This
is the "Care and feeding of a New World Age" report for Gregorian
date of December
3rd 2014 for 1 - Eb
"eb" or Road in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, with Mars entering Aquarius, the Gemini Full Moon, Jupiter turning retrograde, Venus entering Capricorn and the sixth Uranus Pluto square.
December 3rd is 1
- Eb "eb" or Road which carries the themes of destiny, guidance, travel, vessel of time, dew from heaven,
abundance, organization, caretaking, empathy, growth, service to others, the
ladder that connects heaven and earth, the life-force also known as Prana in
the Vedic tradition and Chi in the Chinese culture,
harvest, and humility. Ian Lungold described Road as "sometimes referred
to as the sign of Grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms but is
also the most humble." The road of life leads us to our true destiny on
the spiritual path we all must travel. This thirteen day period would be a good
time to humbly offer to serve others.
Before I
get into the daily energy for 1 - Eb "eb" or Road
trecena, on the 3rd all the planets appear to be moving forward from our
vantage point on Earth except Uranus which
appears to move retrograde or in reverse motion. Remember the themes of
retrograde planets are the review the past, re-evaluate, reminisce and we can
see these themes being played out. Uranus in
Aries is seeking to shake our very foundation through the unexpected rebellion
of the individual. Retrograde Uranus in Aries will have people wanting to hurry
the process of getting free. To push the river of revolution whether it be
personal or political. Being an outer planet, Uranus creates events that we
"respond" to. The inner planets effect us personally as individuals,
but the outer planets change the landscape which effects us as a collective and
as individuals within humanity.
The big change during the
Road trecena is Jupiter changing directions, with
Jupiter appearing to be stopped at the opening
of Eb, prior to appearing to move retrograde or in reverse motion from the
perspective of the Earth on December 8th at 22
degrees of Leo. When a planet is stopped it is
said to be at the peak of its power. Jupiter was the king of the gods, and the
planet is about good fortune, opportunities, faith, religion, beliefs and
expansion. Leo is about leadership, creativity, drama, entertainment, and children,
so we will see these themes expanded at the beginning of December. Jupiter
entered into its retrograde shadow period on September 13, 2014 which developed
opportunities that will be reviewed when Jupiter turns retrograde on December 8th.
Mostly what I find with Jupiter retrograde, as with any retrograde cycle there
is a review of the past, and with Jupiter what gets reviewed are missed
opportunities. When Jupiter turns direct on April 7th 2015 at 12 degrees of
Leo, we will have become aware of a change in course regarding how we will
expand our opportunities for creativity and leadership. Jupiter will take a few
days to build momentum in moving reverse. In your personal life you may want to
look at 12 to 22 degrees Leo to become aware of the house that is currently
feeling Jupiter's expansive influence. For me, Jupiter is in my 3rd house of
communications, self expression, family ties and short distance travel. So this
retrograde time I may find myself reviewing my creative communication
activities and deciding what activities are worth expanding and what situations
are draining my resources with little material benefit. Time will tell.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena.
December 3rd
2014 is 1
- Eb "eb" or Road: unity
experienced through serving
your community in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, while the Taurus Moon harmonized
with Neptune and finds support from Pluto. The lunar energy moves from greater
sensitivity to others' emotions with possible psychic impressions for those who
are open, to later bringing out intense emotions and stimulating sensitivity,
which also favors sexual relationships.
