This is the "Care and feeding
of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of June 3rd 2015 and 1 – Ix "eesh" or Jaguar in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, with Venus moving into Leo, Mercury turning direct, Neptune turning
retrograde, and retrograde Saturn backing into Scorpio
June
3rd is
1 – Ix "eesh" or Jaguar carries the themes of shamanism, earth
magic, strength and intellect, spirit of the jungles, gratitude, speed and
stealth, Mother Nature, feminine and feline energy, mysticism, and expansion of
consciousness. The Jaguar represents the primal spiritual force that inhabits
all of us. To the Maya the Jaguar’s spotted coat represents the Milky Way
Galaxy. The Maya also refer to the Milky Way the "White Boned Serpent:
Wakan Chan " and the "path in the sky to the center of the universe:
Kuxan Suum." This 13 day cycle is about exposing our dark spots to the
light and being transformed. This is a time to release fear so we can be in our
intuition and also to turn our attention and actions to taking care of our
planet and our bodies.
Before I get into the daily energy for 1 – Ix "eesh"
or Jaguar, on the 3rd all the planets appear
to be moving forward from our vantage point on Earth, except Mercury, Saturn, and
Pluto which appears to move retrograde or in
reverse motion. Remember the themes of retrograde planets are the review the
past, re-evaluate, reminisce and we can see these themes being played out. Mercury retrograde in Gemini until June 11th
would be a good time to avoid signing contracts or other legal papers, making
any major purchases, or even taking a new job. If you can postpone these types
of activities the terms will be much clearer after Mercury is moving direct.
That may seem impossible, so if you can avoid these activities a few days
before and after Mercury changing directions on the 11th, when the energy is at
its most potent, would be beneficial. Mercury retrogrades force us to slow down
and pay more attention to our lives by making us focus on the details of our
daily experience. When looking at a retrograde cycle of any of the personal or
inner planets, it provides information about a correction to our present
course. Saturn
retrograde reviews our commitments, plans, what we do for work, and structures
of our lives. This one is a little more complicated than most because Saturn
begins its apparent reverse movement in Sagittarius, but eventually backs into
the final degrees of Scorpio. Saturn retrograde is a task master that demands
we take responsibility to review, our beliefs while in Sagittarius and our
ethics while in Scorpio.
When Pluto, the planet of transformation through
a death and rebirth cycle, is retrograde, which is about reviewing the past,
and releasing anything from the past that is a burden to our new path. Pluto in
Capricorn is determined in exposing the darkness, destroying the old order, so
that we can rise up like the Phoenix from the ashes to soar again. Capricorn is
about large structures which includes banks, governments, corporations, and
religions. Pluto is in Capricorn until 2023 where it is destroying and
regenerating the structures that are the foundation of our societies
represented by Capricorn. This is a time of a cosmic course correction for the
entire planet. We cannot continue to harm Mother Earth for the economic gain of
a few. It is the resistance to Pluto's lesson of letting go of the past, that
brings tragedy and pain.
The big change in the One
Jaguar trecena is Mercury and Neptune changing directions, as Mercury turns
direct on the 11th and Neptune moves retrograde on the 12th.
Neptune in Pisces is slowing to a stop as it prepares to turn
retrograde on June 12th. When a planet is stopped it is said to be at the peak
of its power, so Neptune at the peak of its power in its own sign of Pisces
during the beginning of June is seeking transcendence through spiritual
experiences. This will be a time to use spiritual practices to keep us grounded
as we expand our intuition and consciousness. Both Neptune and Pisces, the sign
it rules, tend to be dreamy, imaginative, difficult to nail down due to their
qualities of illusion and illumination often without any way to know which is
which. They represent compassion and co-dependence, selflessness and loss of
self, higher purpose and substance abuse, in their inspiration to transcend the
material plane and experience something beyond words and thoughts. Neptune will
be in Pisces from 2011 to 2026.
Being an outer planet Neptune is retrograde
almost half the year, turning direct November 18th of 2015. Retrogrades bring a
review of the past and turn our perspective inward regarding the themes they
rule. So during the next 5 months Neptune retrograde in Pisces has us moving
deeper into our spiritual life or our avoiding such experiences. I think it's
important to keep up our foundation in the realm of spirit, as we are about to
experience Saturn square Neptune at the end of 2015 and throughout 2016, peaking
in June next year. Saturn represents structures, limitation, boundaries,
foundation, oppression, reality, the status quo... and then challenged by
Neptune which dissolves, fogs, casts a veil that obscures. We are moving toward
a time of dissolving structures, unclear foundations, limitations that seem
obscured and perhaps are no longer present, but may be lurking like a rock just
below the waves as your boat tries to navigate in the fog. This could also be
dreams (Neptune) becoming real (Saturn) through hard work and inspiration. This
could be borders between countries (Saturn) disappearing (Neptune), or becoming
blurred. Laws and responsibility (Saturn) become unclear and without compassion
for all (Neptune). Infrastructures collapse. So using the Neptune retrograde to
return to your spiritual roots will be important energy to nurture as we are
about to have two years of the challenging Saturn square Neptune dissolving the
foundations of what we’ve come to believe is solid. So finding our own peace in
our connection to spirit will be an important quality to cultivate now for the
tumultuous road ahead.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena.
