This is the "Care and feeding
of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of October 11th
2015 and 1 – Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, with the Libra New Moon, and the Sun entering Scorpio.
October 11th
is 1 – Kan "con"
or Seed or Lizard
the themes of corn,
the net overflowing after the harvest, planting, ripeness, sexual maturity,
abundance to manifest, connecting with others, the lizard of fertility and
growth, germination, children and family. The seed in
the Tzolkin has
two primary representations: a huge net full of corn and the lizard, both are
symbols of fertility. This thirteen day period is excellent for planting new
intentions and other seeds.
Before I get into the daily energy for 1 – Kan "con" or Seed, on the 11th all the planets appear to be moving forward from
our vantage point on Earth, except Chiron, Uranus, and Neptune which appears to move retrograde or in
reverse motion. Remember the themes of retrograde planets are the review the
past, re-evaluate, reminisce and we can see these themes being played out. Chiron retrograde in Pisces is about releasing
stuck emotional energy, so that we can return to the natural flow of life.
Retrograde Chiron has us reviewing our wounds so that they can be released, by
having the courage to open our hearts to any fear or pain associated with our
past. When Chiron is in Pisces people are willing to sacrifice their individual
pain in hopes of finding bliss in Universal consciousness. At its worst this
can manifest as folks justifying their victimhood as some form of martyrdom.
This should be transcendence and surrender without losing ourselves in the
experience. Uranus in Aries retrograde until December 26th. Uranus seeks to
shake our very foundation through the unexpected rebellion of the individual.
Retrograde Uranus in Aries will have people wanting to hurry the process of
getting free. To push the river of revolution whether it be personal or political.
Neptune retrograde
is seeking transcendence through spiritual experiences. This will be a time to
use spiritual practices to keep us grounded as we expand our intuition and
consciousness. Both Neptune and Pisces, the sign it rules, tend to be dreamy,
imaginative, difficult to nail down due to their qualities of illusion and
illumination often without any way to know which is which. They represent
compassion and co-dependence, selflessness and loss of self, higher purpose and
substance abuse, in their inspiration to transcend the material plane and
experience something beyond words and thoughts.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena. October 11th
is Kan "con" or Seed: unity experienced
through planting seeds and making new
connections in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar,
while Jupiter trines
Pluto
which can bring very positive changes to your personal and social
relationships. This is a time when it’s easier to exert power so it’s important
to know why and for whose benefit you are making changes. The can bring
opportunities to take control of some aspect of your life, but the changes
should be motivated by something beyond your own personal ambitions. This
transit will benefit you most when you can join the interests of others with
you own. It also helps to revise and reform aspects of your life to bring about
some type of regeneration and renewal. With the planets in earth signs the more
practical the changes we intend the more likely they will be successful. Also
on the 11th the Sun opposes Uranus, which brings
a day that is quite different from the norm. This could be experienced as
restlessness in close relationships, through one or the other feeling impatient
and unwilling to put up with something, which could lead to arguments. In
business partnerships this may require a radical change due to some unexpected
new information or situation. This will be a time of surprise or upset related
to parts of yourself that have not received adequate expression in the past.
This is a time to figure out what you want, and later on figure out if it's
practical. For those that do not find conscious expression of this energy, they
may find they are more accident prone under this influence. Over all, the winds
of change are blowing us in the direction that we are now aware of, due to
Pluto's deeper perspective. Also on the 11th the
Libra Moon merges with Mercury, and harmonizes with Saturn which shifts from positive energy for integrating our thoughts and
moods, to later wanting to be alone in
our thoughts and feelings.
The
12th is
2 – Chicchan "chee-chan" or Serpent: duality experienced through being flexible, with the Libra New Moon which is
challenged
by Pluto, opposed by Uranus, and merging with the Sun. Pluto square this New
Moon can bring the compulsion to engage in activities that are not good for us
in the long run, but it can also help us to look inside and find what we want
in any situation, as long as we are honest with ourselves. Be cautious of power
struggles as people will easily slip into the role of victim or perpetrator. The
trine between Jupiter and Pluto is embedded in the New Moon chart which soften
these energies and supports making a practical expansive new beginning while
releasing the past to be transformed. Moon opposed by Uranus can make folks emotionally excitable and impulsive. Uranus also makes
us aware of the need for change, as it brings stress and tension to this
lunation. New moons are times of new beginnings and in Libra is about balance,
partnership, diplomacy, harmony, and ascetics. New Moons bring the opportunity
to set an intension for manifestation on the following full moon. Look to the
house of your astrology chart that contains 19 degrees 20 minutes Libra to
consider what area of your life is being activated by this new moon. For me it
is the fifth house of children and creativity, so I expect this cycle to
provide new information about my creative process and perhaps my relationships
with children. That would fulfill the Libra New Moon's desire for pleasantry
and beauty through the fifth house's role of creative expression.