The 4th is 2 -
Ben "ben" or Reed or
Corn: duality experienced through maintaining the home, while Mars enters Aquarius,
which brings more energy to the mental plane for a month and a half. Once
people are committed intellectually, actions are swift. This is the planet of
aggression in the sign of freedom. I think we'll continue to become aware of
people struggling for their individual liberation along with all forms of
oppression being challenged, through being assertive and possibly violent as
humanity feels the urge to break the bonds of restriction from governments,
religions, and corporations. During this time Mars is in Uranus' sign Aquarius
and Uranus is in Mars' sign of Aries, we have mutual reception between the two planets. This can
be seen as the planets are allies and strengthen each other, particularly when
they form an exact sextile on December 20th. I would keynote these forces as
unexpected action and aggressive upheaval, but also as assertive ingenuity and
humanitarian drive. Also on the 4th Venus
trines Jupiter, which is one of the best
transits except for its short duration, as it brings ease, grace, and pleasant
social interactions. As with any Jupiter Venus transit, this can bring laziness
and self indulgent behavior. Most will experience this as a needed break from
the "daily grind". This is great energy for social interactions, entertainment,
and amusements. Romance and financial interests are favored under this transit,
along with traveling or taking a vacation the begins at this time as it
indicates that the journey will be fun, enlightening, and rewarding. Due to the
low energy of this transit, this is not the best time to start any enterprise
that requires a great deal of energy. Also on the 4th the
Sun trines Uranus, which colors the day's energy to engage in new and
different activities that lead to self discovery and a greater understanding of
the world. This is more exciting energy than we have most days. People will be
more perceptive and able make changes with a greater understanding of the
interrelationships within their lives. Expect folks to be more forthright in
expressing themselves without trying to filter what is expressed for the
benefit of the listener. This day is good for studying science, something
technical, or occult subjects such as astrology, because it brings the ability
to find greater understanding of any discipline that reveals new and exciting
aspects of the universe. On the other hand this will be a difficult day for
just following the daily routine, so get out there and do something you've
always wanted to. It's a great day to cross something off your "bucket
list" and you'll probably gain some new self awareness in the process. Also
on the 4th the Moon in Taurus is challenged by Jupiter which brings out benevolent
and generous feelings for those in our immediate environment.
December 5th
is 3
- Ix "eesh" or Jaguar: taking action through enjoying nature, while Mercury trines Uranus.
Uranus is the higher octave planet to Mercury. Mercury being about our personal
thinking and communicating, while Uranus is about transpersonal communing with
something larger than ourselves. This is a very stimulating transit which
raises conscious awareness and brings more of a love for life, a desire to
seize the day "Carpe Deum". New ideas come quickly with solutions for
a problem that has been perplexing, somehow available under this influence,
after being unavailable in the days leading up to this time period. This energy
is looking for a break from routine to go out and do something out of the
ordinary. It favors studying a new topic, particularly astrology, science,
math, technology and the occult. Expect some electric conversations under this
influence. Also on the 5th the Moon is opposed by Saturn, finds support from
Mars, and is challenged by Neptune. The day begins with feeling lonely and
isolated, then later feeling a little more confident than usual with the
ability to assert ourselves in a positive manner, and finally daydreams and
fantasies feeling more important than reality.
The 6th is 4 -
Men "men" or Eagle:
stability through seeing
from a higher perspective, with the Gemini Full Moon opposed by Mercury and the Sun, which
underscores the theme of learning. Mercury and the Sun in Sagittarius are
seeking an education and travel to learn the truth that gives life meaning. The
Gemini Moon is curious and seeks to gather information that may have value in
the future. So you may want to seek answers to the important questions in your
life under this influence. Full moons are a time of tension as the Sun in
Sagittarius is about balancing freedom to explore through experience with
having perspective to gather information for intellectual pursuits, represented
by the Moon in Gemini. The lunation is in harmony with Uranus and Jupiter which
brings pleasant yet restless feelings craving emotional excitement to do
something outside the daily routine, and feeling in the flow and having a sense
of wholeness.
December 7th
is 5
- Cib "keeb" or Wisdom:
empowerment through introspection,
meditation and forgiveness, while the Moon is opposed by Venus and finds
support from Neptune. The days lunar influence goes from pleasant energy for
enjoying sensual experiences and rich food with a caution against
overindulgence, to later our innermost subconscious fantasies and
daydreams confusing reality, which may not be great for accomplishing much work.