June 3rd is 1 – Ix "eesh" or
Jaguar: unity experienced through
enjoying
nature in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. The Moon in Sagittarius finds
support from Uranus which brings a desire for emotional excitement to engage in activities
outside our daily routine.
The 4th is 2 – Men
"men" or Eagle: duality experienced through seeing from a higher
perspective, with the Capricorn Moon harmonizing with Neptune and merging with
Pluto, which shifts from having greater sensitivity to others' emotions with possible psychic
impressions for those who are open, to later we have more intense moods rising
to the surface from deep in our psyches.
June 5th is 3 – Cib
"keeb" or Wisdom: taking action through introspection, meditation and
forgiveness, with Venus entering Leo which brings flamboyant and dramatic effect on our romances
and social gatherings. People may be more inspired to splurge on gifts for
loved ones over the next three weeks. This lifts peoples spirits and brings
more joy and creativity to our interpersonal relationships. Venus in Leo
joining Jupiter in the sign of the lion could make these themes even more
extravagant and expansive. Also on the 5th the Moon in Capricorn is challenged by
Uranus which has folks acting hasty and
jumping to conclusions that may not be correct.
The 6th is 4 - Caban
"kah-ban" or Earth: stability through gratitude for Mother Earth,
with Venus trine Saturn bringing some reliability, stability and a clearer
perspective on our relationships. People will recognize their loved one as
human, and as long as we live up to our obligations, they will likely do the same.
Venus is also about money so this may have folks being more conservative with
their limited resources. Relationships begun under this transit tend to be
stable and sobering, more practical than romantic. Also on the 6th the
Aquarius Moon is opposed by Venus, harmonizes with Saturn, and finds support
from Mercury. The day begins with pleasant energy for enjoying sensual experiences and rich food
with a caution against overindulgence, followed by realistic expectations
through being calm and reflective, and finally being more in touch with our
feelings and able to share them with others.
June 7th is
5 - Etznab "etz-nob" or Flint: empowerment
through being introspective, with the Moon in Aquarius finding support from the
Sun and Mars, opposed by Jupiter, and stimulated by Uranus which moves from feeling a sense of inner harmony which is
mirrored in the outside world, to later having feelings of generosity, followed
by feeling a little more confident than usual with the ability to assert
ourselves in a positive manner, and finally experiencing pleasant yet restless
feelings craving emotional excitement to do something outside the daily routine.
The
8th is 6
– Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm: being in the flow
through recognizing the gifts in adversity, while the Sun
sextiles Jupiter which is very positive
for almost any activity. It brings a positive frame of mind that can be applied
toward success. This "lucky" transit influences activities to work
out as planned. Great energy to be with friends or work harmoniously in group
situations as there is a strong energy to be included in something bigger then
oneself. This is also good to reflect on our lives and goals, but it does caution
against blindly assuming everything will work out perfectly, so we might want
to review any plans for the future. With Jupiter involved it is easier to see
the big picture. This also helps in relationships with people in authority as
there is a desire to be "at one" with the sources of universal
energy, and on the most mundane level that includes the desire to get along
with those in power. Also on the 8th the Pisces Moon is challenged by Saturn
and Mercury, and merges with Neptune which shifts from people feeling lonely or isolated, followed by our
moods influencing our ability to think rationally, and finally having feelings
of empathy for those around us, including the possibility of clairvoyance and
telepathic experiences for those of us who are sensitive by nature.
June
9th is 7 - Ahau
"ah-how" or Sun: reflection
through honoring the wisdom and memory of our ancestors, with Mars sextile Uranus
which is rather impatient and restless, not great for the daily routine,
because it desires new experiences and activities. Expect people to be more
unpredictable for a day or so, this doesn't have to be disruptive if we view it
as a time to get out of a rut rather than feeling as though our expectations
are not being met. This can bring new insights, stimulating experiences, and a
new level of acceptance for people with different perspectives. Also on the 9th the
last quarter Moon in Pisces in harmony with Pluto and challenged by the Sun and
Mars which moves from having deep emotions
finding their way to the surface and felt on a profound level, followed by challenges
to following a daily routine, and finally people may be feeling irritable which
could lead to needless disputes.
The 10th is 8Mercury sextile
Venus is interesting to me, because I usually think of alignments
happening in odd numbers. 1,3,5, and rarely 7, but this alignment happens
twice, with the second occurrence on July 5th. Mercury in harmony with Venus
brings a light hearted energy to the day. This is nice for using our minds for
leisure, like reading for pleasure, going to an art show or concert, playing a
game you enjoy, or just talking with friends. This is a day where we get a
break from the heavier concerns of life. This is also excellent for
communicating our feelings to the people we love. So tell someone you love them
today. Express your appreciation and gratitude and I suspect it will come back
to you in kind. Also an excellent day to appreciate beauty, so you may want to
put yourself in a beautiful environment whether it's a home, museum, or a day
in the country. Also on the 10th the Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile: balance
through nurturing new beginnings, with Sun sextiles Uranus makes the day
more interesting, from our encounters with others being more illuminating, to
enlightened experiences while moving through our normal routine. This
stimulates our curiosity and imaginations. Folks are quick witted and
conversations are lively, but they also may be less tolerant of any
restrictions. Under this influence it's more important to be true to your
authentic individual self, than meeting other people's expectations. Also on the 10th the
Aries Moon finds support from Saturn and Venus, and harmonizes with Mercury
which shifts from having a sober realistic
view of life, followed by people feeling chatty and having numerous
conservations, and finally enjoying
pleasant feelings and social interactions.
