This is the "Care and feeding
of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of October 26th 2013 for 1 - Muluc "moo-luke" or
Offering in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, also the
Scorpio New Moon Solar Eclipse, Venus moving into Capricorn, Jupiter turning
retrograde, and the fourth Uranus Pluto square.
October 26th 2013 is 1 - Muluc "moo-luke" or
Offering which carries the themes of water, rain collected in water pots, vessels of gratitude
for life, clouds heavy with rain, the sacred jade stones used in rituals and
burials, offerings made in ceremony, baptisms and purification, deep
undercurrents of emotions, restoring equilibrium, appreciation for creation,
releasing negative patterns, energy, and emotions and accepting change. The day
glyph for Offering depicts a fish who represents the Mayan water deity. I love
the connection between the fish of Offering and all the Water energy of the
Sun, Mercury, and Saturn in Scorpio, Jupiter in Cancer, and Neptune and Chiron
in Pisces of this report period, not to mention we are currently in the Chinese
year of the Water Snake. The energy of this thirteen day period is about
gratitude for life and cleansing the past for transformation in the present.
I got a lot of great feedback from the 1
Cib "Care and feeding", and have reworked the Neutrino Forecast into
its own video series also available on Youtube and Facebook under New World
Birth. So from now on Care and Feeding will focus on the Mayan Tzolkin and
Astrology and each month the Human Design Neutrino Forecast will be a separate
offering.
November is the eleventh month and with
the digits for 2013, when added together we get 8, then we have an eight month
in numerology. Basic numerology reduces numbers to one through nine, so when we
think about that arc the 8 represents a time of picking up the pace as we our
preparing to complete the cycle next month. This can also bring revisions to
financial situations, businesses, investments, and industry. The eight is
represented by the Justice/Adjustment archetype in the Tarot cards, which is
about finding balance in our path to know ourselves. This also brings the
energy that what is begun must be completed.
Before I get into the daily energy for 1 -
Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering, on
October 26th 2013 all the planets
appear to move forward from our vantage point on Earth except Mercury, Chiron, Uranus, and Neptune which appear to move retrograde or in reverse
motion. Mercury is retrograde until November 10th so the end of October and the
beginning of November would be a good time to avoid signing contracts or other
legal papers, making any major purchases, or even taking a new job. If you can
postpone these types of activities the terms will be much clearer after Mercury
is moving direct. Mercury retrogrades force us to slow down and pay more
attention to our lives by making us focus on the details of our daily
experience. When looking at a retrograde cycle of any of the personal or inner
planets, it provides information about a correction to our present course.
Mercury traveled through the first stage of the retrograde process which
started on 10/1, when it passed the point where
it will appear to move forward again on 11/10.
That first stage represented the shadow time between passing 2 degrees Scorpio,
the point where the planet will eventually begin moving forward again and the
point where the planet slows, stops, and begins moving in reverse, 18 degrees
Scorpio. During the first stage we received information about needing to adjust
our direction. The second stage is the actual
time of Mercury retrograde and is a time to watch the events that occur related
to the information received in the 1st stage. The 3rd
stage begins when the planet is moving forward again until crossing the
line where it originally turned retrograde. During the 3rd stage we move
forward with a revision to our previous course. We entered the 1st stage for
Mercury on October 1st, so until October 21st, we received information about an
adjustment that needs to be made in our lives. Mercury
is retrograde from 10/21 at 18 Scorpio until 11/10 at 2 Scorpio which
now is the time we will notice events that shift our thinking, and from
November 10th to November 27th, we will be in the 3rd
stage where we implement the change in direction from the awareness
gained through experiencing this process. This Mercury retrograde is
intertwined with the Uranus Pluto square, because the day retrograde Mercury
conjuncts the Sun is November 1st, the day of the fourth Uranus Pluto square,
when the down trodden authentic individual rebel squares off against the
decaying power structures. The material world continues to destabilize, so it
is very important to support local providers and have a strong spiritual
foundation. This is a time we feel like our backs are against the wall. We have
no choice but to change or endure something that was once unthinkable. Uranus
gives us something unexpected. This goes
beyond dealing with the consequences of bad choices or poor planning, but
random events where folks are just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
I've discussed in depth the implications of
the other planets moving retrograde in the past reports, so I'll just keynote
each one. Retrograde Chiron has us reviewing our wounds so that they can be
released, by having the courage to open our hearts to any fear or pain
associated with our past. Retrograde Uranus in Aries is
seeking to shake our very foundation to shock us to awaken and forces us to
embrace our new way of living through reversals and unexpected events.
