This is the "Care and feeding
of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of July 25th for 1 – Cimi "key-mee" or Transformation in the Mayan Tzolkin
calendar, with Venus and Uranus turning retrograde,
the Aquarius “blue” Full Moon, and Saturn turning direct.
July
25th for
1 – Cimi "key-mee"
or Transformation carries the themes of death and rebirth, forgiveness, surrender, guidance of
women through pregnancy, new beginnings through the release
of what no longer serves us, psychic abilities and self actualization. The
transformation day sign speaks of a choice to follow our heart's intuition and
the wisdom of our ancestors, nature and Mother Earth or the path of ego and the
dialogue of our chattering mind. I believe we all chose to incarnate during
this time of intense transformation, so it is important that we flow with the
cosmic changes. That's the reason for sharing these reports, so that you'll
have the information to prepare for difficult time periods but also to savor the times when the
energy is allowing an ease in the opening/expansion of consciousness. A reading
will dial that in for you on a much deeper personal level, but these reports
have good overall information for navigating these uncertain times. There may be growing pains associated with transformation
but I believe it is resistance to these evolutionary shifts that creates
suffering.
Since we begin a new Gregorian month during this trecena, I
thought I'd discuss the metaphysics of the upcoming month. August is the
eighth month and with the digits for 2015, when added together we get 16, then
we add 1 + 6 to tell us that this is a sixteen/seven month in numerology. Basic
numerology reduces numbers to one through nine, so when we think about that arc
the seven represents a time of digging into events and situations to get a
deeper perspective with stronger focus on values, motives, and ethics. Which
are also themes of the sign Scorpio, which has influence with Saturn in the
sign all month and turns direct on the 2nd. The sixteen/seven combination is
represented by the Tower and the Chariot in the Tarot cards, which is about
everything that is contrary to our authentic nature is destroyed or jettisoned
through finding our stillness even as we are in motion. This quote from William
Law represents the Tower archetype, "I feel within me a consuming fire of
heavenly love which has burned up in my soul everything contrary to itself and
transformed me inwardly into its own nature." This offering from Emerson
is helpful in understanding the Chariot, "Motion or change and identity or
rest are the first and second secrets or nature: Motion and Rest. The whole
code of her laws may be written on the thumbnail" So August represents
that the dramatic shift as June brought us new options, and July brought us
further down the path regarding the situations that lead to a new life, we
begin a time of evolution in August, that leads to the solar and lunar eclipses
in September.
Before I get into the daily energy for 1 –
Cimi "key-mee" or Transformation, on the 25th all the planets appear to be moving forward
from our vantage point on Earth, except Saturn, Chiron, Neptune and Pluto which
appears to move retrograde or in reverse motion. Remember the themes of
retrograde planets are the review the past, re-evaluate, reminisce and we can
see these themes being played out. Saturn
retrograde reviews our commitments, plans, what we do for work, and structures
of our lives. This one is a little more complicated than most because Saturn
started its apparent reverse movement in Sagittarius, but currently has backed
into the final degrees of Scorpio. Saturn retrograde is a task master that
demands we take responsibility to review, our beliefs while in Sagittarius and
our ethics while in Scorpio. Chiron retrograde in
Pisces is about releasing stuck emotional energy, so that we can return to the
natural flow of life. Retrograde Chiron has us reviewing our wounds so that
they can be released, by having the courage to open our hearts to any fear or
pain associated with our past. When Chiron is in Pisces people are willing to
sacrifice their individual pain in hopes of finding bliss in Universal
consciousness. At its worst this can manifest as folks justifying their
victimhood as some form of martyrdom. This should be transcendence and
surrender without losing ourselves in the experience. Neptune retrograde
is seeking transcendence through spiritual experiences. This will be a time to
use spiritual practices to keep us grounded as we expand our intuition and
consciousness. Both Neptune and Pisces, the sign it rules, tend to be dreamy,
imaginative, difficult to nail down due to their qualities of illusion and
illumination often without any way to know which is which. They represent
compassion and co-dependence, selflessness and loss of self, higher purpose and
substance abuse, in their inspiration to transcend the material plane and
experience something beyond words and thoughts. When Pluto,
the planet of transformation through a death and rebirth cycle, is retrograde,
which is about reviewing the past, and releasing anything from the past that is
a burden to our new path. Pluto in Capricorn is determined in exposing the
darkness, destroying the old order, so that we can rise up like the Phoenix
from the ashes to soar again. Capricorn is about large structures which
includes banks, governments, corporations, and religions. Pluto is in Capricorn
until 2023 where it is destroying and regenerating the structures that are the
foundation of our societies represented by Capricorn. This is a time of a
cosmic course correction for the entire planet. We cannot continue to harm
Mother Earth for the economic gain of a few.
