This is the "Care and feeding
of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of August 7th and
1 – Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar,
with Mercury and Jupiter entering Virgo, Mars entering Leo, and the Leo New Moon.
August 7th and
1 – Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm carries the themes of rain, wind, lightning, giver of life, the cycles of the
moon, the feminine, the warmth of home while inclement weather rages outside, purification, nourishment, compassion, emotions, seeing
challenges as blessings, healing through the release of ego, clouds pregnant
with rain followed by a flash of lightning and the release of the storm that
cleanses the earth to prepare for new consciousness. This thirteen day period
would be an important time to focus on what is truly important in life and hold
loosely those things that are a distraction to your essence. Allow the waters
of the storm trecena to wash away the false pride and rigid thinking to create
fertile ground for the growth of your integrated and authentic self.
Before I get into the daily energy for 1 –
Cauac
"cow-ack" or Storm, on the 7th all the planets appear to be moving forward from
our vantage point on Earth, except Venus, Chiron,
Uranus, Neptune and Pluto which appears
to move retrograde or in reverse motion. Remember the themes of retrograde
planets are the review the past, re-evaluate, reminisce and we can see these
themes being played out. Venus retrograde reviews
not only our social and romantic relationships, but also what we value, so this
is a period where people with assess what they are attracted to including
possessions and wealth. Venus began its retrograde in Virgo
which the planet of esthetics, romance, and money was in the sign of the Virgin
for two weeks, and then backed into Leo on July
31st. Venus is retrograde will be the time
when we will notice events related to our relationships and/or money that
shifts our thinking to prepare us for the change we will implement after Venus
is direct. Often we reconnect with old friends and lovers, and repair ailing
relationship during Venus retrograde. Chiron
retrograde in Pisces is about releasing stuck emotional energy, so that we can
return to the natural flow of life. Retrograde Chiron has us reviewing our
wounds so that they can be released, by having the courage to open our hearts
to any fear or pain associated with our past. When Chiron is in Pisces people
are willing to sacrifice their individual pain in hopes of finding bliss in
Universal consciousness. At its worst this can manifest as folks justifying
their victimhood as some form of martyrdom. This should be transcendence and
surrender without losing ourselves in the experience. Uranus in
Aries retrograde until December 26th. Uranus seeks to shake our very foundation
through the unexpected rebellion of the individual. Retrograde Uranus in Aries
will have people wanting to hurry the process of getting free. To push the
river of revolution whether it be personal or political. Neptune retrograde
is seeking transcendence through spiritual experiences. This will be a time to
use spiritual practices to keep us grounded as we expand our intuition and
consciousness. Both Neptune and Pisces, the sign it rules, tend to be dreamy,
imaginative, difficult to nail down due to their qualities of illusion and
illumination often without any way to know which is which. They represent
compassion and co-dependence, selflessness and loss of self, higher purpose and
substance abuse, in their inspiration to transcend the material plane and
experience something beyond words and thoughts. When Pluto,
the planet of transformation through a death and rebirth cycle, is retrograde,
which is about reviewing the past, and releasing anything from the past that is
a burden to our new path. Pluto in Capricorn is determined in exposing the
darkness, destroying the old order, so that we can rise up like the Phoenix
from the ashes to soar again. Capricorn is about large structures which
includes banks, governments, corporations, and religions. Pluto is in Capricorn
until 2023 where it is destroying and regenerating the structures that are the
foundation of our societies represented by Capricorn. This is a time of a
cosmic course correction for the entire planet. We cannot continue to harm
Mother Earth for the economic gain of a few. It is the resistance to Pluto's
lesson of letting go of the past, that brings tragedy and pain.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena.
August 7th and
1 – Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm: unity
experienced through recognizing the gifts in adversity in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, with Mercury conjunct Jupiter which has us looking at the larger issues in life. It helps
our comprehension by seeing the bigger perspective and incorporating new
information. This also brings more tolerance of the view points of others. This
is a time of evaluating our hopes and dreams along with our overall plans for
the future. This can be quite optimistic and particularly good for business and
commercial transactions, contract negotiations, and dealings with the law,
especially if we recognize that we get what we want by helping others fulfill
their needs. Encouragement comes naturally during this transit. We are likely
feel our communications are expensive, not only in quantity, but also in scopes
of topics. Leo's influence brings courage, bravery, and perhaps throwing
caution to the wind and jumping both feet forward into some new endeavor or
relationship. It would be best to avoid being overconfident, as this may be a
time where people over look important details under the influence of Jupiter.