Retrograde Neptune in Pisces is seeking
transcendence through spiritual practices to keep us grounded as we expand our
intuition and consciousness, while we are in the middle of four years of the
unexpected rebellion of the individual (Uranus in Aries)
challenging the decaying power structure (Pluto in
Capricorn).
The big change for the 1 - Muluc
"moo-luke" trecena begins with Jupiter appearing to be stopped at the opening of this
thirteen day period prior to appearing to move retrograde or in reverse motion
from the perspective of the Earth on November
7th at 20 degrees of Cancer. So when the 1 -
Offering trecena begins, Jupiter is stopped and at the peak of its power.
Jupiter was the king of the gods, and the planet is about good fortune,
opportunities, faith, religion, beliefs and expansion. Cancer is about family,
home, nurturing, and protection, so we will see these themes expanded at the
end of October and into November. Jupiter entered into its retrograde shadow
period on August 13, 2013 which developed opportunities that will be reviewed
when Jupiter turns retrograde on November 7th. Mostly what I find with Jupiter
retrograde, as with any retrograde cycle there is a review of the past, and
with Jupiter what gets reviewed are missed opportunities. When Jupiter turns
direct on March 6th 2014 at 10 degrees of Cancer, we will have become aware of
a change in course regarding how we will expand our opportunities to protect
and nurture our families and homes. Jupiter will take a few days to build
momentum in moving reverse. In your personal life you may want to look at 20
degrees Cancer to become aware of the house that is currently feeling Jupiter's
expansive influence. For me, Jupiter is in my 2nd house of possessions, earning
power and money. So this retrograde time I may find myself reviewing my
finances and deciding what activities are worth expanding and what situations
are draining my resources with little material benefit. Time will tell.
We talked about the Uranus Pluto square in
past reports as being 7 occurrences from 2012 to 2015, whose theme is the
individual (Aries) revolutionary, upsetting (Uranus) the decaying and dying (Pluto) power structures (Capricorn).
So we are approaching the midpoint where the critical mass shifts from the old
paradigm to the new. I mentioned my favorite example of this taking hold was
when the reporter asked U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry if there was anyway
Syria could avoid military intervention and Kerry responded "He could turn
over every single bit of his chemical weapons to the international community,
in the next week... turn it over... all of it... without delay and allow a full
and total accounting for that... But he isn't about to do it and it can't be
done, obviously." If anyone deserves a Nobel Peace Prize it's the person
who asked the question that changed the course of history. That is the power of
the individual to upset the power structure from following the status quo. And
here in the US the old boy network is spouting that the United States is being
seen as weak because we didn't attack Syria. To me finding a peaceful solution
always requires more strength. Also here in the United States we had our
government shut down by "Tea Party" politicians who tried to overturn
the democratic process by extortion. They were unhappy with the laws that were
being constitutionally enacted, so they held the federal government hostage, until
the 11th hour when the United States would have defaulted on its debts. Fortunately
sanity prevailed and the "Tea Party" conservatives are now being seen
for the whining infants they are, rather than adults working within the system
they swore an oath to uphold: People who are willing to destroy the USA if they
cannot get their way. With this Uranus Pluto midpoint square, we are seeing the
end of the corrupt power wielded by the Tea Party, a fake grassroots movement
of Republicans, whose agenda has been to
increase their wealth by destroying the environment, the rights of minorities
and women, and the health and wellbeing of the citizens. Thank you Pluto in
Capricorn for tearing down this corrupt and decaying power structure.
The Uranus Pluto square on November 1st is
very powerful. With at least 10 strong planetary alignments at the time of the
square. With so many planets at 9 degrees and change, it's like a shooting
gallery, or when I first saw the chart it looked like a light saber battle. We
have Mars trine Pluto, opposing Chiron, and inconjunct Uranus and the Moon
squaring Pluto and opposing Uranus leading up to the square, which is followed
by Mercury and the Sun merged together as they sextile Mars and inconjunct
Uranus, so we have the "Finger of Fate" pointing at Uranus. Mercury
and the Sun are sextile Pluto, as is Chiron. This tells a story. In the war
between the Titans, Pluto is direct and well supported by Mars, the Sun,
Mercury, and Chiron. The challenger, Uranus is retrograde and has nothing but
detrimental connection with other planets. I see this as the scrappy Uranus,
being backed into a corner by Pluto and his entourage, but Uranus is as
unpredictable as an injured cornered wild animal. The results will be unexpected
and most likely violent. Since Neptune is not a player in this chart, I don't
believe there will be deception involved, I suspect this will be an overt
incident or incidents that present us with an experience like a chemical
reaction where some things are forever changed into a new material. I think
November 1st will be a time we look back on as THE moment when the quantum
shift occurred, when we experienced something that cannot be undone, the ship
sailing over the edge of the world, the point of no return.
