This is the "Care and feeding
of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of December 15th 2015 for 1
– Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering in the Mayan
Tzolkin calendar, with the Sun entering Capricorn for the
Solstice, the Cancer Full Moon, and Uranus turning direct.
December 15th is 1
– Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering
with the themes of water, rain collected in
water pots, vessels of gratitude for life, clouds heavy with rain, the sacred jade
stones used in rituals and burials, offerings made in ceremony, baptisms and
purification, deep undercurrents of emotions, restoring equilibrium,
appreciation for creation, releasing negative patterns, energy, and emotions,
and accepting change. The day glyph for Offering depicts a fish who represents
the Mayan water deity. The energy of this thirteen day period is about
gratitude for life and cleansing the past for transformation in the present.
Having 13 - Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile as a day sign, this is
my trecena, where I experience the five days leading up to my Tzolkin return as
releasing the past to prepare for a new beginning as I enter my personal round.
Before I get into the daily energy for 1 – Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering, on the 15th all the
planets appear to be moving forward from our vantage point on Earth, except Uranus which appears to move retrograde or in reverse
motion. Remember the themes of retrograde planets are the review the past,
re-evaluate, reminisce and we can see these themes being played out. Uranus in Aries retrograde until December 25th.
Uranus seeks to shake our very foundation through the unexpected rebellion of
the individual. Retrograde Uranus in Aries will have people wanting to hurry
the process of getting free. To push the river of revolution whether it be
personal or political.
In
December,
Uranus in Aries is slowing to a stop as it prepares to turn direct at 16 degrees 33 minutes of
Aries on December 25th. When a planet is stopped it is said to be at the
peak of its power, so Uranus at the peak of its power during December. I think
that this is the time of detaching (Uranus) to act as an unobstructed
individual (Aries). When
I think of the day Uranus changed signs moving from Pisces into Aries on March
11 2011, I always remember that was the day of the Japanese earth quake and
tsunami which crippled the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plants, which are still
unstable to this day. And of course Uranus rules Uranium... Uranus in astrology
forces us outside our comfort zone so we have to look for possibilities
"outside the box." This is about unplanned experiences that disrupt
our perceived and planned life path in order to move us forward in our
spiritual evolution, individually and globally.
Uranus spends approximately seven years in a sign and leaves Aries for
Taurus in 2018 then retrogrades back to Aries and finally departs for almost 80
years, March of 2019. These seven year cycles are about testing us to adapt to
a new change, and we are currently experiencing the Aries test. Being an outer
planet, Uranus creates events that we "respond" to. The inner planets
effect us personally as individuals, but the outer planets change the landscape
which effects us as a collective and as individuals within humanity. Which
reminds me of this Krishnamurti quote "The only hope for humankind is in
the transformation of the individual." Uranus creates challenges according
to the sign it's in, so we may feel like we keep getting lessons in a theme
over and over again. Uranus being the modern ruling planet of Aquarius, means
that fairness is one of the topics, and often these events may seem unfairly
set against us. I know I feel this with government and corporations conspiring
to poison us with GMO food and starve us through austerity measures, oil and
tar sand spills, fracking, chemtrails, geo-engineering, and manmade massive
weather events, while the global elite eat organic food, build underground
bunkers, and hoard seeds in arctic vaults. Which brings us to the theme of
Aries: the self, the individual, the new beginning...
This time particularly impacts
people with personal planets 15-18 degrees of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, and of
course Aries, as these planets become doorways to something unexpected and yet
authentic. We discussed the seven challenging
squares with Pluto in Capricorn that occurred between 2012-2015. Even now
Uranus and Pluto are still within 3 degrees of an exact square, and will continue
to conspire to influence us until April next year, with pressure and intensity,
as individuals (Aries) revolting (Uranus) against the decaying power (Pluto) structures (Capricorn),
which we can see this in almost every corner of the Earth as the individuals
and groups protest oppression from the global elite.
Interestingly, the last time there were Uranus Pluto squares, was 1932
to 1934, Uranus was in Aries as it is now. That was a time of great upheaval
with events such as the Dust Bowl, which was caused by farming practices that
stripped the soil, which when the weather changed destroyed the landscape. Also
that was the time of the Great Depression with international power struggles,
leadership changes, and financial adjustments, such as the New Deal programs,
under F.D.R. in the U.S. from 1933 to 1936, as a safety net for the poor and
unemployed, which are the same programs that the U.S government is currently
trying to dismantle. And we see these themes being played out in many other
countries at that time as well.
