This is the "Care and feeding
of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of August 22nd 2013
for 1 - Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard the Mayan Tzolkin
calendar, also the Sun and Mercury moving into Virgo, and Mars moving into Leo.
August 22nd 2013 is 1 - Kan
"con" or Seed or Lizard which carries the
themes of corn, the net overflowing after the
harvest, planting, ripeness, sexual maturity, abundance to manifest, connecting
with others, the lizard of fertility and growth, germination, children and
family. The
seed in the Tzolkin has two primary
representations: a huge net full of corn and the lizard, both are symbols of
fertility. This thirteen day period is excellent for planting new intentions
and other seeds.
I've included the Human Design transits for the trecena,
along with the astrology and Tzolkin day signs. I'll quickly review some of
that information before discussing the Neutrino Forecast for the current 1 - Seed 13 day period. We start by looking at the position of the Sun, Earth, Moon, Planets, and Nodes
as we would in astrology, except instead of relating them to the Zodialogical
constellations and each other, we look at them in relation to the hexagrams of
the I'Ching, which are then mapped to specific locations in the body graph. For instance at the beginning of this
trecena we have the Sun in the
last degrees of Leo but also in the 29th hexagram. The shapes inside the
body graph are called centers and represent the next stage in our evolution as
humans from having seven chakras to having nine centers. The pathways between
the centers are called channels and are from the Kabala. The Sun in the 29th
hexagram is mapped to an opening in an energy channel called a gate, and which
is the 29th gate of "saying yes",
located on the upper right side of the sacral center
in a abstract collective energy path called the "Channel of Discovery".
I have found HD to be amazingly accurate and my primary tool when I provide
readings. The black strips of paper in this diagram represent the gates
activated by the Sun, Planets, and Nodes regardless if they form a channel. So
we have the following hanging gates or potentials at the beginning of this 1 - Lizard
trecena; the Earth in the 30, the Sun in the 29, the North node in the 44
and South Node in the 24, Mercury in the 29, Mars in the 62,
Saturn in the 28, and Uranus in the 21. Obviously not every gate activation forms a
channel, but this information can be very helpful if you know your own Human
Design chart, because some of these transits will form channels with potentials
in your personal body graph. You can get your HD chart by going to

Chart", and entering your birth information. I'm not going to follow the moon
with this demonstration, because it moves so fast that it activates three to
four gates a day.
On
1 - Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard, we have two
channels defined with Jupiter in the 39
connecting with Neptune in the 55 which brings the Channel
of Emoting, until September 7th, which will be a time period when people
feel pressure in the form of an emotional wave. The best way to deal with this
level of sensitivity is to appreciate the lows as well as the highs.
Recognizing that it is all part of our human experience and is temporary for
those of us who don't have this channel in our birth charts. This can bring
lessons that yield wisdom as long as we can stay present in moving from hope to
despair and back to hope in this cycle. We can tap into great creativity by
fueling our melancholy or feeling "blue" into some form of artistic
expression. This brings deeply romantic and acoustic sensitivity so listening
to music or talking with a loved one is favored.
With Pluto in the 58 and Venus in the 18 we
have the Channel of Judgment which is the design
of Insatiability, which will be with us until the 24th, bringing us the
pressure to offer constructive criticism. This conditioning force works best if
it is invited and its purpose is not personal but for the good of the
collective. This can influence us to become perfectionists with an
insatiability to make improvements. Unfortunately most people will not be aware
of this influence and how best to apply it to their lives, so we'll see a lot
of folks meeting resistance as they try to change their family and friends with
little success, which leads to a sense of dissatisfaction, after all true
perfection does not exist, only ascending levels of mastery.
On the 28th the Sun moves into the 40 and
the Earth moves into the 37 we have the Channel of Community until September
3rd. During the end of the Seed trecena this brings the energy where people
will wonder where they belong in the scheme of things and then try to live that
out. It will be a time of thinking about marriage and family as the foundation
of community. Fairness becomes more important under the influence of the Channel
of Community. Balance becomes important in all aspects of life. People will
explore how they fit into their community and on a mystical level, where they
fit in the universe and what their true purpose is.
On the 3rd the Sun moves into the 64 and
with Mercury in the 47 we have the Channel of Abstraction until September 6th.
The energy of this channel is about creating something new out of something
old. This is about abstract thought being brought into the collective
consciousness through the arts, philosophy, history and culture. This is
wonderful energy for telling stories about our experiences that inspire others,
but brings confusion when used to resolve our own issues.