Venus,
the most sacred planet to the Maya, is slowing to a stop to turn retrograde
before sunrise on the 25th, which was covered in the July 12th “Care and
feeding of a New World Age.” Basically Venus
retrograde reviews not only our social and romantic relationships, but also
what we value, so this is a period where people with assess what they are
attracted to including possessions and wealth. Venus began its retrograde in Virgo which brings the planet of esthetics, romance,
and money to remain in the sign of the Virgin for two weeks, and backed into Leo on July 31st. Venus
is retrograde will be the time when we will notice events related to our
relationships and/or money that shifts our thinking to prepare us for the
change we will implement after Venus is direct. Often we reconnect with old
friends and lovers, and repair ailing relationship during Venus retrograde.
Uranus
in Aries is at a stop as it prepares to turn retrograde at 20 degrees 30
minutes of Aries on July 26th. When a planet is stopped it is said to be at the
peak of its power, so Uranus at the peak of its power during July, is seeking
to shake our very foundation through the unexpected rebellion of the
individual. Stationed Uranus in Aries will have people wanting to hurry the
process of getting free. To push the river of revolution whether it be personal
or governmental. This impulse may not be in the best interest of those acting
on it, because with Pluto in Capricorn these changes and their consequences may
be long lasting and very difficult to reverse. I think that this is the time of
detaching (Uranus) to act as an unobstructed individual (Aries). When I think of the day
Uranus changed signs moving from Pisces into Aries on March 11 2011, I always
remember that was the day of the Japanese earth quake and tsunami which
crippled the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plants, which are still unstable and
spewing radiation to this day. And of course Uranus rules Uranium... Uranus in
astrology forces us outside our comfort zone so we have to look for
possibilities "outside the box." This is about unplanned experiences
that disrupt our perceived and planned life path in order to move us forward in
our spiritual evolution, individually and globally.
Uranus spends approximately seven years in a sign and leaves Aries for
Taurus in 2018 then retrogrades back to Aries and finally departs for almost 80
years, March of 2019. These seven year cycles are about testing us to adapt to
a new change, and we are currently experiencing the Aries test. Being an outer
planet, Uranus creates events that we "respond" to. The inner planets
effect us personally as individuals, but the outer planets change the landscape
which effects us as a collective and as individuals within humanity. Which
reminds me of this Krishnamurti quote "The only hope for humankind is in
the transformation of the individual." Uranus creates challenges according
to the sign it's in, so we may feel like we keep getting lessons in a theme
over and over again. Uranus being the modern ruling planet of Aquarius, means
that fairness is one of the topics, and often these events may seem unfairly
set against us. I know I feel this with government and corporations conspiring
to poison us with GMO food and starve us through austerity measures, oil and
tar sand spills, fracking, chemtrails, geo-engineering, and manmade massive
weather events, while the global elite eat organic food, build underground
bunkers, and hoard seeds in arctic vaults. Which brings us to the theme of
Aries: the self, the individual, the new beginning... This time particularly
impacts people with personal planets in the signs of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn,
and of course Aries, as these planets become doorways to something unexpected
and yet authentic. Which set the stage for the epic seven challenging squares
with Pluto in Capricorn that we've been discussing since 2012. As the
individuals (Aries) revolting (Uranus) against the decaying power (Pluto)
structures (Capricorn), which we can see this in almost every corner of the
Earth as the individuals and groups protest oppression from the global elite. I
believe the uprisings will be successful in overthrowing the old regimes and
patriarchy, but it's an uphill fight for some time to come.
Interestingly, the last time there were
Uranus Pluto squares, was 1932 to 1934, Uranus was in Aries as it is now, and
as we have talked about in May that Mercury retrograde cycles repeat every 79
years, so we are currently repeating the 1936 Mercury cycle which brings
forward similar aspects that we see being played out in the event field. That
was a time of great upheaval with events such as the Dust Bowl, which was
caused by farming practices that stripped the soil, which when the weather
changed destroyed the landscape. Also that was the time of the Great Depression
with international power struggles, leadership changes, and financial
adjustments, such as the New Deal programs, under F.D.R. in the U.S. from 1933
to 1936, as a safety net for the poor and unemployed, which are the same
programs that the U.S government is currently trying to dismantle. And we see
these themes being played out in many other countries at that time as well.
