This is the "Care and feeding
of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of September 17th 2013 for 1 - Oc "awk" or Dog in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, also the Pisces Full Moon,
Pluto turning direct, and Mercury moving into Scorpio.
September
17th is
1 - Oc "awk" or Dog which carries the themes
of loyalty, playfulness, sensuality, team work,
protection, generosity, warm-heartedness, guidance, commitment, justice,
fidelity, consistency, family and friends, and the faithful companion during
times of darkness. William and Viola of tzolkincalendar.com
write "The Yucatec Mayan name for this sign literally means door, portal
or gateway and symbolizes the journey we all make from one world to the other,
not only in death but also as we transform inwardly and rebirth ourselves. Thus
Dog, as our Underworld companion and guide through darkness, represents faith
and loyalty surviving even after death." I found that dogs seem to be
associated with the afterlife across cultures where the dead were buried. I
think that might be because they were scavengers who would dig up graves and
when they consumed the corpse they were considered to ingest the soul as well
as the flesh of the dead. Anubis was the jackal-headed god of the afterlife in
ancient Greece, also portrayed as a black dog. The Greeks and Romans associated
Anubis with star Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, known in most
mythologies throughout the world as the 'Dog Star'. Cerberus is the
three-headed dog who guards the gates of Hades by allowing people to enter but
not leave. The three heads may represent the past, present and future, or
youth, adulthood, and old age. In ancient Irish mythology references to dogs
are numerous which means they were an important symbol to Celts. The dogs were
also magical and could heal people by licking their wounds. In Norse mythology
the world of the dead is overseen by a monstrous dog, named Garm. In Hinduism
and Buddhism there are two dogs, with four eyes each, which accompany Yama, the
lord of the dead. They served Yama by looking out for those who are about to
die. In Aztec mythology, the departed soul descends to the underworld after
death and comes to a river guarded by a yellow dog. Guardian hounds occur
widely in shamanic Otherworldly lore. Archaeological evidence and mythology has
recurring examples of dogs in the role of 'psycopomps', the guides on the paths
to the Otherworld, which is the role they play in Mayan mythology as guides who
bare torches to assist humans in their descent into the dark underworld. This
Dog trecena or 13 day period is a great time to use faith and courage to
illuminate any dark areas in our lives and share our warmhearted guidance to
assist others through the door that leads to the light. I love the synchronicity of the Dog trecena, when our most
important astrological discussion will be about Pluto.
I've included the Human Design transits for the trecena,
along with the astrology and Tzolkin day signs. I'll quickly review some of
that information before discussing the Neutrino Forecast for the current 1 - Dog 13 day period. We start by looking at the position of the Sun, Earth, Moon, Planets, and Nodes
as we would in astrology, except instead of relating them to the Zodialogical
constellations and each other, we look at them in relation to the hexagrams of
the I'Ching, which are then mapped to specific locations in the body graph. For instance at the beginning of this
trecena we have the Sun in Virgo
also in the 6th hexagram. The shapes inside the body graph are called
centers and represent the next stage in our evolution as humans from having
seven chakras to having nine centers. The pathways between the centers are
called channels and are from the Kabala. The Sun in the 6th hexagram is mapped
to an opening in an energy channel called a gate, and which is the 6th gate of "friction", located on the left
side of the solar plexus in a defensive tribal
energy path called the "Channel of Mating". I have found HD to be
amazingly accurate and my primary tool when I provide readings. The black
strips of paper in this diagram represent the gates activated by the Sun,
Planets, and Nodes regardless if they form a channel. So we have the following
hanging gates or potentials at the beginning of this 1 - Dog trecena; the Sun
in the 6, the Earth in the
36, the North node in the 44 and South Node in the 24, Mercury in the 48, Venus in the 28,
Mars in the 33, Jupiter in the 53, Saturn in the 44,
Uranus in the 21, Neptune in the 55, and Pluto in the 58.
Obviously not every gate activation forms a channel, but this information can
be very helpful if you know your own Human Design chart, because some of these
transits will form channels with potentials in your personal body graph. You
can get your HD chart by going to jovianarchive.com, clicking on the button
that says "Get your free Rave Chart", and entering your birth
information. I'm not going to follow the moon with this demonstration, because
it moves so fast that it activates three to four gates a day.