The 8th is 6 -
Caban "kah-ban" or Earth:
being in the flow through gratitude
for Mother Earth, while Jupiter turns
retrograde in Leo. Retrogrades bring a time of review. Jupiter is about
opportunities, so this may begin a time when people review their missed
opportunities, particularly related to creativity or children. For some this
might be a time of thinking of a lost love with whom you considered having a
family with or some creative endeavor that has dropped by the wayside. Jupiter
retrograde also has us reviewing any expansion we have encountered since
Jupiter moved into Leo on July 16th of this year. Also on the 8th the Sun merges with Mercury which stimulates our social interactions and conversations,
particularly with people who are part of our new direction, and in Sagittarius
this could be related to travel. Also illumination comes to some of the dark
areas of our minds which brings forward information that was previously in the
shadows. This alignment emphasize an increase in conversations, although folks
are more inclined to talk than listen. Being a conjunction, this brings the
initiative to start something new, as Mercury rules commerce and the exchange
of ideas, this could be expansion that involves travel for increasing our
education. This also brings a sharpness to the thinking process and is a good
time to make plans for the future. Also on the 8th the Cancer
Moon is opposed by Pluto and challenged by Uranus which brings deep emotions
rising to the surface and folks acting hasty and jumping to conclusions that
may not be correct.
December 9th is
7
- Etznab "etz-nob" or Flint: reflection through being introspective, with the Moon
in Cancer is supported by Saturn which brings the perspective of having
a sober realistic view of life. The 10th is 8
Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm:
balance through recognizing
the gifts in adversity, while Venus
enters Capricorn, which brings caution and carefulness to love relationships
and social interactions. Capricorn brings a practicality to love. It also seeks
security in partnering which includes material comforts. Also on the 10th the Leo
Moon is opposed by Mars and supported by Uranus. The day begins with people to
be more excitable and irritable which can cause problems in our personal lives,
and wraps up with having the impulse to engage in activities that make us feel
more alive.
December 11th
is 9
-
"ah-how" : patience experienced through honoring the wisdom and memory of our ancestors, with the
Moon in Leo finds support from the Sun, and Mercury, and merges with Jupiter.
The days lunar energy moves from feeling a sense of inner
harmony which is mirrored in the outside world, to later being more in touch
with our feelings and able to share them with others, and finally having good
feelings and expressing generosity towards others.
The 12th is 10
- Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile: manifestation through nurturing new beginnings, with Mercury trine Jupiter,
is great energy for making plans for the future from an overview perspective.
This transit does influence us to take the easy way out and avoid difficult
intellectual and mental problems. Mercury supported by Jupiter is good for
business dealings and signing contracts, as we find our minds are sharper to
see opportunities that normally are overlooked. This is optimistic and promotes
positive thinking and studying subjects that deal with high level thought such
as law, philosophy, religion. Also on the 12th the Moon is challenged by
Saturn, supported by Venus, and opposed by Neptune, which begins with people feeling lonely or isolated, then
later enjoying
social interactions with others, and finally feeling sensitive emotionally but
confused regarding the accuracy of what's being felt.
December 13th is 11 - Ik "eek" or Wind: resolution through communication, while the Virgo Moon
finds support from Pluto which has us feeling on a deeper more
intense level under the influence of Pluto.
The 14th is 12 - Akbal
"awk-bol" or Night:
understanding through
contemplating the stars, with the Sun
trine Jupiter, which is one of the most positive transits
bringing enthusiasm and optimism, it can have the effect of people feeling
lazy, but I would encourage folks to use this energy to accomplish something
good for yourself. This is a day to project positive energy into the
environment that can have some influence on your affairs and accomplishing
something you desire. Some will see this as "dumb luck", but this
transit has its roots in something that was done in the recent past. This is
great energy for making changes in your life without feeling a sense of loss.
This is also good for studying something of interest to you, particularly
subjects that help us to see the world as a whole.