In thinking of the many environmental events we are facing whether
man-made or natural, I was reminded that Uranus was one of the original gods to
the Greeks. He was the sky god and the husband of the earth goddess Gaia. He
was born out of the primordial chaos, and came every night to cover the earth
and mate with Gaia. Unfortunately he hated the children she bore him and killed
or imprisoned most of them, until his son Cronus or Saturn ambushed his father,
castrated him, and cast the severed testicles into the sea, which then became
Aphrodite or Venus the goddess of love. After being disposed the sky no longer
covered the earth at night and instead held its place above the earth. Which I
guess was the beginning of being able to study the movements of the planets and
stars in the night sky. During this report period
Mercury and Venus interact with the dissipating Uranus Pluto square.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena. December 15th 2015
is 1 – Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering: unity experienced through appreciating creation in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, while
the Aquarius Moon harmonizes with Saturn and Uranus, is challenged by Venus,
and supported by Mars, with the days emotional energy beginning with wanting to be alone in our thoughts and feelings, followed
by pleasant energy for being with the others we want to know better, then
later pleasant yet restless
energy that desires emotional excitement, and finally brings the energy for
asserting ourselves in a positive manner and standing our ground if necessary.
The
16th is
2 – Oc "awk" or Dog:
duality experienced through enjoying
family and friends,
while the Moon in Aquarius is in harmony with the Sun in Sagittarius which
influences us in feeling balance between
our inner and outer worlds.
December 17th is 3 – Chuen "shoe-in" or Monkey:
taking action through creating something new, while Venus in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn bringing an atmosphere of passion, intensity, and
expression with less filtering, be careful not say things you will regret
later. Folks may seek the advice of older people (Capricorn) regarding
relationships or money (Venus). Venus in harmony with Pluto combines love and
death, so this could be a time when we hear from an ex-lover or have the desire
to contact a partner from our past. This transit deepens our emotions and brings
more focus on our friendships. It also intensifies love relationships and
interpersonal bonds, and can take sexual experiences to a whole new level. A
new relationship begun under this influence may feel "fated." Also on
the 17th the Pisces Moon merges with Neptune, is challenged by Saturn,
harmonizes with Mercury and Pluto, and finds support from Venus. The day's
emotional energy shifts from feelings
of empathy for those around us, including the possibility of clairvoyance and
telepathic experiences for those of us who are sensitive by nature, to people
feeling lonely or isolated, followed by people feeling chatty and
having numerous conversations, later on experiencing deep emotions on a profound level, and finally enjoying
social interactions with others.
The 18th is 4 – Eb "eb" or Road: stability through
serving your community, while the first quarter Moon in Pisces is opposed by
Jupiter and challenged by the Sun which moves from people having feelings of generosity, to
later encountering challenges
to our daily routines.
December
19th is 5 - Ben "ben" or Reed or Corn: empowerment through maintaining the home, while Mercury
conjunct Pluto, which intensifies mental activity
and a penetrating quality to communications along with having a critical eye
for what needs to be transformed in our environment, with increasing intensity.
On a mental level there is a penetrating quality to go deep in discovering the
"truth" in which superficiality does not cut it. This also indicates
a capacity to influence others, and to speak with a persuasive voice. People
will present opinions as facts, believing they a right and the others is wrong.
Be careful of who you engage with under this transit, as many with make
statements with no regard for the feelings of the listener, which they may
interpret as threatening. This can also bring more acute powers for penetrating
analysis of human nature, which is best not shared without an invitation to do
so. Let's not forget that this transit is effecting everyone so we are as
likely to be the recipient of these behaviors from others, as being the
perpetrator. Probably the best use of this transit is to get preoccupied with a
project or idea that you work on independently from others and you wait to
share until another day. While Mercury interacts with the departing Uranus
Pluto square we may become aware of some area in our lives that need change or
adjustment. Also on the 19th Venus
trine Chiron brings healing energy through love relationships and social
interaction. Also on the 19th the Aries Moon finds support from Saturn, is
challenged by Pluto and Mercury, and merges with Uranus, which shifts from having a sober realistic view of life, to later having the compulsion to act in ways that may
not be good for us in the long run, followed by folks being critical in their communications particularly with the
people they have intimate relationships with, and finally people feeling impulsive and acting rashly, with moods changing
quickly and unexpectedly.