On the 26th the Sun moves into the 18 and
with Pluto in the 58, we have the Channel of Judgment
which is the design of Insatiability, which will be with us until October 2nd,
bringing us the pressure to offer constructive criticism. This conditioning force
works best if it is invited and its purpose is not personal but for the good of
the collective. This can influence us to become perfectionists with an
insatiability to make improvements. Unfortunately most people will not be aware
of this influence and how best to apply it to their lives, so we'll see a lot
of folks meeting resistance as they try to change their family and friends with
little success, which leads to a sense of dissatisfaction, after all true
perfection does not exist, only ascending levels of mastery.
Before I get into the daily energy of the Oc
"awk" or Dog , All the planets
appear to move forward from our vantage point on Earth except Chiron, Uranus, Neptune
and Pluto which appear to move retrograde or in
reverse motion. I've discussed in depth the implications of these planets
moving retrograde in the past reports, so I'll just keynote each one. Retrograde
Chiron has us reviewing our wounds so that they can be released, by having the
courage to open our hearts to any fear or pain associated with our past.
Retrograde Uranus in Aries is seeking to shake
our very foundation to shock us to awaken and forces us to embrace our new way
of living through reversals and unexpected events. Retrograde Neptune in Pisces is seeking transcendence through
spiritual practices to keep us grounded as we expand our intuition and
consciousness, while we are in the middle of four years of the unexpected
rebellion of the individual (Uranus in Aries)
challenging the decaying power structure (Pluto in
Capricorn). With Pluto, the planet of
transformation through a death and rebirth cycle, moving retrograde, which is about
reviewing the past, and will require releasing anything from the past that is a
burden to our new path.
The big change in the Dog trecena is Pluto changing directions, as it moves from retrograde to direct on September 20th. Pluto, the planet of transformation through a death and rebirth cycle, has been retrograde since April, which is about reviewing the past, and required releasing anything from the past that is a burden to our new path. Pluto will take our baggage regardless of our attachment, if it doesn't have a purpose in our rebirth. What I find interesting about the astrology of September is Pluto in Capricorn slows to a stop and begins its forward or direct motion on the 20th. Planets are said to be at the peak of their power when they are stopped. Pluto rules power and the misuse of power. So I expect issues regarding the misuse of power will become more public after Pluto is moving direct. U.S. President Obama has certainly been dancing around use and probable misuse of power regarding drone attacks worldwide, and military action in Syria. Hard to imagine that he was given the Nobel Peace Prize, I think they should have it returned because Obama has done nothing to further peace, if anything he's done the opposite.
Pluto moved into Capricorn in 2008 which was the point when the overly optimistic investments of Pluto in Sagittarius started to crash. Pluto in Capricorn is determined in exposing the darkness, destroying the old order, so that we can rise up like the Phoenix from the ashes to soar again. Pluto will be in Capricorn until 2024, and early in its transit through a sign there is a breakdown phase, where something that no longer serves us is dismantled to create space for something new. Capricorn is about large structures which includes banks, governments, corporations, and religions. This is a time of a cosmic course correction for the entire planet. We cannot continue to harm Mother Earth for the economic gain of a few. Pluto is about power and empowerment which I believe is about our spiritual evolution from being conditioned to live in fear of not getting our needs met, like too many rats in a maze, to realizing there is enough for all, we don't need to fight each other. We have been sold, and at a high price I might add, the concept of "manufactured lack." It is the resistance to Pluto's lesson of letting go of the past, that brings tragedy and pain. Capricorn is about building and achievement and as an earth sign it's rooted in the material world. The goat climbing the highest mountains is its symbol. Pluto rules the underworld so look for events from underground such as earthquakes, volcanoes, and giant sink holes, and events involving tunnels or subways, and infrastructures in general, but also battles for underground resources, such as oil and fracking. Here in Maine we are battling the Nestle corporation as their subsidiary Poland Springs is taking legal action against the locals over water rights, as they drain the aquifer for profit, while people's wells are going dry. Capricorn is also about the elderly and in the U.S. we have a political battle over social security, which was paid for by people's payroll deductions and has nothing to do with the national debt, but because our government borrowed from social security and has no way to pay it back, they want to dismantle this life line for our seniors.