In
thinking of the many environmental events we are facing whether manmade or
natural, I was reminded that Uranus was one of the original gods to the Greeks.
He was the sky god and the husband of the earth goddess Gaia. He was born out
of the primordial chaos, and came every night to cover the earth and mate with
Gaia. Unfortunately he hated the children she bore him and killed or imprisoned
most of them, until his son Cronus or Saturn ambushed his father, castrated
him, and cast the severed testicles into the sea, which then became Aphrodite
or Venus the goddess of love. After being disposed the sky no longer covered
the earth at night and instead held its place above the earth. Which I guess
was the beginning of being able to study the movements of the planets and stars
in the night sky.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena.
July
25th for
1 – Cimi "key-mee"
or Transformation: unity
experienced through releasing what no longer serves us in the
Mayan Tzolkin calendar, with Venus turning retrograde which begins
the second stage where we will learn about a change in our course, through our
experiences in relationships. Retrogrades are times of review and looking
backward. Venus is retrograde every eighteen months and can have an impact on
our relationships, but also our money, because Venus also rules money, so we
may be reviewing past financial dealings with an eye for choices that did not
work out as planned. Overall something from the past needs to be resolved,
whether its love relationships, or financial connections. Overall I think the
trap to watch out for is regret. The past is the past, so let go of regrets and
try not to waste much thought on whether someone who has dumped you in the
past, regrets their choice. I think those without regrets tend to be shallow
people and if you were tossed aside by one of them, they probably did you a
favor. Also
on the 25th Mars squares Uranus which is like someone on the sidelines trying to provoke
Uranus into action as the intensity increases, with aggressive revolutionary
energy, as the integrity of the old world structures continue to be assaulted,
and those in power violently try to suppress the individuals fighting for
change and humanity. The days before and after the 25th when the transit is in
orb, we would benefit from physical activity to channel some of this reckless
and impulsive energy. This is more energy that may bring completions of old
worn out situations to prepare for new beginnings. When we look at Mars
challenged by Uranus and Venus turning retrograde on the same day, accidents
and arguments are likely especially since Uranus is at a standstill or
stationed, before turning retrograde on the 26th, which can bring impulsive and
even reckless actions. Caution is important on the 25th. Also on the 25th the Scorpio Moon
harmonizes with Pluto and finds support from Mars which moves from having deep
emotions finding their way to the surface and felt on a profound level,
followed by feeling a little more confident than usual with the ability to
assert ourselves in a positive manner.
The 26th is 2 – man-eek" : duality
experienced through being of service to others, as Uranus
turns retrograde which will inspire people to break
out of anything that confines them. The "Wind of Change" changing
direction will move the revolutionary energy to a more personal place until
December 26th.
Also on the 26th
the Moon is challenged by Jupiter and Venus, merges with Saturn, and finds
support from the Sun and Mercury which begins the day with benevolent and
generous feelings for those in our immediate environment, followed by wanting
to be alone in our thoughts and feelings, then having pleasant energy to be
with friends and loved ones, later feeling a sense of inner harmony which is
mirrored in the outside world, and finally feeling in touch with our emotions
and expressing them to others.
July 27th is 3 – Lamat
"la-maught" or Star or Rabbit or Venus: taking action
through being grateful for abundant
relationships, while the Sagittarius Moon is challenged by Neptune and finds
support from Uranus which shifts from daydreams and fantasies feeling more
important than reality, to later having the impulse to engage in activities
that make us feel more alive.
The
28th is
4 - Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering:
stability through appreciating creation, with the
Moon supported by Jupiter and Venus which moves from people having a
pleasant sense of wellbeing, to later enjoying pleasant feelings and social
interactions.
July 29th is
5 - Oc "awk" or Dog:
empowerment through enjoying family and friends, with
the Capricorn Moon in harmony with Neptune and merging with Pluto which shifts
from being
very sensitive to the moods of others, to later we have more intense moods
rising to the surface from deep in our psyches.
