This is the "Care and feeding
of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of July 10th
2016 and
1 – Caban
"kah-ban" or Earth in the Mayan Tzolkin
calendar,
with Venus
entering Leo, followed by Mercury entering Leo, the Capricorn Full Moon and the Sun entering Leo.
July 10th is 1
– Caban "kah-ban" or Earth carries
the themes of natural
rhythms, synchronizing the heart with Mother Earth, inspiration, the powers of
creation, earthquakes, ancient wisdom, and flowing with the natural order. The
Maya believed that the same energy that is the soul of the heart also resides
in the Earth. The day symbol for earth also represents the interconnectedness
of our emotions and the Earth’s emotions. Ian Lungold wrote “Sometimes Earth’s
delicate sensitivities are upset resulting in quakes of emotion even the
display of volcanic temper.” Neurophysicists have discovered that our hearts
radiate the body’s strongest electromagnetic frequency in a torus field. This
field is holographic and arcs out and returns along the axis of the heart and
extends from the pelvic floor to the crown of the head. The Earth is also the
center of a holographic electromagnetic torus field, as is the solar system and
the galaxy. It's interesting to note that because of their holographic nature,
there is the belief that there is only one universal torus field, which means
our hearts are connected to the Earth, the solar system, the galaxy, and
ultimately the universe. It’s fractal, where we don’t have a part, but the
whole represented in each of us. These thirteen days are best used to change
our patterns to be more heart centered and in balance with our Earth Mother.
Before I get into the daily energy for 1 – Caban,
on the 10th all the planets appear to be moving forward from our vantage point
on Earth, except Saturn, Chiron, Neptune, and Pluto which appears to move retrograde or in reverse
motion. Remember the themes of retrograde planets are the review the past,
re-evaluate, reminisce and we can see these themes being played out. Retrograde Saturn in Sagittarius delays success until perseverance and
patience are learned. Sagittarius themes are travel, education, adventure,
expanding our horizons, and planning for upcoming experiences. Saturn brings
the details to the grand overview of Sagittarius.
Saturn retrograde is a task master that demands we take responsibility to
review our beliefs while in Sagittarius. Chiron
retrograde has
us reviewing our wounds so that they can be released, by having the courage to
open our hearts to any fear or pain associated with our past. If you find
yourself recalling painful events or situations between now and when Chiron
turns direct November 30th, it is advisable remain conscious while dealing with
these uncomfortable feelings as they will reveal the path to healing and
letting go of what no longer serves a purpose in our upcoming journey. Neptune retrograde
is seeking transcendence through spiritual experiences. This will be a time to
use spiritual practices to keep us grounded as we expand our intuition and
consciousness. Both Neptune and Pisces, the sign it rules, tend to be dreamy,
imaginative, difficult to nail down due to their qualities of illusion and
illumination often without any way to know which is which. They represent
compassion and co-dependence, selflessness and loss of self, higher purpose and
substance abuse, in their inspiration to transcend the material plane and
experience something beyond words and thoughts. Pluto
the planet of transformation through a death and rebirth cycle, is retrograde,
which is about reviewing the past, and is a time of releasing anything from the
past that is a burden to our new path. Pluto represents death, completion, and
in Capricorn, the breakdown of structures, to bring about transformation.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena.
July
10th is
1 – Caban "kah-ban" or Earth:
unity experienced through gratitude for Mother Earth in the
Mayan Tzolkin calendar, while the Sun sextiles Jupiter
which is very positive for almost any activity.
It brings a positive frame of mind that can be applied toward success. This
"lucky" transit influences activities to work out as planned. Great
energy to be with friends or work harmoniously in group situations as there is
a strong energy to be included in something bigger then oneself. This is also
good to reflect on our lives and goals, but it does caution against blindly
assuming everything will work out perfectly, so we might want to review any
plans for the future. With Jupiter involved it is easier to see the big
picture. This also helps in relationships with people in authority as there is
a desire to be "at one" with the sources of universal energy, and on
the most mundane level that includes the desire to get along with those in
power. Also on the 10th Mercury trines Mars, which is good for mental work, with more energy than usual
and the willingness to tackle difficult problems. People will be speaking their
minds, not to get into fights, but to get their ideas out into the open. This
transit brings confidence to express beliefs without fear of letting others
know where you stand. This can also bring a certain boldness and innovativeness
to plans made at this time. This might be a good day to be aware of others'
forceful opinions, and avoid having a conflict when voicing our own opinions. Also on the 10th the
Moon in Virgo makes no
angles and is void of course until moving into Libra, which does not favor
major decisions or purchases, but is good to use for resting to assimilate this
latest round of energy and experiences.