Pluto was last in Capricorn from 1762 to 1778 where it transformed political and economic structures all over the world, from the end of the Seven Years War when France ceded Canada to Britain, to political unrest in Europe and her Colonies which brought changes to many nations. Catherine the Great came to power after the murder of her husband and went to war with the Ottoman Empire which yielded Russian control of Turkish territories. Poland was divided into three sections owned by Austria, Prussia, and Russia. British Parliament passed the Stamp Act to pay for the cost to quell the Colonial rebellion which than escalated into the American Revolution. That sounds familiar, increasing taxes to maintain control of an oppressed population, resulting in the overthrow of the oppressor. It couldn't happen again... or could it with Pluto in Capricorn. I'm thinking about current events related to the previous Pluto cycles during the first American Revolution the colonists were against "Taxation without representation", but isn't that what we have now in the USA? Our elected officials do not represent their constituents and are rather in the pockets of multinational corporations. Our president is prepared to use our tax dollars to go to war with Syria based on made up information regarding who used chemical weapons. The Syrian government was winning its conflict with the rebels, so they had no reason to use chemical weapons and invite the international community to intervene. This certainly seems like the US government is packaging a story to try to make going to war seem legitimate. Remember the WMD in Iraq?
The parallels between Britain during the previous Pluto in Capricorn from 1762 to 1778 and the United States currently are significant. Britain was deeply in debt after the Seven Years War, which occurred while Pluto was in Sagittarius. They had colonized many countries and needed revenue from their subjects, both at home and aboard. The British Empire was spread thin to maintain their global territory. One of the sources of income from outside of England came from the East India Trading Company, which is remembered for trading in tea, although their main commodity was opium, which was grown in India, using forced labor, and sold to China. The ships then return to England with China black tea for the wealthy. The British Government publically condemned the trade of opium, but secretly supported the practice because of the revenue it produced. The East India Company also provided ships for the slave trade. The parallels between Britain during the last Pluto in Capricorn period and the United States during this time of Pluto in Capricorn are uncanny. Both nations increased the lands under their charge through wars that had plunged them into debt. They then seek to recover their lost fortune through unfair and oppressive actions, allowing companies to be become so large they can run other countries, as the East India Company ran India during that time period. Eventually this leads to the oppressed masses saying "enough is enough", which led to the American Revolution last time.
The previous Pluto in Capricorn time period was 1516 to 1533 which was the time period when exploration of the New World yielded the colonies, but also the anti-Catholic movement with Martin Luther nailing his thesis to the church door in 1517. So this could also bring forward more of the misuses of power by the Catholic church.
This time of Pluto at the peak of power, has it moving aggressively towards its fourth of seven challenging squares to Uranus in Aries, which will be exact on November 1st at 9 degrees, followed by the Heliocentric square November 23rd. These challenging angles between Uranus, the planet of disruption, revolution and unexpected change in Aries, the sign of the individual, challenging Pluto the planet of death and destruction but also rebirth, in the sign of Capricorn representing structures including governments and corporations, is the most powerful transit of our time. These two titans have exact confrontations an amazing seven times between 2012 and 2015. Usually this type of transit occurs three or five times. Seven times is unusual and very intense. The world will be a very different place by the end of 2015. The day following Pluto moving direct it will engage in its third and final sextile with Saturn. The themes of Saturn in Scorpio are loss, depression, failure, fear, the shadow, betrayal, the stuff that goes deep. Superficial just won't cut it with Saturn in Scorpio. What we decide now will have a lasting effect. For me following my strategy and authority from my Human Design chart has been an amazing tool in making any decision during this time of uncertainty, where the consequences of choice will effect years to come.
Also with Saturn in Pluto's sign of Scorpio and Pluto in Saturn's sign of Capricorn, we have mutual reception between the two planets. Mutual reception means that Pluto and Saturn are strengthening and supporting each other while Saturn remains in Scorpio. That's the next three years. When I think of Saturn and Pluto teaming up the words "karmic judgment" come to mind. When these planets are at a sixty degree harmonic sextile will be the peak of this experience, which means that this will be a strong force in the Equinox chart and influence the entire upcoming season, where we reap what we've sown during this time of harvest.
