June
18th 2013 is 1 – Cauac "cow-ack" which carries the themes of rain,
wind, lightning, giver of life, the cycles of the moon, the feminine, the
warmth of home while inclement weather rages outside, purification, nourishment, compassion, emotions, seeing
challenges as blessings, healing through the release of ego, clouds pregnant
with rain followed by a flash of lightning and the release of the storm that
cleanses the earth to prepare for new consciousness. This thirteen day period
would be an important time to focus on what is truly important in life and hold
loosely those things that are a distraction to your essence. Allow the waters
of the storm trecena to wash away the false pride and rigid thinking to create
fertile ground for the growth of your integrated and authentic self. I think
when we discuss Chiron retrograde later in this report, we'll realize that this
Cauac energy is also present in the astrological transit field.
I've included the Human Design transits for the trecena,
along with the astrology and Tzolkin day signs. I'll quickly review some of
that information before discussing the Neutrino Forecast for the current 1 -
Storm 13 day period.
We start by looking at the position of the Sun, Earth, Moon, Planets, and Nodes as we would
in astrology, except instead of relating them to the Zodialogical
constellations and each other, we look at them in relation to the hexagrams of
the I'Ching, which are then mapped to specific locations in the body graph. For instance at the beginning of this
trecena we have the Sun in
Gemini but also in the 12th hexagram. The shapes inside the body graph
are called centers and represent the next stage in our evolution as humans from
having seven chakras to having nine centers. The Sun in the 12th hexagram is
mapped to an opening in an energy channel called a gate, and which is the 12th gate located on the right side of the Throat center in an individual channel called the
"Social Being". These pathways between the centers are called
channels and are from the Kabala. I have found HD to be amazingly accurate and
my primary tool when I provide readings. The black strips of paper in this
diagram represent the gates activated by the Sun, Planets, and Nodes regardless
if they form a channel. So we have the following hanging gates or potentials at
the beginning of this 1 - Storm trecena; the Earth in the
11, the Sun in the 12, the North node in the 1 and South
Node in the 2, Mercury and Venus in the 53,
Mars in the 35, Jupiter in the 12, Uranus in the 21,
and Neptune in the 55. Obviously not every gate
activation forms a channel, but this information can be very helpful if you
know your own Human Design chart, because some of these transits will form
channels with potentials in your personal body graph. I'm not going to follow
the moon with this demonstration, because it moves so fast that it activates
three to four gates a day.
On
1 - Cauac or Storm we have one channel defined which
will be affecting us until the beginning of August, with Pluto in the 38 and Saturn in the 28
we have the Channel of Struggle. This brings
experiences where people struggle against overwhelming odds. It is through this
archetypal "hero's journey" of fighting for our purpose that empowers
others to stubbornly fight for what holds meaning for them. This is about
empowerment that comes from being who we are meant to be instead of following
the conditioning of our families, schools, religions and governments. They are
said to be deaf, so they don't hear the other and become distracted from their
authentic path.
On the 24th Mars moves into the 45th
gate. With Uranus in the 21 and Mars in the 45, we have the 21-45 channel called the "Money Line" which
is tribal so it's about resources and support of the family and those people
that even if they are not blood, they are part of your tribe or extended
family. During this trecena this will condition folks to gain resources through
their will power, often without others to collaborate with. This will bring
into focus who are the "haves" and who are the "have-nots"
on the material plane. This is a time period when people will believe that they
can manifest what they want through their will, which completes July 2nd when Mars
moves to the 12th gate, so those folks who have not completed their will to
materialism by that date will find their efforts fall flat.
Before I get into the daily energy of the Cauac Mercury moved into Cancer May 31st,
followed by Venus on June 2nd, then the Sun on the 21st for the Solstice, and
then Jupiter on June 25. Cancer is the nurturer of the Zodiac with its focus on
home and family, but also on using our feelings to determine if our outer world
is in alignment with our inner world. We will strive to regain balance after
all the changes that came through on the coattails of the April and May
eclipses. This also brings an emphasis of the element of water with this
stellium or group of planets in Cancer, along with Neptune in Pisces and Saturn
in Scorpio, the other two water signs. During June, as these planets move
through Cancer they form a grand trine from Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Jupiter and in
July Mars, with Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. It will be interesting to see how Neptune and Saturn
"play" together, but I think working on creativity will be an
excellent way to merge these energies. This is a very positive transit when these
planets are between 4 and 5 degrees of Cancer. Later when the same planets
approach 10 degrees Cancer they are opposed by Pluto and challenged by Uranus
which continues the wave of transformation as it receives another series of
pulses due to these planetary alignments.