Ok
let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena. October 26th 2013 is 1 - Muluc "moo-luke" or
Offering: unity experienced through appreciating
creation,
with the Last Quarter Moon in Leo being challenged by the Sun in Scorpio which
brings challenges to our daily routines. The 27th is 2 - Oc "awk" or Dog:
duality experienced through enjoying
family and friends, while the Moon in Leo finds support from Uranus, and is
challenged by Saturn and Mercury. The day moves from having the impulse
to engage in activities that make us feel more alive and having a desire for
emotional excitement to engage in activities outside our daily routine, to
later feeling lonely or isolated, to
finally folks
being critical in their communications particularly with the people they have
intimate relationships with and our moods influencing our ability to think
rationally. October 28th is 3 - Chuen
"shoe-in" or Monkey: taking action through creating something new, with Pluto sextile Chiron empowering us
by exposing our hidden or forgotten wounds to the light of day so healing is
possible. We also have the Leo
Moon supported by Venus which has us enjoying pleasant feelings and social
interactions. The 29th is 4 - Eb "eb" or
Road : stability through serving your community, while retrograde Mercury
merges with Saturn for the second time, which makes folks cautious
again. On the positive side we are more precise in our thinking, and detail
oriented in our communication. If you previously outlined a general plan, this
allows you to fill in the details. Critical thinking is very sharp and can see
flaws in any argument including our own. This transit can be an obstacle for
seeing the big picture. We can see the distinction of the different trees but
not the forest. At worst this can create difficulty in communication, because
we may be afraid to reveal something, so we say nothing due to negative
thinking that often accompanies this transit. This is the time to speak up
because what is not expressed can injure someone. Overall this requires
discipline, and commitment to our ethics and values. The 29th the Virgo Moon is opposed by Neptune, in harmony with
the Sun, merges with Mars, and is supported by Pluto which moves us from
feeling sensitive emotionally but confused regarding the accuracy of what's
being felt, to later feelings of inner and outer equanimity, then experiencing
irritable moods and critical communications, and finally with Pluto bringing
out intense emotions and stimulating sensitivity, which also favors sexual
relationships. October 30th is 5 - Ben
"ben" or Reed
or Corn: empowerment through maintaining
the home, as
the Moon in Virgo is in harmony with Mercury, Saturn, and Jupiter, and
challenged by Venus, the day moves from lots of chatting with friends,
neighbors, and coworkers, to having realistic expectations through being calm
and reflective, then later feeling in the flow and having a sense of wholeness,
and finally having pleasant energy to be with friends and loved ones. The 31st is
6 - Ix "eesh" or Jaguar: being in the flow through enjoying nature, while Mars trine Pluto wraps up the month
of October, with a supportive connection between the traditional and modern
rulers of Scorpio and an alignment between planet octaves. Mars representing
our desires and personal will and Pluto is the transcendent will of the
Universe and the empowerment of the authentic self.