October 13th is 3 – Cimi
"key-mee" or Transformation: taking action through releasing what no longer serves us, while Mercury sextiles
Saturn which
is great for constructive criticism that comes from being able to see what can
be improved in our surrounding environment. We are very conscious of flaws,
including our own, so we can use our critical eye to what should be changed to
bring improvement. This can be very serious in its pursuit of betterment, make
sure your honoring what is positive, so not to get overwhelmed by the many
imperfections that are in view with this transit. Older people may serve as
teachers and mentors at this time. This is nice energy for working carefully on
any mental task from a place of concentration and precision, whereas activities
that require a great scope of vision may be more difficult. This is about the
details, rather than the overall pattern. Difficulty seeing the forest for the
trees. On the heels of the New Moon this brings more focus to the mind in
moving ahead with our new beginning. Also on the 13th the Moon in Libra makes no angles and is void of
course until moving into Scorpio, which does not favor major decisions or
purchases, but is good to use for resting to assimilate this latest round of
energy and experiences.
The 14th is 4 - man-eek" : stability
through being of service to others, as the
Scorpio Moon harmonizes with Venus, Mars, Pluto, and Jupiter, and finds support
from Neptune. This brings a very busy day of emotional energy that begins with having pleasant energy to be with friends and loved ones,
then having fantasies and daydreams distracting us from accomplishing routine
tasks, followed by the desire to work independently from others, later experiencing
deep emotions on a profound level, and finally feeling in the flow and having a
sense of wholeness.
October 15th is 5 - Lamat "la-maught" or Star or Rabbit: empowerment through being grateful for abundant relationships, while Mars
trines Pluto
which is a supportive connection between the traditional and modern rulers of
Scorpio and an alignment between planet octaves. Mars representing our desires
and personal will and Pluto is the transcendent will of the Universe and the
empowerment of the authentic self. A trine between Mars
and Pluto is good for making changes in our lives and to become more effective
in changing the world around us. This can stimulate peoples' ambitions without
others feeling threatened. With Pluto involved the Martian ego gets sublimated,
so our efforts should be for the greater good or we will sow the seeds of our
own self undoing. This transit helps support our confidence and strength from
within. Also on the 15th the Moon
in Scorpio makes no angles and is Void of course for the entire day which is
about enjoying social interactions with others while avoiding major decisions
or purchases, but is good to use for resting to assimilate this latest round of
energy and experiences.
The 16th is 6 – Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering: being in
the flow through appreciating creation, with Venus
opposes Neptune.
Venus in tension with Neptune can
be unrealistic with regards to love which can lead to disappointment. Folks are
more likely to picture themselves as the unselfish and giving person in the
relationship who makes all the sacrifices for their partner's betterment. This
can bring out manipulative behavior to gain control over the other using guilt
and obligation. On a higher level, these are planet octaves, so we might find
tension between our personal love and our experience of unconditional universal
love, or we may find personal love and universal love are different facets of
the same love. This can allow the imagination to flow in creative projects. This
also brings the danger of being deceived in relationship. This is not a good
transit to begin a relationship, personal or business, as access to the reality
of relationships is distorted and will take time before viewing the
relationship as on solid ground. It can also produce wonderful romantic
experiences, but don't expect them to last forever. Also on the 16th the
Sagittarius Moon merges with Saturn, harmonizes with Mercury, and is challenged
by Venus and Neptune, which moves from wanting to be alone in our thoughts and feelings, followed by people
feeling chatty and having numerous conservations, and finally having pleasant energy to be with friends and
loved ones, while also having daydreams and fantasies feeling more important
than reality.
October 17th is 7 – Oc "awk" or Dog:
reflection through enjoying family and friends, while Mars
conjuncts Jupiter
which assertively opens doors
associated with expanding connections particularly related to health and
service. This is very good energy both physically and psychologically. It's
very optimistic and expansive. It brings confidence and energy to continue what
was begun. The only caution I see for this transit is to avoid being arrogant,
domineering or being excessive, as those are the negative aspects of the day.
Mostly this is very positive and promotes future growth. Also on the 17th the
Moon in Sagittarius is challenged by Mars and Jupiter, and supported by Uranus
which shifts from the potential for people
to be irritable and have needless disputes, followed by benevolent and generous feelings for those in
our immediate environment, and finally having
the impulse to engage in activities that make us feel more alive.