At the beginning of the 1 - Storm trecena, all the planets appear to move forward from our vantage
point on Earth except Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto which appear to move retrograde or in reverse motion.
Saturn appearing to be in reverse motion can be
compared to a time period of recuperation or back tracking regarding some
obstacle in the path. After its retrograde period we can advance forward toward
our goals a little more rested and with a more efficient process as long as we
honor it, rather than trying to push through regardless of resistance. Retrograde
Neptune in Pisces is seeking transcendence
through spiritual experiences. This will be a time to use spiritual practices
to keep us grounded as we expand our intuition and consciousness. This will be
important energy to nurture as we are in the middle of four years of the
unexpected rebellion of the individual (Uranus in Aries) challenging the
decaying power structure (Pluto in Capricorn). This will be a difficult time of
upheaval, destruction, death, unexpected change, natural disasters, violence
and war, so finding our own peace in our connection to spirit will be an
important quality to cultivate now for the tumultuous road ahead. Neptune pushes us to
transcend the physical world to connect with our higher purpose and spiritual
transformation, but also encourages escapism as some will seek unconsciousness
while others to awaken. With Pluto,
the planet of transformation through a death and rebirth cycle, moving
retrograde, which is about reviewing the past, and will require releasing
anything from the past that is a burden to our new path. We can choose to let
go or we can have it ripped from our hands, we have a choice about how we want
to react, but Pluto will take our baggage regardless of our attachment, if it
doesn't have a purpose in our rebirth. Pluto represents death, completion, and
in Capricorn, the breakdown of structures, to bring about transformation.
Chiron just turned retrograde on the 16th and
Mercury joins the planets appearing to move in
reverse on the 26th. As I've said before planets don't really move in reverse
in their orbits, but appear to move backward much like being in a car passing a
slower moving car. There is a point where the slower moving car appears to be
moving in reverse when compared to landmarks in the far distance. Chiron
retrograde in Pisces is about releasing stuck emotional energy and so that we
can return to the natural flow of life. Chiron is the wounded healer in Greek
mythology. He was a teacher, healer, and astrologer to the Gods. He was
abandoned at birth because his mother objected to her son being half man and
half horse, which was his first wound. When he was teaching Hercules to use
Hydra's blood as poison, Hercules mistakenly hit Chiron in the leg with a
poisoned arrow, but because Chiron was immortal he didn't die. He suffered the
pain of his wounds every day of his life. Chiron eventually traded his life to
have Prometheus released from his imprisonment for stealing fire and giving it
to the human race. Retrograde Chiron has us reviewing our wounds so that they
can be released, by having the courage to open our hearts and confront any fear
or pain associated with our past. While Chiron is in Pisces people are willing
to sacrifice their individual pain in hopes of finding bliss in Universal
consciousness. At its worst this can manifest as folks justifying their
victimhood as some form a martyrdom. This should be transcendence and surrender
with losing ourselves in the experience. The last time Chiron was in Pisces was
from 1961 to 1968, which was also the
time that Uranus and Pluto were merged in Virgo, planting the seeds for the
squares between Pluto and Uranus that we are currently experiencing. At that
time there was a growing drug culture, as people were looking for a shortcut to
transcendence. The retrograde aspect brings a longing for lost loves and the
memories of our losses, encouraging us to return to look at our core wounds and
bring them to the surface so they can be healed. Another trap of Chiron in
Pisces is codependent relationships where we focus on healing others rather
than ourselves. Chiron will turn direct in November, so this time of exploring
the depths of our psyche will be with us for months to come.