The
30th is
6 – Chuen "shoe-in" or Monkey: being in the flow
through creating something new, as the Moon
in Capricorn is challenged by Uranus, opposed by Mars, and harmonizes with
Saturn. The day begins with folks acting hasty and jumping to conclusions that may
not be correct, followed by opposed by Mars which influences people to be more
excitable and irritable which can cause problems in our personal lives, and
finally harmonizing with Saturn brings realistic expectations through being
calm and reflective.
July
31st is 7 - Eb
"eb" or Road: reflection through serving your community, with the Aquarius Full Moon (which is also a blue moon) at 7
degrees, opposed by Mercury as well as the Sun in Leo. Of course we get the
standard hype related to the "Aquarian Age" by the astrologers who
haven't done their research into when the Aquarian Age will occur, which we
covered way back in the New World Birth video for January 13th 2013, and is
still available on YouTube. If you've connected with that offering you know
that we are over 300 years away from the Aquarian Age. Which has been hyped as
being a time of "spiritual bliss", but Aquarius represents technology
and non-personal humanity, which reminds me of the Borg-Collective from Star
Trek Next Generation, as an impersonal technology that traveled the universe
assimilating others into its group consciousness. Ironically the characters, I
route for in that show represent the Leo opposition to Aquarius, being willful,
creative, strong individuals. Anyway none of us will be alive in our current
incarnation when the Aquarian Age dawns. This is about finding balance between
our social consciousness (Moon in Aquarius) and being happy, creative, and
having fun (Sun in Leo) with some feeling a real conflict between feelings and
reason and others will have fruitful expressions of their deeper awareness
either internally or with another (Moon opposition Mercury). Leo Sun wants to
be dramatically expressed, feeling tension with the transpersonal path to
reason of the Aquarian Moon. Aquarius
is ruled by Uranus so the results of this full moon are unpredictable. This is
very challenging for folks with planets at the 5 to 9 degrees of Leo, Scorpio,
Aquarius, and Taurus. Also on the 31st retrograde Venus
backs into Leo which brings flamboyant and dramatic
effect on our romances and social gatherings. People may be more inspired to
splurge on gifts for loved ones over the next ten weeks. This lifts peoples
spirits and brings more joy and creativity to our interpersonal relationships.
Venus in Leo joining Jupiter in the sign of the lion. We can see the influence
with Jupiter is Leo bring us global drama.
August 1st is 8
Ben "ben" or Reed or Corn: balance
through maintaining the home, with the Moon
in Aquarius stimulated by Uranus, opposed by Jupiter and Venus, and challenged
by Saturn, which shifts from having pleasant yet restless feelings craving
emotional excitement to do something outside the daily routine, to later having
feelings of generosity, followed by people feeling
lonely or isolated, and finally opposed by Venus bring pleasant energy for enjoying sensual experiences and rich
food with a caution against overindulgence.
August 2nd is 9 - Ix "eesh"
or Jaguar: patience experienced through enjoying
nature, with
Saturn turning direct which will take a while to pick up speed but this begins a
time period where we can implement a course correction regarding an obstacle
that has been in our path over the last few months. Saturn’s forward movement
can show us a new path and make us aware that we have a responsibility to work
on making something better through being conscious of our ethics, motives, and
intensions. Saturn's stationing at 28 degrees Scorpio has been intense for
folks with planets in the late-degrees of the fixed signs of Taurus, Leo,
Scorpio, and Aquarius. Even though the pressure will dissipate slowly, it will
be an improvement to get some relief. Also on the 2nd Mercury
trine Uranus continues Mercury's dance
through the sign of Leo. Uranus is the higher octave planet to Mercury. Mercury
being about our personal thinking and communicating, while Uranus is about
transpersonal communing with something larger than ourselves. This is a very
stimulating transit which raises conscious awareness and brings more of a love
for life, a desire to seize the day "Carpe Deum". New ideas come
quickly with solutions for a problem that has been perplexing, somehow
available under this influence, after being unavailable in the days leading up
to this time period. This energy is looking for a break from routine to go out
and do something out of the ordinary. It favors studying a new topic,
particularly astrology, science, math, technology and the occult. Expect some
electric conversations under this influence. Also on the 2nd the Pisces Moon
merges with Neptune and harmonizes with Pluto which shifts from feelings of
empathy for those around us, including the possibility of clairvoyance and
telepathic experiences for those of us who are sensitive by nature, to later
experiencing deep emotions on a profound level.