The 11th is 2 – Etznab "etz-nob" or Flint:
duality experienced through being
introspective, while Mercury squares Uranus which
as planet octaves, brings tension between our lower and higher minds. If we can
remain flexible this can bring a fascination with new information and
experiences, but without flexibility this could be nerve wracking as surprises
and upsets become bothersome when the day does not go as planned. This could
bring some folks epiphanies or other lightening fast new information, that if
nor paid attention to, may be gone just as quick. A recording device may be a
good way to capture these thoughts for review on another day. Use this time for
brainstorming and leave analysis and adding detail for later as concentration
is difficult under this influence. Also not a great day to make important
decisions because of the impulsive and hasty nature of this energetic. Also on the 11th Mercury trine Chiron brings greater understanding of
current emotional situations, as well as past wounds and greater opportunities
for healing to occur, which will have folks being conscious of and talking
about their wounds so they can continue the healing process. Also on the 11th the
first quarter Libra Moon harmonizes with Saturn, and is challenged by Pluto and
the Sun, which shifts from wanting
to be alone in our thoughts and feelings, to later having the compulsion to act in ways that may not be good for us
in the long run,
and finally brings challenges to
following a daily routine.
July 12th is 3 – Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm:
taking action through recognizing the gifts in adversity,
while Venus enters Leo which brings flamboyant
and dramatic effect on our romances and social gatherings. People may be more
inspired to splurge on gifts for loved ones over the next three plus weeks.
This lifts peoples spirits and brings more joy and creativity to our interpersonal
relationships. Leo rules the heart. So this can be a time to connect with the
heart of our personal relationships. Also on the 12th the Moon is opposed by
Uranus, and challenged by Mercury and Venus which influences the emotional
energy as it moves from folks acting emotionally
excitable and impulsive,
followed by folks being critical in
their communications particularly with the people they have intimate
relationships with,
and finally pleasant energy for
being with the others we want to know better.
The 13th
is 4 – "ah-how" : stability through honoring the wisdom and memory of our ancestors, while Mercury enters Leo which brings two weeks of more
exuberant expression and leadership in communication. Expect that people will
express themselves with a little more drama, less sensitivity, more
stubbornness, and with a flair for humor. It would be best to avoid being
arrogant or boastful under the Leo Mercury influence. Also on the 13th the
Scorpio Moon finding support from Neptune
has our innermost subconscious fantasies and daydreams confusing reality, which
may not be great for accomplishing much work.
July
14th is
5 – Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile: empowerment through nurturing new beginnings, while the Moon in Scorpio
harmonizes with Pluto and Jupiter, finds support from the Sun, and merges with
Mars, which changes from having deep emotions finding
their way to the surface and felt on a profound level, to later feeling in the flow and having a sense of wholeness,
followed by having a sense of harmony within
ourselves and supports any type of group activity and relationships with the
opposite sex, and finally experiencing
irritable moods and critical communications.
The 15th
is 6 – Ik
"eek" or Wind: being in the flow through communication, while the Sagittarius Moon finds support from
Mercury and Venus which shifts from being more in
touch with our feelings and able to share them with others, to later enjoying pleasant feelings and social interactions.
July 16th is 7 Akbal "awk-bol"
or Night: reflection through contemplating the stars, while the Sun squares Uranus
which is a disruptive transit adding to the likelihood of upsets
and behaviors that are upsetting to others. Also unexpected mechanical
problems, a sudden argument, or separation within a relationship. With the Sun
involved we are talking about a conflict between egos. Folks will also be more
likely to feel restless, so it might be important to be conscious of this
possibility, and find a way to allow the restless energy to express itself,
rather than being shocked by how it gets expressed unconsciously. This brings
to the accident prone energy, and a time to realize those accidents are not
happening to you, you are creating them. The drive to do something free and
liberating is strong, just try to exercise enough consciousness to give it
expression without causing damage to your life. With the Sun Pluto opposition
on the 7th, we have a week of change, disruption, and transformation of our
routines and settled parts of our lives where we've become sedentary and
complacent. Also
on the 16th Mercury conjunct Venus which stimulates our appreciation of beauty, whether it be
art, poetry, music, people, or nature. Its optimistic in nature and often
brings easy going pleasant experiences. In Leo people may be more likely to dramatically
express their love for others. This is a merging of the mental and emotional
realms within ourselves, so folks may experience concepts with emotions or
express feelings in an intellectual manner. This is wonderful for creativity or
any type of artistic expression. People find the right words to express in
conversation or in writing. This transit can be favorable for financial and
business dealings, along with scientific research by seeing patterns in the
universe and appreciating them aesthetically. Also on the 16th the Sun trines Mars which is positive for being ourselves and is wonderful
energy for working alone on a project, not because we can't get along with
others, but because we will not want to compromise our vision to accommodate
the opinions of others. People feel physically vigorous when Mars positively
interacts with the Sun, so channeling this energy into physical activity is
recommended, not only for the health of the body but also for its uplifting
effect on the mind and spirit. This is a good time to look at various projects
begun in the past but not completed to assess where they are in development and
our motivations in initiating them. What can be completed soon? If there have
been recent new beginnings, are there imbalances that need adjusting? Looking at our own needs and criteria will
help us make meaningful the work we engage in at this time. Also on the 16th the
Moon in Sagittarius is challenged by Neptune and Jupiter which moves from daydreams and fantasies feeling more important
than reality,
to later benevolent and generous
feelings for those in our immediate environment.