The
20th is
6 – Ix "eesh" or Jaguar: being in the flow through enjoying nature, while
Mercury in Capricorn is challenged by Uranus in Aries
which is a stressful alignment that pits the traditional thinking against
rebellious new views. Since the outer planets tend to have more power, I
believe that any rigid conservative ideas will be attacked, and transformed or
released to make way for more innovative concepts, but of course Uranus is
unpredictable so anything could happen. This could also be a time of increased
protests with potential recklessness and violence. Personally, this can be
quite stimulating bringing fascination for new phenomenon. Flexibility is the
key with this transit, because the more rigid our thinking the more nerve
wracking the effect. Expect the unexpected, surprises and upsets, and you will
have the best chance to go with the flow, which may mean that plans for the day
do not work out as expected. Epiphanies are more likely, so you may want to
capture your genius thoughts in some form of record keeping, to reexamine in
the days that follow. The pace is fast which can lead to sloppiness. A day to
be careful of making sudden unexpected moves as accidents are more likely under
this influence.
Also on the 20th the Moon in Aries is opposed by Mars and supported by the Sun
which moves from influencing people to be
more excitable and irritable which can cause problems in our personal lives, to
later having a sense of harmony within ourselves and supports any type of group
activity and relationships with the opposite sex.
December
21st is 7 – Men
"men" or Eagle: reflection through seeing from a higher perspective, with the Sun enters Capricorn,
bringing us the Solstice, Winter in the North and Summer in the South. Solstice
and Equinox charts have long been used as predictors of the coming season. In
the north this begins a time of turning inward during the winter, and to
evaluate the growth and manifestations that were planted during the spring
equinox in March. In the south this is a time of cultivating the intensions
planted during the spring equinox in September. When considering the Solstice
chart, I look at the dominant alignments, like the Uranus Pluto square is still
influential as a force for transformation through rebellion. On the solstice
the Moon in Taurus is in a grand trine with Jupiter in Virgo and Mercury and
Pluto in Capricorn. Mercury conjunct Pluto empowers folk to believe their
opinions are facts, and may express this energy over the next three months in a
way that seems threatening, which will be challenging in both personal and
global stages. The very positive grand trine in Earth signs brings opportunity
through being grounded with Jupiter expanding our wellbeing, Mercury assisting
in our understanding and communications, and Pluto increasing our sensitivity
for transformation. The Moon is also opposed by Venus and with Venus sextile
Jupiter and the Mercury Pluto conjunction, we have a kite with Venus as the
tail and the Taurus Moon is the focal point, which emotional energy related to
resources. Venus in harmony with Pluto brings a fated feeling regarding
relationships and what we value. Venus Mercury bring the ability to express
those incites. Mars opposes Uranus, and both Planets are square Mercury and
Pluto, the head of the t-square. Mercury squaring Uranus and merging with
Pluto, could bring challenges related to communication and mental themes, with
unpredictable and transformative results during the next three months. Mars
brings aggression, action and will bring more world events of aggressive
revolt, even if the media does not cover what we all know is occurring. People
will feel the drive to defend their ideas, from a simple debate to and all out
fight. Mars in Libra may choose more covert ways to take action such as passive
aggression. This could be about transforming the world around you or having
fierce disagreements and power struggles. It arouses ambition and the desire to
get ahead with high energy to back the drive with action, usually with
opposition coming from others. This can be ruthless and underhanded in dealing
with anyone who is an obstacle to achieving the goal over the next three months.
I can just imagine this being played out on the political stage. Saturn square
Neptune continues to dissolve limitations, boundaries, and borders, obscuring
what was once thought of as solid and reliable. Solstice chart overall foretells
the next few months have opportunities for business and at home through being
grounded, and potentially aggressive rebellion in the streets. Also 21st Mercury sextile
Chiron brings deeper understanding to and communication about our healing
processes. Also on the 21st the Taurus Moon harmonizes with Neptune, and finds
support from Pluto which shifts from having greater sensitivity to others' emotions with possible psychic
impressions for those who are open, to later Pluto bringing out intense
emotions and stimulating sensitivity, which also favors sexual relationships.