At the beginning of the Storm trecena Mercury is slowing down as it stops and turns
retrograde at 23 degrees Cancer on the 26th. When a planet slows down to a stop
from our perspective here on earth, that planet is considered to be at the peak
of its power. Even folks who don't follow astrology are aware of Mercury
retrograde's effect on communication, technology and travel. This time before
Mercury changes directions would be wise to pay closer attention to things that
you say, instructions that you have to read, contracts that must be signed. Mercury
retrograde during this period will spend 10 weeks in the sign of Cancer which
will be a time of reviewing our homes and families from the perspective of
security. I think it's important during the later part of June to be aware of
Mercury being at the peak of its power due to its stopped motion as it changes
direction, that the Greek god Hermes, who the Romans renamed to Mercury, was
also the trickster god. He was the messenger of the Gods and if you weren't on
his good side you might not get your message or it might be altered to mean
something different than was intended. I covered the trickster archetype in
depth in the February 21st 2013, 1 – Ik "eek" or Wind report, so you
may want to review that video for more information about tricksters. I do want
to add this quote from Joseph Campbell "Almost all non-literate mythology has a
trickster-hero of some kind. . . . And there’s a very special property in the
trickster: he always breaks in, just as the unconscious does, to trip up the
rational situation. He’s both a fool and someone who’s beyond the system. And
the trickster represents all those possibilities of life that your mind hasn’t
decided it wants to deal with. The mind structures a lifestyle, and the fool or
trickster represents another whole range of possibilities. He doesn’t respect
the values that you’ve set up for yourself, and smashes them. . . . The fool is
the breakthrough of the absolute into the field of controlled social
orders."
Beyond the classic Mercury retrograde interpretation what can be said?
Well I've discovered that Mercury retrogrades repeat every 79 years, so look
for the reoccurrence of themes from 1934, 1855 and 1776. 1934 saw the rise of
fascism in Germany and Austria, coup attempts in France and Bulgaria, and the
rise and fall of gangsters and bank robbers in the USA. What stuck out for me
was the realization that 1934 was also one of the years of the previous Uranus
Pluto squares, with Uranus in Aries as it is
now, but Pluto in Cancer. This was an historical time period of global
financial decline and increased fascism. 1855 brought the Great Gold Robbery of
1855 which occurred in England, rising conflicts between pro-slavery and anti-slavery
forces which began in Bleeding Kansas in the USA and the Taiping Rebellion in
China which was one of the deadliest military conflicts in history, killing
about 20 million people, mostly civilians. 1855 was the time period when Neptune was last in Pisces, as it is currently, which
was also a time of more compassion for the suffering of slaves in the United
States. 1776 saw the American Revolution and the Declaration of Independence.
Interestingly tactics that we look at as carried out by patriots in history, would
now be acts of terrorism from our modern viewpoint, such as attaching a time
bomb to the hull of the HMS Eagle or placing cannons on Dorchester Heights
overlooking Boston Harbor. These are themes of the Trickster archetype, to use
cleverness and covert actions rather than attempt to battle a powerful
adversary on its own terms. 1776 also was a year where Pluto
was in Capricorn, dismantling power structures that have out grown their
usefulness, which is the last time period Pluto was in Capricorn until 2008,
where it remains today. Clearly we are looking at cycles within cycles, the
players have changed roles, but the themes of a decaying empire collapsing
under its own weight, with individuals employing tactics of cleverness over
direct confrontation, the oppressive power of fascist governments, economic
decline increasing the chasm between the elite and the struggling throngs, and
the growing compassion for those left without a voice are the fabric of our
times.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy
for this trecena. June
18th 2013 is 1 – Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm: unity experienced through recognizing the gifts in
adversity, with the Moon in Libra being challenged by Venus and Mercury and
finding support from the Sun and Jupiter. The day's emotional energy moves from
pleasant energy for being with the other we want to know better, to our moods
influencing our ability to think rationally, and finally gives a sense of
harmony within ourselves and supports any type of group activity and relationships
with the opposite sex, along with a pleasant sense of wellbeing, with warm and
friendly interactions with those in our immediate environment. The 19th is 2 - "ah-how": duality
experienced through
honoring the wisdom and memory of
our ancestors, with the Sun conjunct Jupiter which
is very good energy both physically and psychologically. It's very optimistic
and expansive. People will be more open minded, so it might be a good day to
study and understand subjects that normally seem beyond our understanding. This
also expands our confidence and wellbeing. The only caution I see for this
