ISON's orbit and be left behind micron-sized dust particles on January 14 and 15 of next year, so we may experience new meteor showers at that time. Of course this is all speculation based on ISON surviving its close encounter with the Sun. The current thinking is that ISON should become about as bright as Venus  if it doesn't break up during perihelion, it will move north passing within two degrees of Polaris on January 8th. Also on the 28th Mercury trine Jupiter is great energy for making plans for the future from an overview perspective. This transit does influence us to take the easy way out and avoid difficult intellectual and mental problems. Mercury supported by Jupiter is good for business dealings and signing contracts, as we find our minds are sharper to see opportunities that normally are overlooked. This is optimistic and promotes positive thinking and studying subjects that deal with high level thought such as law, philosophy, religion. Venus opposes Jupiter on the 28th, which has Venus feeling tension from Jupiter creating expansion in our personal relationships and growth. It is also very strongly inclined towards excessive indulgence as it indicates a time of pleasure, satisfaction or joy with a tendency to overdo. Folks will feel a desire to buy expensive luxurious items perhaps without having the means to pay. Venus and Jupiter are about heavy, rich, sweet foods and overeating, not a great day for a diet. If we can approach this day with discipline it should be quite enjoyable, while the Libra Moon harmonizes with the Sun, is opposed by Uranus, and challenged by Pluto. The day moves from feelings of inner and outer equanimity, to later folks feeling emotionally excitable and impulsive, and finally having the compulsion to act in ways that may not be good for us in the long run. November 29th is 9 - Akbal "awk-bol" or Night: patience experienced through contemplating the stars, with the Moon in Libra challenged by Jupiter and Venus which brings benevolent and generous feelings for those in our immediate environment with pleasant energy for being with the others we want to know better until 6 am then and makes no angles and is void of course until moving into Scorpio at 11 pm EST, which does not favor major decisions or purchases, but is good to use for resting to assimilate this latest round of energy and experiences. The 30th is 10 - Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard: manifestation through planting seeds and making new connections, while the Sun trine Uranus colors the day's energy to engage in new and different activities that lead to self discovery and a greater understanding of the world. This is more exciting energy than we have most days. People will be more perceptive and able make changes with a greater understanding of the interrelationships within their lives. Expect folks to be more forthright in expressing themselves without trying to filter what is expressed for the benefit of the listener. This day is good for studying science, something technical, or occult subjects such as astrology, because it brings the ability to find greater understanding of any discipline that reveals new and exciting aspects of the universe. On the other hand this will be a difficult day for just following the daily routine, so get out there and do something you've always wanted to. It's a great day to cross something off your "bucket list" and you'll probably gain some new self awareness in the process, while we experience the Scorpio Moon supported by Neptune, and harmonizing with Pluto which moves from fantasies and daydreams distracting us from accomplishing routine tasks, to later having deep emotions finding their way to the surface and felt on a profound level. December 1st is 11 - Chicchan "chee-chan" or Serpent: resolution through being flexible, while we experience the Moon in Scorpio merging with Saturn and Mercury, supported by Jupiter, and in harmony with Venus and Mars. The day's emotional energy moves from wanting to be alone in our thoughts and feelings, to feelings of inner and outer equanimity, later wanting to be with friends and the people we love, and finally positive energy for integrating our thoughts and moods, with the desire to work independently from others. The 2nd is 12 - Cimi "key-mee" or Transformation: understanding to release what no longer serves us, while we experience the Sagittarius New Moon challenged by Neptune, supported by Uranus, and merging with the Sun. Sagittarius which illuminates travel, education, expanding our horizons, and planning for upcoming festivities. This bring more focus on discovering new ideas, philosophy, being at the right place at the right time and overall a quality of optimism. Neptune adds the quality of daydreams and fantasies feeling more important than reality, and Uranus brings a desire for emotional excitement to engage in activities outside our daily routine. New Moons bring the opportunity to set an intension for manifestation on the following full moon. Look to the house of your astrology chart that contains 11 degrees Sagittarius to consider what area of your life is being activated by this new moon. For me that would be my 6th house of service and health, so I would set an intension related to using this energy, such as finding new ways to serve others and improve my health through higher education, travel, and other activities that expand my point of view. Fiery Sagittarius brings in spiritual elements into the new moon, so there is a spiritual purpose aligned with the new opportunities that are opening up.
December 3rd is 13 - Manik "man-eek" or Deer: movement to the next stage through being of service to others, with Mercury sextile Mars which brings a busy day with folks having more energy than usual for their own projects. This is a day where working for someone else's benefit does not inspire diligence but more likely resentment. If you can use the day to work on what's of interest to you, it will seem like a good use of all this energy. Since others are feeling the same way, plan on working independently of others. There is energy for convincing others of your point of view, but they also have the energy to convince you of their perspective. This might be a day to avoid people and conversations that could lead to arguments, because this has a competitive edge to it. We can be confident in our ideas and beliefs to initiate something that should be successful as long as we don't need others to bring it to fruition, as the Moon in Sagittarius is challenged by Mars which may have people feeling irritable which could lead to needless disputes.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Eagle trecena, take some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a human experience.