The
17th is 8 – Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard:
balance through planting
seeds and making new connections, with the Sun trine Chiron which is helpful to
support healing, opening the heart, awakening to our transformation, and
releasing past wounds as the Sun illuminates the emotional realm to bring
understanding and wisdom. Also on the 17th Mars
trines Chiron which is supportive for taking action to heal wounds,
especially those related to sex and aggression. It brings courage to release the past
and allow healing. Also on the 17th the Sagittarius Moon finding support from
Uranus bringing the impulse to engage in activities that make us feel more
alive.
July
18th is
9 – Chicchan "chee-chan" or Serpent: patience
experienced through being flexible, while the Capricorn
Moon harmonizes with Neptune, and merges with Pluto which changes from having a
greater sensitivity to others' emotions with possible
psychic impressions for those who are open, to later we have more intense moods rising to the surface from deep
in our psyches.
The 19th is 10 – Cimi "key-mee" or Transformation: manifestation
through releasing what no longer serves us,
while we
have the Capricorn Full Moon
at 27 degrees 40 minutes, almost 28 degrees Capricorn, supported by Jupiter,
challenged by Uranus, stimulated by Mars, and opposed by the Sun in Cancer. Full moons are a time of tension as the
Sun in Cancer is about balancing security, home and family, with the Moon in
Capricorn, representing work and productivity. The
day is a mix of the high level of energy that we have in a full moon, with the themes of Jupiter
supporting feelings of inner and outer equanimity, with Uranus challenging folks
to act hasty and jump to conclusions that may not be correct, and Mars bringing
the desire to work independently from others. The Moon in Capricorn can be
depressing, with Mars and Uranus involved it could bring unexpected anger. The saving
grace of this Full Moon could be Jupiter in Virgo grounding our inner
expansion. The Capricorn Full Moon wants us to apply discipline and structure
to create something in the material world. The polarity of the Cancer Sun
illuminates our emotions and our connection to family, home, and community.
This is the Full Buck Moon to Native Americans when the buck deer grow new
antlers. Also it is known as the Full Thunder Moon because of the prevalence of
thunder storms during July. Also on the 19th Mercury trines Saturn
in the fire signs of Leo, and Sagittarius. Saturn supporting Mercury which may
bring our thoughts to more serious concerns. This brings concentration and
attention to details. This is careful energy to be methodical and painstaking.
This is good for organizing your environment or your life from a conservative
and practical perspective. Counsel from an elder is favored under this
influence or you may just want to be alone in your thoughts.
July
20th is 11 – man-eek": resolution through being
of service to others, while Venus trines Saturn brings some reliability, stability and a clearer
perspective on our relationships. People will recognize their loved one as
human, and as long as we live up to our obligations they will likely do the
same. Venus is also about money so this may have folks being more conservative
with their limited resources. Relationships begun under this transit tend to be
stable and sobering, more practical than romantic. Also on the 20th the
Aquarius Moon harmonizing with Saturn,
and opposed by Venus and Mercury which shifts from having realistic
expectations through being calm and reflective, to later pleasant energy for
enjoying sensual experiences and rich food with a caution against
overindulgence, and followed by some feeling a real conflict between feelings
and reason and others having fruitful expressions of their deeper awareness
either internally or with another.
The 21st is 12
– Lamat "la-maught" or Star
or Rabbit:
understanding through being grateful for abundant
relationships, while the Moon in Aquarius harmonizes with Uranus and is
challenged by Mars which moves from having pleasant
yet restless feelings craving emotional excitement to do something outside the
daily routine, to later people feeling
irritable which could lead to needless disputes.
July 22nd is 13
– Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering: movement to the next stage through appreciating creation, with the Sun enters Leo, which is its place of rulership, for the next month's time
we can expect more drama and creative energy. People may seem more witty,
vivacious, chatty, so expect life to turn a little more entertaining when the
sun shines on the King of the Jungle. The Sun joining Mercury and Venus we have
a pride in Leo.
Also on the 22nd the Pisces Moon is challenged by Saturn which may have people feeling lonely or isolated.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Earth trecena, take some time to be in the
flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a sunrise or sunset, communing
with the stars, being conscious of the moment through introspection, meditation
or being with someone you love. Every day is a blessing no matter what dramas
beckon to distract us. We are all giving the performance of a life time on this
world stage, just take some time to observe the play as well as act your part.
Remember you are a spiritual being having a human experience.