The
18th is
8 Chuen "shoe-in" or Monkey:
balance through creating something new, while the Sagittarius Moon
harmonizes with the Sun which brings feelings of balance between our inner and outer worlds.
October 19th is 9 – Eb
"eb" or Road: patience experienced through serving your community, with the Capricorn Moon in harmony
with Neptune, challenged by Mercury, supported by Venus, Jupiter and Mars, and
merging with Pluto. This is a busy day of emotional stimulation that moves from
being very sensitive to the moods of others, followed
by our moods influencing our ability to think rationally, then enjoying pleasant feelings and social
interactions, later we have more intense moods rising to the surface from deep
in our psyches, followed by people having a pleasant sense of wellbeing, and
finally feeling a little more confident than usual with the ability to assert
ourselves in a positive manner.
The 20th is 10 – Ben "ben" or Reed or Corn: manifestation through maintaining the home, while the first quarter Moon in
Capricorn is challenged by Uranus and the Sun which moves from folks acting hasty and jumping to conclusions that may not
be correct, then later to encountering challenges to our daily routines.
October 21st is 11 – Ix "eesh" or Jaguar: resolution through enjoying
nature, when the Aquarius Moon harmonizes with Saturn,
and finds support from Mercury which begins with realistic expectations through
being calm and reflective, and later shifts to being more in touch with our
feelings and able to share them with others.
The 22nd is 12 - Men
"men" or Eagle: understanding through seeing from a higher perspective, while Mercury
squares Pluto
which may have folks obsessing about some thought
or idea, so it's important in conversations to be open to others' view points
and not be forceful in getting others to agree with our beliefs. This may be a time
where we experience one thought that dominates the day and leaves little room
for anything else. This energy can easily provoke
arguments over things that won't seem important in a few days. If you use this
energy to explore your inner world, it can bring light to something that was
hidden in the depths of our psyches. Great energy for studying subjects that
deal with covert or hidden aspects, such as psychology, magic, or the occult,
as well as meditation or yoga, to unveil other possibilities of human potential. Also
on the 22nd the Moon in Aquarius is stimulated by Uranus which brings pleasant yet restless feelings craving emotional
excitement to do something outside the daily routine.
October 23rd is 13
– Cib "keeb"
or Wisdom: movement to the next stage through introspection, meditation and forgiveness, while the Sun enters Scorpio, bringing us into the peak of the
season which is often keynoted as intensity and passion in this fixed water
sign. The scorpion is known for endurance, and drive, but also for seeking to
find a deeper purpose in life. Of course Halloween and its origin in the pagan
holiday Samhain, are about seeing through the veil into the otherworld, mark
the midpoint of Scorpio. For the next month the Sun casts more light on
subjects such as death, rebirth, transformation, sex, regeneration, introspection,
psychic experiences, anything that delves below the surface to explore the
depths and mysteries, when transiting Scorpio. Also on the 23rd Venus trines Pluto which
is a day when we might hear from or contemplate contacting a former lover. With
Pluto involved this intensifies our emotional expression, as emotions come to
the surface that can now be meaningfully expressed to your loved ones. This
alignment deepens our emotions and can make relationships intense. It's quite
likely people will feel love more strongly under this transit and express those
feelings to the object of their affection. Sexual desires also increase under
the Venus Pluto connection. This is not an intellectual experience, but rather
love expressed through body, and emotions. This transit can produce profound
insights that reveal the inner workings of our relationships. Beginning a
relationship during this transit indicates that the connection will feel quite
intense as if being drawn together by some magical power. This can be a good relationship
as long as the couple recognizes that the compulsive quality will wear off
before the pairing solidifies into a long term relationship. This transit is
great for artistic work because the emotional intensity characteristic can be
harnessed in work that reveals the inner depth of the artist's soul. Also on the 23rd Mars opposes Chiron which
brings up old wounds related to sex and aggression, so they can be released and
healing can occur. Also
on the 23rd the Moon finds support from the Sun, is challenged by Saturn,
merges with Neptune, is in harmony with Pluto,
which begins with feeling a sense of inner harmony which is mirrored in the
outside world, followed by people feeling lonely or isolated, then later having
feelings of empathy for those around us, including the possibility of
clairvoyance and telepathic experiences for those of us who are sensitive by
nature, and finally having deep emotions finding their way to the surface and
felt on a profound level.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Seed trecena, take
some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a
sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment
through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is
a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the
performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe
the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a
human experience.