Also on the 14th Venus sextiles
Neptune, inspiring
creative and romantic imagination, and is very nice energy between the planet
of romantic love and her higher octave the planet of unconditional love. This
might be a time when we experience universal love through our personal
relationships. This is also very creative and imaginative energy, that seeks
and appreciates beauty. Exposure to art, music, or poetry could help renew our
consciousness during the pleasant dreamy fog of this transit. Also being in a
pleasant environment such as beautiful spot in the country, a lovely garden, or
looking at a majestic view will be very powerful during this transit. Neptune
may give us a deeper sensitivity to the feelings and needs of our loved ones,
which we are more than likely going to want to satisfy. Some may have the
feeling of a soul union with another during this alignment. This is a good day
to indulge in daydreams and fantasies. Also on the 14th the last
quarter Moon in Virgo is challenged by the Sun and Mercury, and in harmony with
Saturn, which starts with challenges to following a daily routine, then later folks
being critical in their communications particularly with the people they have
intimate relationships with, and finally having realistic expectations through
being calm and reflective.
December 15 is 13 - Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard:
movement to the next stage through planting seeds and making new connections, with
Uranus square Pluto,
which brings the sixth
of seven exact squares between Uranus and Pluto. The themes of revolution,
transformation, tension between the material and spiritual worlds, upheaval,
along with death and rebirth are particularly potent at this time. Acceleration
of transformation related to the revolution and evolution is increasing
exponentially. This is the peak of the energy for unexpected change as old
ways, old structures are crumbling to prepare us for transformation. This is one
of the undercurrents that will be most powerful during the continuing
challenging square between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn at 12 degrees
35 minutes. These challenging angles between Uranus, the planet of disruption,
revolution and unexpected change in Aries, the sign of the individual,
challenging Pluto the planet of death and destruction but also rebirth, in the
sign of Capricorn representing structures including governments and
corporations, is the most powerful transit of our time. These two titans have
exact confrontations an amazing seven times between 2012 and 2015. Usually this
type of transit occurs three or five times. Seven times is unusual and very
intense. As I've said before the world will be a very different place by the
end of 2015. When looking at the chart for the sixth Uranus Pluto square, I was
struck by Chiron, the wounded healer at 13 Degrees Pisces forming a sextile to
Pluto and semi-sextile to Uranus, so this square brings depth and intensity to
our healing, which is a wonderful transformative force for releasing old wounds
that have been an obstacle to freedom for humanity, from the decaying power
structures. These Uranus Pluto squares have made us aware of the financial and
political systems being slowly, and sometimes almost invisibly, compromised
like a sand castle as the tide is coming in. The Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius
are conjunct the degree of the center of our galaxy, bringing purpose and
higher intelligence coming in through the portal on the Galactic Center. The
Sun - Mercury - Galactic Center conjunction forms a trine with Jupiter in Leo,
barely moving as it begins its retrograde cycle. Jupiter rules Sagittarius and
the Sun rules Leo, so we have mutual reception within this very positive
supportive relationship. This indicates, with Jupiter retrograde review of past
missed opportunities and perhaps the illumination to heal or repair what was
lost. In the context of the Uranus Pluto square chart this may be experienced
as humanity demanding fairness from the leaders. The Moon 1 degree Libra
sextiles Saturn 29 degrees Scorpio, to bring emotional (Moon) balance (Libra)
when dealing with limitations (Saturn) that have until now been concealed
(Scorpio). Saturn has been in mutual reception with Pluto for several years and
on December 23rd that ends, as Saturn enters Sagittarius, which will allow
Pluto to act even more powerfully without Saturn's restriction impacting the
full force of transformation in dismantling what is no longer of service. Mars
8 degrees of Aquarius widely sextiles Uranus, another mutual reception, brining
ingenuity to the warrior archetype, with new ways to deal with those in power,
and Pluto brings covert possibilities. Venus sextile Neptune, a harmonic
alignment of planetary octaves, emphasizes the feminine power to influence
change through illumination and illusion regarding the crumbling patriarchy as
we move into a new beginning after the seventh Uranus Pluto square in March of
2015. Also on the 15th the Libra Moon is challenged by Venus and supported by
Mars, which shifts from having pleasant energy for being with the others we
want to know better, to later feeling a little more confident than usual with
the ability to assert ourselves in a positive manner.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Road trecena, take
some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a
sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment
through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is
a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the
performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe
the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a
human experience.