transit is to avoid being arrogant, domineering or being excessive, as those
are the negative aspects of the day. This is the first time the Sun has merged
with Jupiter since "the king of the gods" moved into Gemini in June
of last year, so this could be a time where ideas and concepts that have been a
year in the making are illuminated as we reach new levels of achievement. Mostly
this is very positive and promotes future growth. Mars challenges Chiron which
is irritating as it brings up our past wounds and causes stress between the
wounding and healing forces. Also the
Scorpio Moon merges with Saturn, finding support from Neptune, and harmonizing
with Pluto. The day moves from keeping our inner most thoughts and feelings to ourselves
while fantasies and daydreams distract us from accomplishing routine tasks and
later shifts to deep emotions finding their way to the surface and felt on a
profound level. June 20th
is 3 - Imix "e-meesh" or
Crocodile: taking action through nurturing new beginnings, with Mercury conjunct Venus, which stimulates our
appreciation of beauty and interest in art, music, or poetry. It also could
include expressions of affection with loved ones. This also favors financial
and business dealings. Enjoy this energy by finding harmony in your interpersonal
relationships, because this is a time of calm during the storm, also the Moon in Scorpio
finds support from Venus and Mercury, which has us enjoying pleasant feelings
along with enjoying social interactions while being more in touch with our
feelings and able to share them with others. The 21st is 4 - Ik "eek"
or Wind: stability through communication, with the Sun moving
into Cancer for the Solstice Summer in the North and Winter in the
Southern hemisphere. The Sun in Cancer illuminates security and emotional
wellbeing. If you planted intentions during the Equinox, how are they growing?
Do you need to weed something out so that what you intended has more room to
grow? The charts of the Solstices and Equinox have long been used to forecast
the energy for the coming season and this one is very interesting and mostly
positive with the Sun conjoined Jupiter out of sign, Mercury merged with Venus,
Mars sextile Uranus, and the Sun applying into the Grand Trine with Saturn and
Neptune. So over the next three months we have optimistic and expansive energy
with creativity being favored along with the connection between the physical
plane to the spiritual, and unpredictable events along with open mindedness and
acceptance. The Sun in Cancer brings a tendency to want family and friends in
situations that are nurturing and feel good, as the
Sagittarius Moon is challenged by Neptune which brings our dreams into the day's
vibration. This could bring a great deal of creativity, but it also has a
quality where the moment could get lost in fantasy or distractions. June 22nd is 5 - Akbal "awk-bol" or Night: empowerment through contemplating
the stars, with the Moon in Sagittarius finding support from Uranus and opposed
by Mars. The day begins with a desire for emotional excitement to engage in
activities outside our daily routine and later when opposed by Mars, people are
more excitable and irritable which can cause problems in our personal lives. The
23rd is 6 -
Kan "con" or Seed: being in the flow through planting seeds and making new connections, with the Full
moon at 2 degrees Capricorn, which has the Moon opposing Jupiter and the
Sun, in harmony with Saturn and Neptune, merging with Pluto and challenged by
Uranus. The day is a mix of the high level of energy that we have in a full
moon, with generosity, realistic expectations through being calm and
reflective, and great sensitivity to others' emotions, but later there is more
intense moods rising to the surface from deep in our psyches, along with folks
acting hasty and jumping to conclusions that may not be correct. With Pluto and
Uranus being activated this can bring awakening from our depths. The Sun in the
grand trine with Saturn and Neptune brings a harmonious flow of emotion between
the water signs. The Moon in Capricorn forms the tail of the kite opposing the
Sun while sextile Saturn and Neptune, and can promote changes in career or
business directions. June 24th is 7 - Chicchan "chee-chan" or Serpent: reflection through being
flexible, as
the Moon in Capricorn opposes Mercury and Venus. The day moves from a conflict between feelings and reason, and later shifts to
pleasant energy for enjoying the sensual experiences and rich food with a
caution against overindulgence. The 25th is 8 Cimi "key-mee" or
Transformation:
balance through releasing what no
longer serves us, when Jupiter moves into Cancer
which brings optimism about home and family. This is expansive energy for
investments, and real estate. This also favors anything involving food and
drink. Jupiter in a water sign begins to amplify our true feelings and shift
circumstances to find balance between our inner and outer worlds. Jupiter will
be in Cancer until mid-July 2014 and will join the water grand trine July 17 of
this year, followed by activating the t-square by opposing Pluto and squaring
Uranus in August. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer as it finds comfort and expands
to meet the emotional needs of Cancer, as the Aquarius Moon is challenged by
Saturn and stimulated by Uranus. The day's emotional energy is a mix of feelings of
loneliness and isolation, and pleasant yet restless feelings craving emotional