Since this is followed by Mercury’s ingress into Virgo later in the day, we my
experience this as an expansive idea that flows right into industrious implementation
or at least organization and planning of what has been revealed. Also on the 7th Mercury enters Virgo the sign of
its rulership, brings out the more analytical aspects of the mind and grounded
communication. People will be more drawn to know the facts, with wanting to
explore all sides of the question before making up their minds. Sloppy
communication and thinking will find there is less tolerance when we could
think things through before we speak and articulate the practical information
with beautiful organization. We are likely to experience more activity at work
or within the workplace. Topics regarding health and service also come to the
foreground for study and research, as well as communication. This brings some
balance to all the planets in fire and water, joining Pluto in an earth sign,
allowing more grounding energy all the creativity and emotions we've been
experiencing all month. Also
on the 7th the Taurus Moon
is challenged by Venus and opposed by Saturn which shifts from pleasant energy for being with the others we
want to know better, to later people feeling
lonely and isolated.
The
8th is 2
– "ah-how" : duality
experienced through honoring the wisdom and memory of
our ancestors, while Mars enters Leo which is a better placement for the
warrior, leaving the sign of its fall. Mars will be in Leo until September 24th
emphasizing dramatic actions, competition, and heightened drive to be creative,
also energizes us to see the lighter aspects of life and be more joyful. Mars
can be more expressive and rambunctious while passing through the lion’s
domain. Personal desires get an extra boost of yearning for fulfillment. It is
best to avoid being overbearing, authoritative, and condescending under this
influence. Entertainment will receive extra energy with Mars in Leo, whether
its film, fashion, television, concerts, plays, or any other field where
showmanship is important, which includes politics, leading up to the Leo New
Moon on the 14th.
Also on the 8th the Moon is
challenged by Jupiter, Mercury, and Neptune and stimulated by Mars, which
begins as benevolent and generous
feelings for those in our immediate environment, followed by having the desire
to work independently from others, then later folks being critical in their
communications particularly with the people they have intimate relationships
with, and finally daydreams and fantasies feeling more important than reality.
August 9th is 3 – Imix
"e-meesh" or Crocodile: taking action through nurturing new beginnings, while the Gemini Moon harmonizes
with the Sun and Uranus which moves from feeling
balance between our inner and outer worlds, to later having pleasant yet restless feelings craving emotional excitement
to do something outside the daily routine.
The 10th is 4 - Ik "eek"
or Wind: stability through
communication, while the Moon harmonizes with Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury which
begins with wanting to be with friends and the people
we love, followed by feeling in the flow and having a sense of wholeness, and
finally people feeling chatty and having numerous conservations.
August 11th is 5 - Akbal "awk-bol" or Night:
empowerment through contemplating the stars, with Jupiter enters
Virgo for
a stay until September 2016. Jupiter is the traditional rulers of Pisces, which
is the opposite sign of Virgo, so Jupiter is in its detriment in the sign of
the maiden. That being said this will be an expansive time period for Virgo
topics such as details, health, organization, and service, which is where we
are likely to experience people expressing their higher self. This will also
ground the overconfidence that was present while Jupiter was in Leo. Expressing
entitlement or expecting support, while not reciprocating, will become less
tolerable in the upcoming year. Also on the 11th
the Cancer Moon finds support from Neptune, is
opposed by Pluto, and challenged by Uranus which shifts from fantasies and daydreams distracting us from
accomplishing routine tasks, followed by deep emotions rising to the surface,
and finally folks acting hasty and jumping to conclusions that may not be
correct.
The
12th is
6 – Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard: being in the flow
through planting seeds and making new
connections, while Mercury is opposed by Neptune bringing
a day of confusion, with a great deal of information coming into our minds that
we can't make any sense of. We feel a heightened sensitivity with little
ability to filter to gain clarity. Not a day to make any kind of permanent
commitment based on the experiences of the day. Over the next few days we'll
gain clarity about this download of new spiritual awareness. Folks may feel
confused, anxious, and have a lower tolerance for stress on the 12th. Also on the 12th the Moon finds support from Saturn and merges
with Mars which moves from having
a sober realistic view of life, to later experiencing irritable moods and
critical communications.
August
13th is 7 – Chicchan
"chee-chan" or Serpent: reflection through being flexible, with the Sun trine
Uranus which colors the day's energy to engage in new and different
activities that lead to self discovery and a greater understanding of the
world. This is more exciting energy than we have most days. People will be more
perceptive and able make changes with a greater understanding of the
interrelationships within their lives. Expect folk experiencing irritable moods and critical
communications
s to be more forthright in expressing themselves without trying to filter what
is expressed for the benefit of the listener. This day is good for studying
science, something technical, or occult subjects such as astrology, because it
brings the ability to find greater understanding of any discipline that reveals
new and exciting aspects of the universe. On the other hand this will be a
difficult day for just following the daily routine, so get out there and do
something you've always wanted to. It's a great day to cross something off your
"bucket list" and you'll probably gain some new self awareness in the
process. Also on the 13th the Leo Moon makes no angles which does not favor major
decisions or purchases, but is good to use for resting to assimilate this
latest round of energy and experiences.