A trine between Mars and Pluto is good for making changes in our lives
and to become more effective in changing the world around us. This can
stimulate peoples' ambitions without others feeling threatened. With Pluto
involved the Martian ego gets sublimated so our efforts should be for the
greater good or we will sow the seeds of our own self undoing. Mars is opposite
Chiron which brings aggressive wounding and/or healing through action. The
Libra Moon makes no angles which does not favor major decisions or purchases,
but is good to use for resting to assimilate this latest round of energy and
experiences. November 1st is 7 - Men "men" – Eagle:
reflection through seeing from a higher perspective,
and Uranus and Pluto's fourth exact square
of seven, which tips the scale towards the new paradigm, as the past three have
been deconstructing the old paradigm. The themes of revolution, transformation,
tension between the material and spiritual worlds, upheaval, along with death
and rebirth are particularly potent at this time. Acceleration of
transformation related to the revolution and evolution is increasing
exponentially. This is the peak of the energy for unexpected change as old
ways, old structures are crumbling to prepare us for transformation. This is one of the undercurrents that will be most powerful
during the continuing challenging square between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in
Capricorn at 9 degrees. These challenging angles between Uranus, the planet of
disruption, revolution and unexpected change in Aries, the sign of the individual,
challenging Pluto the planet of death and destruction but also rebirth, in the
sign of Capricorn representing structures including governments and
corporations, is the most powerful transit of our time. These two titans have
exact confrontations an amazing seven times between 2012 and 2015. Usually this
type of transit occurs three or five times. Seven times is unusual and very
intense. As I've said before the world will be a very different place by the
end of 2015. Also on the 1st we have Mercury sextile
Mars which brings a busy day with folks having more energy than usual
for their own projects. This is a day where working for someone else's benefit
does not inspire diligence but more likely resentment. If you can use the day
to work on what's of interest to you, it will seem like a good use of all this
energy. Since others are feeling the same way, plan on working independently of
others. There is energy for convincing others of your point of view, but they
also have the energy to convince you of their perspective. This might be a day
to avoid people and conversations that could lead to arguments, because this
has a competitive edge to it. We can be confident in our ideas and beliefs to
initiate something that should be successful as long as we don't need others to
bring it to fruition. And we have Sun sextile Pluto which empowers
us make changes in our immediate environment and reform the aspects of our
lives that have brought us unhappiness over time. Embrace the opportunities on
the 1st that can be used for the improvement of the general good. Scorpio Sun
in harmony with Pluto in Capricorn brings a few days to seize opportunities and
use this strange creative energy to benefit the greater good and spiritual
empowerment. Along with
the Sun
merging with retrograde Mercury, which prior to turning retrograde
Mercury appears to be way out in front of the Sun, then retrogrades back to
conjoin the Sun, and then falls behind the Sun. Prior to mechanized warfare
Generals would send their cavalry ahead of the infantry to scout out the
enemy's location, find possible resources, as well as the lay of the terrain to
move the troops with maximum efficiency, safety and to their strategic
advantage. I like to think of Mercury when it is stretching out in front of the
Sun as gathering intelligence to report back to our consciousness' during its
conjunction to the Sun. Using these two markers
connected with a rubber band, I am hoping to illustrate this pattern. When
Mercury, represented by the black marker, is in
front of the Sun, represented by the red marker, it becomes easier to be
overwhelmed by the increase in new information that seems to have no place to
be deposited. This can increase our anxiety and the sense of losing control. As
Mercury retrogrades the tension decreases
until it merges with the Sun, which occurs on November 1st, finding the
destination for the intelligence it has gathered. Once behind
the Sun, Mercury feels as though it is creating drag that retards the
possibility of implementing the new data until it regains forward motion in its pursuit of the Sun on
November 10th. On
the 1st we also have Mercury sextile Pluto with
Mercury turning retrograde, this is the second of these alignments. This
energetic loves the mysterious and wants to know what cannot be known. Our
minds are active in penetrating below the surface in a search for core
knowledge and real knowledge in our search for truth. This is great energy for
studying psychology, astrology, occult subjects, and healing techniques that
are aimed at regeneration. Folks may be certain of their "truths" and
engage in trying to convince others who are also certain of their personal
truth, so this pairing might be better to focus on our own investigation and
save persuading others for another day. Also on the 1st we have the Moon in
Libra activating the Uranus Pluto square 5 hours before its exactitude, by
being challenged by Pluto and Jupiter, and opposing Uranus, which starts with
having the compulsion to act in ways that may not be good for us in the long
run with folks emotionally excitable and
impulsive and later having benevolent and generous feelings for those in our
immediate environment. The 2nd is 8 Cib
"keeb" or Wisdom: balance through introspection, meditation and forgiveness; we have the 2nd
Mercury trine Chiron which will have folks being conscious of and talking about
their wounds so they can continue the healing process,
while the Moon harmonizes with Venus and finds support from Neptune, which
moves from wanting to be with friends and the people we love to later our
innermost subconscious fantasies and daydreams confusing reality, which may not
be great for accomplishing much work. November 3rd is 9 - Caban
"kah-ban" or Earth: patience experienced through gratitude for Mother Earth, with the Scorpio New Moon solar eclipse with the moon
merging with Mercury, the Sun, and Saturn, harmonizing with Pluto and Mars, and
finding support from Jupiter. Eclipses are
particularly powerful where they can be viewed which will be over the Atlantic
Ocean and Africa. There is something primordial about eclipses that even with
modern knowledge of the event, they still stir some deep animal uncertainty
within. In Scorpio, emotions and passions are intensified along with Mercury
transiting this point three times during its retrograde cycle there is a strong
possibility of hidden information being revealed particularly on November 22nd,
which will be the 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination and also a Friday.