excitement to do something outside the daily routine. June 26th is 9 - man-eek" : patience experienced through being
of service to others, with Mercury beginning its
retrograde cycle so expect a period of difficulties and lack of clarity
related to communications, travel and technology. From the 26th to July 20th
would be a good time to avoid signing contracts or other legal papers, making
any major purchases, or even taking a new job. If you can postpone these types
of activities the terms will be much clearer after Mercury is moving direct. Mercury
retrogrades force us to slow down and pay more attention to our lives by making
us focus on the details of our daily experience. The retrograde cycle provides
information about a change or correction in our cosmic course. In the sign of
Cancer, the themes of powerful feelings, emotional awareness, and intuition
guiding our adjustments within our homes and families will be particularly
apparent and could have a profound effect on our lives. If you look at the
house of your astrological chart that contains 13 to 23 degrees of Cancer, you
can find the theme where you will experience revisions, reviews and rethinking
of the characteristics represented by that house. For me it is the first house
of the self, so I expect this cycle to provide new information about the way I
present myself to others and how I'm seen in the outside world. No matter where
the Mercury retrograde occurs in your chart, this often leads to changing
choices, goals, and directions. With Jupiter newly in Cancer, this time period
may very well push us out of our comfort zone as we become aware of our new
journey. Also on the 26th the Sun
trines Saturn and Neptune and the third
activation of the grand trine in the element of water. When the Sun is
supported by Saturn, we have a great opportunity to learn something about
ourselves through our relationship with, and our effect on our environment. It
brings out the close relationship between who we are and what we do. With
Neptune's support of the Sun we are more idealistic and understand a more
spiritual level of reality. This increases our sensitivity to the more subtle
aspects of the world around us. This grand trine favors infusing romance,
creativity, and spirituality with being grounded, having self control, and
discipline, so you might want to engage in activities like meditation, yoga,
working of art, music or any creative project. The grand trine as Mercury turns
retrograde may delay some of Mercury's mischief, as the Moon in Aquarius finds
support from Mars, which is very good for asserting ourselves in a positive
manner and standing our ground if necessary. The 27th
is 10 -
Lamat "la-maught" or Star:
manifestation through
being grateful for abundant
relationships, as Venus enters Leo which brings
flamboyant and dramatic affect on our romances and social gatherings. I love
that Venus changes signs on a Lamat day, because the star it refers to is Venus
and what's more abundant than Leo? This will increase the activity in our
social lives. In Leo, people may seek pleasure and fun, as well as be more
inspired to splurge on gifts for loved ones over the next three weeks, with the
Pisces Moon finding support from Jupiter, Saturn, and the Sun, merging with
Neptune, and in harmony with Pluto. The day's energy begins with people have a
pleasant sense of wellbeing, then shifts to a
sober realistic view of life with feelings of empathy for those around us,
including the possibility of clairvoyance and telepathic experiences for those
of us who are sensitive by nature, later shifts to a sense of inner harmony
which is mirrored in the outside world, and finally experiencing deep emotions on a profound level. June 28th is 11 - Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering: resolution through appreciating creation, with the Moon in
Pisces challenged by Mars and supported by Mercury. The day moves from folks
feeling
irritable which could lead to needless disputes, but later feeling
in touch with their emotions and expressing them to others. The 29th is 12 - Oc "awk" or Dog: understanding through enjoying family and friends, with
the Aries Moon challenged by Jupiter and supported by Venus, which brings
benevolent and generous feelings for those in our immediate environment and
then enjoying
social interactions with others. June
30th is 13 -
Chuen "shoe-in" or Monkey:
movement to the next stage through creating
something new, Mars conjuncts the USA natal Mars from July 4th 1776. Which
increases the likelihood of military conflicts and violence for the United
States, intensifying aggressive actions and the war cries within and without,
with the Last Quarter Moon in Aries challenged by the Sun and Pluto and merging
with Uranus. Early in the day we encounter challenges to our daily routines,
then having the compulsion to act in ways that may not be good for us in the
long run, which shifts to people feeling impulsive and acting rashly, with
moods changing quickly and unexpectedly.
So
no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Storm trecena, take
some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a
sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment
through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is
a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the
performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe
the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a
human experience.