Ok
let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena. September 17th
2013 is 1 - Oc "awk" or Dog: unity experienced
through enjoying family and friends, as Mercury sextiles Mars which brings a busy day with
folks having more energy than usual for their own projects. This is a day where
working for someone else's benefit does not inspire diligence but more likely
resentment. If you can use the day to work on what's of interest to you, it
will seem like a good use of all this energy. Since others are feeling the same
way, plan on working independently of others. There is energy for convincing
others of your point of view, but they also have the energy to convince you of
their perspective. This might be a day to avoid people and conversations that
could lead to arguments, because this has a competitive edge to it. We can be
confident in our ideas and beliefs to initiate something that should be
successful as long as we don't need others to bring it to fruition, with the Pisces
Moon merging with Neptune and supported by Venus. The day moves from feelings
of empathy for those around us, including the possibility of clairvoyance and
telepathic experiences for those of us who are sensitive by nature, to enjoying
pleasant feelings and social interactions. The 18th is 2 - Chuen
"shoe-in" or Monkey: duality experienced through creating something new, Venus conjuncts Saturn in Scorpio
on the North Node and sextiles Pluto in Capricorn bringing
an atmosphere of passion, intensity, and expression with less filtering, be
careful not to say things you will regret later. Specifically Venus merging
with Saturn, love and affection are tempered by practical considerations. This
can have a sobering view point regarding relationships. Folks may seek the
advice of older people (Saturn and Capricorn) regarding relationships (Venus).
Saturn is also limitation so this may be a time of parting temporarily or
breaking up. Relationships that begin under this influence are long lasting and
loyal, but not particularly exciting. Venus in harmony with Pluto combines love
and death, so this could be a time where we hear from an ex-lover or have the
desire to contact a partner from our past. This transit deepens our emotions
and brings more focus on our friendships. It also intensifies love
relationships and can take sexual experiences to a whole new level. A new
relationship may feel "fated" but that could be an illusion that
accompanies this transit, and the Moon in Pisces finds support from Saturn and
Jupiter, and harmonizes with Pluto. The day moves from having a sober realistic
view of life, while experiencing deep emotions on a profound level, and later
people having a pleasant sense of wellbeing. September 19th is 3 - Eb
"eb" or Road: taking action through serving your community, we have the Pisces Full moon as a more gentle full moon, although there are some very
powerful planetary alignments on the days surrounding this lunation. Pisces
represents the surrender to spirit in the emotional realm to be balanced with
the practical aspects of living in the physical world. This is the harvest moon
which leads to simplicity and attunement to what really matters. Are you happy
with the results you have sown over the past six months? Mercury squares Jupiter on the 19th which usually
brings feelings of optimism and positive perspective regarding life. People are
inclined to set long range plans and goals for the future, from a place of
seeing the big picture. This is also favorable for business deals and commercial
transactions. If you are unaware of this transit you could overlook details
that are important to the creation of your overall grand vision. Also be
careful about communicating to others in a way that may be seen as arrogant or
self righteous in tone. Awareness is key to working with this energy. Don't let
this much optimism lead to sloppiness and overlooking important details, the
Sun in Virgo during this full moon will help keep this grounded. The
20th is 4 - Ben
"ben" or Reed
or Corn: stability through maintaining
the home, as Pluto turns direct which slowly shifts
the energy of the planet of death, rebirth and transformation from our inner
experience during the retrograde period, to the outer world as it continues to
destroy the decaying Capricorn structures of government, big business, and big
religion. This has Pluto moving towards its next confrontation with Uranus on
November 1st for their 4th of 7 squares, which will be a dramatic time as the
resistance of the old forms continues to collapse in its conflict with those
seeking individual liberty. Pluto is
affecting many of us as it changes directions at 9 degrees of Capricorn, which
is a time of increasing intensity and force, when superficiality will not be
enough.
This will be particularly intense for people with personal planets at 9 degrees
of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn.