The 22nd is 8 Cib "keeb"
or Wisdom: balance through introspection, meditation and forgiveness, with the
Moon supported by Mercury and Jupiter, and opposed by Venus. The day's
emotional influence moves from being
more in touch with our feelings and able to share them with others, followed by pleasant energy for enjoying sensual experiences
and rich food with a caution against overindulgence, and finally people having a warm sense of wellbeing.
December 23rd
is 9 – Caban "kah-ban" or Earth:
patience experienced through gratitude for
Mother Earth, while the Gemini Moon is challenged by Neptune and opposed by
Saturn which shifts from daydreams and fantasies
feeling more important than reality, to later feeling lonely and isolated.
The 24th is 10 – Etznab
"etz-nob" or Flint: manifestation through being introspective, with Venus
sextiles Jupiter
which brings feelings of contentment and benevolence. A very nice sense of
being at peace with the world. Friendships benefit from generosity with
activities engaged in at this time, becoming a fair exchange over time. This is
also favorable for financial dealings, particularly foreign investments, or
agreements related to medicine or legal matters. Friendships or romantic
relationships that begin under this influence should be mutually beneficial.
Also this is a very good day for getting together with friends and enjoying
this lighthearted transit particularly engaging in some form of rest and
recreation, and leaving the more serious or routine business for another day.
Overall very nice energy for family gathering as the usual conflicts are
diminished. Also on the 24th the Moon in Gemini is stimulated by Uranus, challenged by Jupiter, and
finds support from Mars, which moves from pleasant yet restless feelings
craving emotional excitement to do something outside the daily routine,
followed by benevolent and generous feelings for those in our immediate
environment, and feeling a little more
confident than usual with the ability to assert ourselves in a positive manner.
December 25th is 11 – Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm: resolution through recognizing
the gifts in adversity,
while we have the Cancer Full
Moon, with the moon at 3 degrees
20 minutes Cancer,
opposed by the Sun and supported by Neptune. These transits underscore the
themes of our innermost subconscious fantasies and daydreams confusing reality,
which may not be great for accomplishing much work, with the full moon's
tension as the Sun in Capricorn is about work, career, who we are in the outer
world trying to find balance with home, nurturing and our inner emotional world
represented by the Moon in Cancer.
The Moon is in the sign of its rulership influencing our emotions from a place
of nurturing, and being safe and secure at home. Uranus turning direct on the
full moon could bring new incites regarding family and important females in our
lives. Also
on the 25th Uranus turns direct after being retrograde since July, which brings us into a
time of awakening, in concert with the Solstice and Cancer Full Moon. With
Uranus moving forward at 16 degrees Aries, we slowly realize the powerful
energetic that stimulates us to live our lives more authentically. This adds
more weight to the seeking freedom side of the equation. Also on the 25th Mercury trine Jupiter is great energy for making
plans for the future from an overview perspective. This transit does influence
us to take the easy way out and avoid difficult intellectual and mental
problems. Mercury supported by Jupiter is good for business dealings and
signing contracts, as we find our minds are sharper to see opportunities that
normally are overlooked. This is optimistic and promotes positive thinking and
studying subjects that deal with high level thought such as law, philosophy,
religion. Jupiter’s influence on Mercury brings open mindedness and positive
communication to reach a greater understanding.
The
26th is 12 - "ah-how" :
understanding through honoring the wisdom and memory of
our ancestors, with the Moon in Cancer opposed by Pluto and Mercury, challenged
by Uranus and Mars, in harmony with Jupiter, and
supported by Venus bringing a busy day of emotional stimulation which starts
with brings deep emotions rising to the surface, then people are likely to act
hasty and jump to conclusions, followed by feeling in the flow and having a
sense of wholeness, later some feeling a real conflict between feelings and
reason and others having fruitful expressions of their deeper awareness either
internally or with another, then people feeling irritable which could lead to
needless disputes, and finally enjoying pleasant feelings and social interactions.
December 27th is 13
– Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile: movement to the next stage through nurturing new beginnings, while Moon
in Cancer makes no angles and is void of course until moving into Leo, which
does not favor major decisions or purchases, but is good to use for resting to
assimilate this latest round of energy and experiences.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Offering trecena,
take some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a
sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment
through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is
a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the
performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe
the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a
human experience.