The
3rd is 10
– Men "men" or Eagle: manifestation through seeing from a higher perspective, while Jupiter
square Saturn
brings energy to make adjustments in life, such as separating from people or
circumstances that are not beneficial. This process is likely to come from
feeling tension between Jupiter’s expansion and Saturn’s restriction, through
realizing what is inappropriate and becoming more aligned with a sense of duty
and responsibility. Because this transit can bring confusion about whether to
expand or cut back, this may be a good time to go off by yourself as other
people’s advice is of little value. This also brings a strong feeling of
uncertainty and restlessness, but don’t rush to make any change because often
we do not have all the facts. In financial markets Jupiter square Saturn often
creates restriction, which some will resent and impulsively go “all in” in response
to feeling limited, with less than optimal results. Also on the 3rd the Moon in Pisces finding
support from Mars and Saturn which moves from having the energy for asserting ourselves in a positive manner and standing our
ground if necessary,
followed by having a sober realistic view of life.
August 4th is 11 – Cib "keeb" or Wisdom: resolution through
introspection, meditation and forgiveness, while Venus conjunct Jupiter
which is one of the most agreeable transits, unfortunately it only lasts a day.
It has a very pleasant effect on people's moods. Many will be more optimistic,
happy, outgoing and eager. It can also bring folks to indulge themselves and
spend money, as self discipline is at a low. This would be a great day to have
any type of celebration, and of course with Venus love relationships are
favored. Typically, excellent energy for a wedding or a party. Also on the 4th the Aries Moon
supported by the Sun and challenged by Pluto which shifts from having a sense
of harmony within ourselves and supports any type of group activity and relationships
with the opposite sex, then later having the compulsion to act in ways that may
not be good for us in the long run.
The 5th is 12 - Caban
"kah-ban" or Earth: understanding through gratitude for Mother Earth,
while Venus square Saturn which can be a
day of having difficulty relating to others, feeling cool, reserved,
isolated... Many will be reevaluating what they are getting out of their
relationships as compared to what they are putting in. If you feel loneliness
or depression on the 5th, just realize that this too shall pass. Also on the 5th the Moon in Aries
merges with Uranus, finds support from Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter, and is
challenged by Mars. The day moves from people feeling impulsive and acting
rashly, with moods changing quickly and unexpectedly, to being more in touch
with our feelings and able to share them with others, then later people feeling
irritable which could lead to needless disputes, followed by enjoying social
interactions with others, and finally people having a pleasant sense of
wellbeing.
August 6th
is 13 -
Etznab "etz-nob" or Flint: movement to the
next stage through being introspective, with Mars
trines Saturn
with Saturn's support Mars finds
patience and the willingness to do difficult and precision work. This is a rare
time when Mars' usual erratic and impulsive energy can be focused and
concentrated on a task that demands constant attention even if the job is not
rewarding or glamorous. The three planets in water signs open the doorway for
emotional evolution.
Also on the 6th Mercury conjunct Venus
which stimulates our appreciation of beauty, whether it be art, poetry, music,
people, or nature. In Leo people may be more likely to dramatically express
their love for others. This is a merging of the mental and emotional realms
within ourselves, so folks may experience concepts with emotions or express feelings
in an intellectual manner. This is wonderful for creativity or any type of
artistic expression. This transit can be favorable for financial and business
dealings, along with scientific research by seeing patterns in the universe and
appreciating them aesthetically. Also on the 6th Mercury
squares Saturn which favors heavy mental contemplating that requires
disciplined thinking, a sharper mind and higher standard for quality. But it
also brings difficulty in communicating and being understood by others. Not the
best time for any type of negotiations, with folks misinterpreting each other,
so I'd delay business dealings for a day or two. This is also a time when
people are more likely to withdraw and feel lonely. The gift of this passage is
it increases our ability to think practically, but we also see the
imperfections and flaws. Overall the 6th will bring us new
understandings and conscious awareness. Also on the
6th the last quarter Moon in Taurus harmonizes
with Neptune, is supported by Pluto, and challenged by the Sun, which shifts
from having greater sensitivity to others' emotions with possible psychic
impressions for those who are open, followed by Pluto bringing out intense
emotions and stimulating sensitivity, which also favors sexual relationships,
and finally squared by the Sun brings challenges to following a daily routine.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Transformation trecena,
take some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a
sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment
through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is
a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the
performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe
the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a
human experience.