Pluto is at the peak of its power, due to its lack of movement as it
changes directions with the mutual reception of Saturn in Pluto's sign Scorpio
and Pluto in Saturn's sign Capricorn on the following day for its third and
final installment of karmic judgment. This can be destructive energy that needs
to fulfill its purpose as transformation. It's really best to hold lightly and
let go if needed. Surrender that which has out lived its purpose, as the Aries Moon challenged by Pluto and Jupiter, merges
with Uranus, finding support from Mars, and opposing Mercury. Which
begins the day with people having the compulsion to act in ways that may not be
good for us in the long run, then feeling impulsive and acting rashly, with
moods changing quickly and unexpectedly, to later bringing the energy for asserting ourselves in a positive manner and standing our
ground if necessary, which shifts to benevolent and generous feelings for those
in our immediate environment, and wraps up with some feeling a real conflict
between feelings and reason and others having fruitful expressions of their
deeper awareness either internally or with another. September 21st is 5 - Ix
"eesh" or Jaguar: empowerment through enjoying
nature, as Saturn sextile Pluto brings the final harmony of these planets
in mutual reception. They work as a team under this alignment of being in each
other's signs. We reap what we've sown during the middle of September. This
alignment is very strong in the equinox chart on the following day, so this
will be a theme until the solstice in December, with the Moon in Aries making
no angles and void of course until moving into Taurus, which does not favor
major decisions or purchases, but is good to use for resting to assimilate this
latest round of energy and experiences. The 22nd is 6 - Men "men" – Eagle:
being in the flow through seeing from a
higher perspective, brings the Equinox,
beginning Autumn in the North and Spring in the South, as the Sun moves into Libra which is the sign of the Sun's
fall which means that it is debilitated
in the sign of the scales. It is positive for expressing the attributes of
Venus and Saturn, but challenged for integrating the process of individuation
which is the energetic of the Sun and Mars. Equinox
and solstices astrology charts give us insight to the coming season and this
one with the Saturn Pluto sextile in tight aspect, we are looking at the time period
leading up to the Solstice on 12/21/13. North of the Equator it is time to
review the intentions we planted during the Spring Equinox. South of the
Equator this is time to plant new intentions for the upcoming year. Those of
you in the southern hemisphere might want to view the 1 – Lamat or Star
"Care and feeding of a New World Age" from March 19th 2013 for
instructions regarding a Spring Equinox ritual for manifesting intensions over
the four seasons. As I've said before the Saturn Pluto mutual reception and
sextile is very strong to the Equinox chart, being exact the day before. But
the quality of "Karmic Judgment" is made even stronger because Saturn
is conjunct Venus and the North Node opposing the Moon conjunct the South Node.
The Nodes are about karma and the karma of this configuration is about
limitations (Saturn) related to what we value (Venus) pulling us to move into
future (North Node) while the Moon in Taurus (emotions connected to
materialism) are anchoring us into the past (South Node) and of course Pluto
sextiles the Scorpio end of this axis and trines the Taurus Moon and South
Node. The tension of the spiritual material duality has huge transformational
possibilities. Chiron, the wounded healer, is in Pisces sextiling the Moon and
trining Venus and Saturn, which reveals that the next three months will bring
new wounds and new healing. Mars squares Saturn and Venus, which is challenged
for moving forward with aggressive actions. This is not a favorable time to
begin a war that you intend to win. Mercury square Jupiter may bring over
exuberance in thinking without considering the details. Perfect for playing
mind games on the populace. I could see the government trying to "pull the
wool over our eyes" with grandiose promises, to enter a war which the
global elite knows will not be successful, but will sell huge amounts of
weapons and line the pockets of the military industrial complex corporations.