New moons bring the opportunity to set an intension for manifestation on the
following full moon. Look to the house of your astrology chart that contains 11
Scorpio to consider what area of your life is being activated by this new moon. For me it is the
fifth house of children and creativity, so I expect this cycle to provide new
information about my creative process and perhaps my relationships with
children. This new moon has great energy for a
fresh start particularly related to spiritual commitment and transformation as
we become more aware of our authentic inner selves. The planetary angles to
this lunation are for the most part positive with positive energy for integrating our
thoughts and moods, experiencing deep emotions on a profound level, the desire
to work independently from others, wanting to be alone in our thoughts and
feelings, and feelings of inner and outer equanimity. It's interesting that
this eclipse occurs on the same degree of Scorpio as the first Mercury Saturn
conjunction on October 8th. The Sabian symbol for 11 degrees Scorpio is "A
Drowning man being rescued", which is the essence of love with a profound
sense of the interrelatedness with his fellow man. The new beginnings associated
with the transformation of events through values, motives, and ethics. This New
Moon Solar Eclipse empowers us with new opportunities, environments,
circumstances and situations, in the days following a shift to a new paradigm.
Also the Sun sextile Mars is great for taking positive actions and accomplishing all
kinds of work. This is a high energy transit which is favorable for physical
activities and overall health. A great day for a group project as it promotes
working with others. People will feel in a self assertive mood today, and are
not inclined to back down, so it would be wise to seek common ground when
dealing with differing opinions. The 4th is 10 - Etznab "etz-nob"
or Flint: manifestation through being introspective, with the Sagittarius Moon challenged by Neptune
with daydreams and fantasies feeling more important than reality. November 5th
is 11 - Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm:
resolution through recognizing the gifts in adversity,
while Venus moves into Capricorn which brings
caution and carefulness to love relationships and social interactions.
Capricorn brings a practicality to love. It also seeks security in partnering
which includes material comforts, with the Moon in Sagittarius finding
support from Uranus, and challenged by Mars, the day moves from a desire for
emotional excitement to engage in activities outside our daily routine to later
having the potential for people to be irritable and have needless disputes. The
6th is 12 - "ah-how" : understanding
through honoring the wisdom and memory of
our ancestors, while the
Sun conjuncts Saturn bringing more attention to
our responsibilities, to do the tasks where we feel an
obligation to others. What is accomplished today will have lasting significance,
as the Sun merges with Saturn at 14 degrees Scorpio illuminating boundaries and
discipline in our lives. This can also bring new responsibilities. It usually
brings low energy, so concentrate on what tasks need to accomplished, and let
what can wait for another day, wait for another day, as the Capricorn Moon merges with Venus
and harmonizes with Neptune and Mercury which moves from feeling cheerful,
warm, gregarious, and wanting to go out and socialize, with greater sensitivity
to others' emotions with possible psychic impressions for those who are open,
to finally experiencing an increase in communications of all kinds. November 7th is 13 - Imix
"e-meesh" or Crocodile: movement to the next stage through nurturing new beginnings, as Jupiter turns
retrograde in Cancer. Retrogrades bring a time of review. Jupiter is
about opportunities, so this may begin a time when people review their missed
opportunities particularly related to home and family. For some this might be a
time of thinking of a lost love with whom you considered having a family or
making a home with, but as fate would have it that dream did not become a
reality. Jupiter retrograde also has us reviewing any expansion we have
encountered since Jupiter moved into Cancer on June 25th of this year. During
this time of Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, another water sign, this also
signals a time of deeper awareness. With Venus in harmony with Neptune
inspires creative and romantic imagination, and is very nice energy between the
planet of romantic love and her higher octave the planet of unconditional love.
This might be a time when we experience universal love through our personal
relationships. This is also very creative and imaginative energy, that seeks
and appreciates beauty. Exposure to art, music, or poetry could help renew our
consciousness during the pleasant dreamy fog of this transit, with the Moon in
Capricorn challenged by Uranus, merging with Pluto, finding support from Mars,
and in harmony with Saturn and the Sun. The day begins with people likely to
act hasty and jump to conclusions, and we have more intense moods rising to the
surface from deep in our psyches, to later bringing the energy for asserting ourselves in a positive manner and standing our
ground if necessary,
with wanting to be alone in our thoughts and feelings, and finally feeling
balance between our inner and outer worlds.
So
no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Offering trecena, take
some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a
sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment
through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is
a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the
performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe
the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a
human experience.