The
14th is
8 Cimi
"key-mee" or Transformation: balance through releasing what no longer serves us, while we have the Leo New Moon. New moons are times of new beginnings and in Leo is about
shifting and changing of our creativity and having the urge to roar. This brings a surge
of new creativity through making different choices, exploring new options, and
investigating unrealized desires. This new moon is about exploring the edge,
because the familiar is no longer the preferred. New moons are times of new
beginnings and in Leo, it's about power, exuberance, creativity, enthusiasm,
and drama, which is ruled by the Sun. New
Moons bring the opportunity to set an intension for manifestation on the
following full moon. Look to the house of your astrology chart that contains 21
degrees 31 minutes Leo to consider what area of your life is being activated by
this new moon. For me that would be my third house of communication, immediate
environment, self expression, connections to family, and day to day travel, so
I would set an intension related to using this energy, such as recording the
video for the 1
- Road trecena on that day. That would fulfill the
Leo New Moon's desire for dramatic expression through the third house's role of
communication. The moon is supported by Uranus,
merges with the Sun and Venus, and is challenged by Saturn. The New Moon finding support from Uranus could have people acting on the impulse to engage in activities that make
them feel more alive. It brings excitement with the potential for folks to have
multi-dimensional experiences through the unexpected electrical energy of
Uranus saying “Awaken.” And merging with Venus feels cheerful, warm,
gregarious, and has folks wanting to go out and socialize, but also opens our
hearts to love. Given the potential for insights that way “outside the box,”
having a recording device available might be helpful to document the topics of
unexpected brain storms during the days surrounding the New Moon. Saturn
loosely squares the New Moon, which can challenge us to ground this new
direction in reality. Without commitment and work this energy could disappear,
as quickly as it appeared. Mercury trine Pluto in the chart of this lunation
empowers thinking and communication to move forward with this new beginning.
August 15th is 9 - man-eek" : patience experienced through being of service to others, with the Sun conjunct Venus
is wonderful for self expression in relationships, and a certain amount of
assertiveness to gain the attention of those we love. This is a good time to
socialize, make new contacts, friends and even possibly a new love interest.
This is also favorable for financial activities, just avoid being extravagant
or self indulgent. The negative of this is people think they are the most
fascinating and interesting person in the world, which others interpret as
being a vain fool.
Also on the 15th Mercury trine Pluto which can bring concern about the deeper issues in life.
This has people wanting to dig below the surface to uncover mysteries. On a
personal level this can be excellent for inner work, so it might be a good day
for some "alone time" to discover some of the deeper dimensions of
your psyche. Communications may seem rather serious and profound. Thoughts will
be more focused and gain insights about important developments. Also on the 15th the Moon is challenged by Saturn, merges with
Jupiter, and is opposed by Neptune which begins with people feeling lonely or isolated, followed by good
feelings and generosity towards others, and finally feeling sensitive
emotionally but confused regarding the accuracy of what's being felt.
The 16th is is 10 – Lamat "la-maught" or Star or Rabbit: manifestation through being grateful for abundant relationships, with Virgo Moon
supported by Pluto, and merging with Mercury which shifts from intense emotions and stimulating sensitivity, which also
favors sexual relationships, to later positive energy for integrating our
thoughts and moods.
August 17th is 11 – Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering: resolution through appreciating
creation, while the Moon in Virgo harmonizes with Saturn which brings realistic expectations through being calm and reflective.
The 18th is 12 - Oc
"awk" or Dog: understanding through enjoying family and friends,
while the Libra Moon is stimulated by Mars, and
challenged by Pluto which shifts from the desire to work independently from
others, to later having the compulsion to act in ways that may not be good for
us in the long run.
August 19th
is 13 -
Chuen "shoe-in" or Monkey: movement to the
next stage through creating something new, with Venus trine Uranus which wants social experiences and romantic
encounters to be outside the norm, unusual, and surprising. This is a great day
to try something out of the ordinary. The daily routine will just not cut it
under this influence. Folks are looking to do something stimulating in their
social lives and relationships. A day when there may be unique encounters and
love relationships that begin under this influence are exciting, electric,
unstable and short, but have a strong potential to change our lives. This could
also bring unconventional agreements in our relationship such as agreeing to
change from an exclusive coupling to experimenting with having other lovers.
Experiencing different types of entertainment is also favored by this transit,
by enjoying music, art, or theater that is outside your normal choices. Venus
is retrograde so this might include revisiting the energetic to break free of
limitations in our relationships and restrictive emotional patterns that we
became aware of back on the 29th of June. Also on the 19th the Moon in Libra is opposed by Uranus, and harmonizes with Venus and the Sun, which moves
from folks being emotionally excitable and impulsive, followed by having
pleasant energy to be with friends and loved ones, and finally having feelings
of inner and outer equanimity.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Storm trecena, take
some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a
sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment
through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is
a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the
performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe
the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a
human experience.