On the 22nd the Taurus Moon is in harmony with Neptune, supported by Pluto, and
opposed by Saturn and Venus, which moves from being very sensitive to the moods
of others, to later bringing out intense emotions and stimulating sensitivity,
which also favors sexual relationships, while also feeling lonely and isolated
and finally pleasant energy for enjoying sensual
experiences and rich food with a caution against overindulgence. September 23rd is 7
- Cib "keeb" or Wisdom: reflection through
introspection, meditation and
forgiveness,
with the Moon in Taurus challenged by Mars, and in harmony with Jupiter very
early in the day and turns void of course at 3:13 am EDT. The day's energy
begins with people feeling irritable which could lead to needless disputes,
then shifts to feeling in the flow and having a sense of wholeness, then enters
its phase where you may want to avoid major decisions and purchases. The 24th is
8 Caban "kah-ban" or Earth:
balance through gratitude for Mother Earth, while the Gemini
Moon is supported by the Sun, and challenged by Neptune. The day moves from
having a sense of inner harmony which is mirrored in the outside world, to
daydreams and fantasies feeling more important than reality. September 25th is
9 - Etznab "etz-nob" or Flint: patience
experienced through being introspective, as the Moon in Gemini is stimulated by Uranus and Mars
which shifts from pleasant yet restless energy that desires emotional
excitement, to later bringing the desire to work independently from others. The
26th is 10 - Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm:
manifestation through recognizing the gifts in adversity,
with Venus trine Jupiter which is one of the best transits
except for its short duration, as it brings ease, grace, and pleasant social
interactions. As with any Jupiter Venus transit, this can bring laziness and
self indulgent behavior. Most will experience this as a needed break from the
"daily grind." This is great energy for social interactions,
entertainment, and amusements. Romance and financial interests are favored
under this transit, along with traveling or taking a vacation that begins at
this time as it indicates that the journey will be fun, enlightening, and
rewarding. Due to the low energy of this transit, this is not the best time to
start any enterprise that requires a great deal of energy,
with the Last Quarter Moon supported by Mercury and Neptune and challenged by
Sun, which moves from feeling in touch with our emotions and expressing them to
others, then our innermost subconscious fantasies and daydreams confusing
reality, which may not be great for accomplishing much work, and finally we
encounter challenges to our daily routines. September 27th is 11 -
"ah-how"
: resolution through honoring the wisdom and memory of our ancestors, as the Cancer Moon is
opposed by Pluto, finding support from Saturn, and challenged by Uranus, which
brings deep emotions rising to the surface, while we then settle into a more
sober and realistic view of life, and later people are likely to act hasty and
jump to conclusions. The 28th is 12 - Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile: understanding
through nurturing new beginnings, as Venus squares Mars which arouses interest in the
opposite sex and favors the physical expressions of relationships, particularly
sexual experiences. If there are hidden tensions in a relationship this transit
may bring discord. If the relationship is healthy this is not likely to be
difficult. It really can divide relationships into two categories depending on
the strength of the coupling, those whose love is the most powerful aspect
between lovers will be able to enjoy this time in any way they choose, but for
relationships built on shaky grounds this would indicate arguments as the ego
nature of the pair is tested. Not the best day to start a relationship since
its likely to be based only on physical attraction,
with the Moon in Cancer merging with Jupiter and supported by Venus, brings a
day with good feelings and generosity towards others, and enjoying social
interactions with others. September
29th is 13 - Ik "eek" or Wind: movement to the next stage through communication, as Mercury moves into
Scorpio which, due to turning retrograde, will spend almost 10 weeks in
the sign of the scorpion, bringing even more focus on the element of water
during the Chinese year of the Water Snake. Mercury in Scorpio is very similar
to the energetic of the Water Snake which is a thinking energy that reveals
what is hidden and does not settle for mediocrity. Mercury in Scorpio brings a
questioning and probing intellect, that seeks out what is beneath the surface,
and puts an emphasis on fields like medicine, science, religion, and the
occult. So under this influence folks may feel a greater need to investigate
and uncover what previously could not be known. September ends and we move into
October seeking greater depth both in our understanding of the outer world, but
also in our discovery of inner realms through our experience of our soul's high
adventure by being both an observer and participant in life, with the
Moon challenged by Mercury and Saturn, and harmonizing with the Sun, which
moves from folks being critical in their communications particularly with the
people they have intimate relationships with, to feeling balance between our
inner and outer worlds, and finally to people feeling
lonely or isolated.
So no matter what energies are affecting
you during this 1 Dog trecena, take some time to be in the flow of the planet
by being in nature, watching a sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars,
being conscious of the moment through introspection, meditation or being with
someone you love. Every day is a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to
distract us. We are all giving the performance of a life time on this world
stage, just take some time to observe the play as well as act your part.
Remember you are a spiritual being having a human experience.