June
11th is 9 - Ik "eek" or Wind: patience
experienced through communication, while Mercury turns
direct at 4 degrees Gemini, which will
bring forward the information that brings a new sense of our course correction
to heading in the right direction. Give Mercury a few days to build up momentum
before implementing the change that you've become aware of through the
retrograde process. Also
on the 11th the Moon in Aries is challenged by Pluto, supported by Jupiter,
merges with Uranus, and harmonizes with the Sun and Mars. The lunar influence
moves from having the compulsion to
act in ways that may not be good for us in the long run, to people having a
pleasant sense of wellbeing, followed by folks feeling impulsive and acting
rashly, with moods changing quickly and unexpectedly, then later feeling
balance between our inner and outer worlds, and finally the Moon Mars alignment
brings the desire to work independently from others.
The
12th is
10 – Akbal "awk-bol" or Night: manifestation through contemplating
the stars, while Neptune turns retrograde which
brings spirituality and creativity, but also delusions while the lord of the
sea is at the peak of his power and in the sign of Pisces, which he rules.
Neptune pushes us to transcend the physical world to connect with our higher
purpose and spiritual transformation, but also encourages escapism as some will
seek unconsciousness while others to awaken. If you have planets at 9 to 10
degrees Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces, Neptune virtually standing still
at 9 degrees 49 minutes since late April until the beginning of August could
bring confusion, inspiration, insanity, feeling drained, a longing to escape,
or any combination of these during its three months of fog. On the 12th the Sun
squares Chiron illuminating our wounds so we can consciously address what needs
to be healed. Also on the 12th the Taurus Moon is challenged by Venus which
brings pleasant energy for
being with the others we want to know better.
June 13th is 11 – Kan
"con" or Seed or Lizard: resolution through planting seeds and making
new connections, with the Moon in Taurus harmonizes with Neptune, finds support
from Pluto, and is challenged by Jupiter, which begins with being very sensitive to the moods of others,
followed by Pluto bringing out intense emotions and stimulating sensitivity,
which also favors sexual relationships, and finally Jupiter brings benevolent
and generous feelings for those in our immediate environment.
The
14th is 12 - Chicchan "chee-chan" or
Serpent: understanding through being flexible, while Saturn
retrogrades back into Scorpio
until finally moving back into Sagittarius to stay in September 2015. Themes of
Saturn in Scorpio are loss, depression, failure, fear, the shadow, betrayal,
the stuff that goes deep. Superficial just won't cut it with Saturn in Scorpio.
What we decide now will have a lasting effect. For me following my strategy and
authority from my Human Design chart has been an amazing tool in making any
decision during this time of uncertainty, where the consequences of choice will
effect years to come. Saturn takes 29 years to make a complete orbit so we're
talking several decades to fix some of these decisions. But that will be plenty
of time to really understand the repercussions of choice for good or ill. Also with Saturn in Pluto's sign of Scorpio and Pluto in
Saturn's sign of Capricorn, we have mutual reception between the two planets.
Mutual reception means that Pluto and Saturn are strengthening and supporting
each other while Saturn remains in Scorpio until September 17th. When I think
of Saturn and Pluto teaming up for the last time, the words "final karmic
judgment" come to mind. Also on the 14th the Sun conjuncts Mars bringing
great energy for starting projects, particularly one you want to work on
yourself without having to deal with group dynamics where compromise is
important. This also brings a surge of physical energy that should be channeled
into vigorous activity, otherwise it could feel very itchy and irritable when
repressed like sitting behind a desk watching your life slip away. This is
energy where the individual becomes recognized. If you have a meaningless desk
job, this is the day to take a "mental health" day and do something
creative. Also recognize other people will not know this day is to embrace
their lives not how they make a living, and will be very irritable with a
higher than usual possibility for accidents and arguments when this energy is
contained and not allowed to express itself. Also on the 14th the Gemini Moon is
opposed by Saturn and merges with Mercury which shifts from folks feeling lonely and isolated, to later positive
energy for integrating our thoughts and moods.
June 15th is 13
- Cimi "key-mee" or Transformation: movement to the next stage through
releasing what no longer serves us, with the Moon in Gemini harmonizing with
Venus and Jupiter, and challenged by Neptune. The lunar influence on the day
moves from having pleasant energy
to be with friends and loved ones, followed by daydreams and fantasies feeling
more important than reality, and finally feeling in the flow and having a sense
of wholeness.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Jaguar trecena, take
some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a
sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment
through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is
a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the
performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe
the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a
human experience.