September is the ninth month and with the
digits for 2013, when added together we get 15, then we add 1 + 5 to tell us
that this is a fifteen/six month in numerology. Basic numerology reduces
numbers to one through nine, so when we think about that arc the six represents
a time of review after gaining insights during the five month. It's about
finding balance by sorting out to determine what we want to keep and what has
fulfilled it's purpose and can be released. These qualities are shared by the
sign of Virgo, which is the placement of the sun at the beginning of the month.
The six month wants resolutions and harmony, which is also the theme of 2013 because
we are in the middle of a six year. The fifteen/six combination is represented
by the Devil and the Lovers in the Tarot cards, which is about facing our
bedevilments or problems with tenacity and humor to hone ourselves in
relationship to the other. 2013 is represented as a Lovers year which reminds
me of this passage from the I'Ching: "But when two people are at one in
their inmost hearts, they shatter even the strength of iron or bronze; and when
two people understand each other in their inmost hearts, their words are sweet
and strong, like the fragrance of orchids."
Before I get into the daily energy of the Seed, all the planets appear to move forward from
our vantage point on Earth except Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto
which appear to move retrograde or in reverse motion. As I've said before
planets don't really move in reverse in their orbits, but appear to move
backward much like being in a car passing a slower moving car. There is a point
where the slower moving car appears to be moving in reverse when compared to
landmarks in the far distance. Chiron retrograde in Pisces is about releasing
stuck emotional energy, so that we can return to the natural flow of life.
Retrograde Chiron has us reviewing our wounds so that they can be released, by
having the courage to open our hearts to any fear or pain associated with our
past. When Chiron is in Pisces people are willing to sacrifice their individual
pain in hopes of finding bliss in Universal consciousness. At its worst this
can manifest as folks justifying their victimhood as some form of martyrdom.
This should be transcendence and surrender without losing ourselves in the
experience. The retrograde aspect brings a longing for lost loves and the
memories of our losses, encouraging us to return to look at our core wounds and
bring them to the surface so they can be healed. Retrograde Uranus in Aries is seeking to shake our very
foundation through the unexpected rebellion of the individual. This can shock
us to awaken and forces us to embrace our new way of living through reversals
and unexpected events. It is best to embrace the changes when they occur,
because they are removing the obstacles to our new direction. This is about
unplanned experiences that disrupt our perceived and planned life path in order
to move us forward in our spiritual evolution, individually and globally.
Retrograde Neptune in Pisces is seeking
transcendence through spiritual experiences. This will be a time to use
spiritual practices to keep us grounded as we expand our intuition and
consciousness. This will be important energy to nurture as we are in the middle
of four years of the unexpected rebellion of the individual (Uranus in Aries) challenging the decaying power
structure (Pluto in Capricorn). This will be a
difficult time of upheaval, destruction, death, unexpected change, natural
disasters, violence and war, so finding our own peace in our connection to
spirit will be an important quality to cultivate now for the tumultuous road we
are traversing. Neptune pushes us to transcend the physical world to connect
with our higher purpose and spiritual transformation, but also encourages
escapism as some will seek unconsciousness while others to awaken. With Pluto, the planet of transformation through a death
and rebirth cycle, moving retrograde, which is about reviewing the past, and
will require releasing anything from the past that is a burden to our new path.
We can choose to let go or we can have it ripped from our hands, really all we
have is the choice about how we want to react, but Pluto will take our baggage
regardless of our attachment, if it doesn't have a purpose in our rebirth. Pluto represents death, completion, and in Capricorn, the breakdown of structures, to bring about
transformation.
Ok let's look at the daily vibrational
energy for this trecena. August 22nd 2013 is 1 - Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard: unity experienced through planting seeds and making new connections, as the Sun moves into Virgo which begins our transition to
the next season finishing up Summer in the north and Winter in the south. This
is much more modest, practical, reserved energy than the Leo energy of the past
month. Traditionally Virgo is ruled by Mercury, but I agree with Barbara Hand
Clow that Chiron, the wounded healer, is the modern ruler of the sign
associated with health. This should bring a shift to more focus on
organization, self improvement, criticism, and service, with the Moon in Pisces
finding support from Mars which brings the energy for asserting ourselves in a positive manner and standing our
ground if necessary.
The 23rd is 2 - Chicchan "chee-chan" or Serpent: duality experienced through being flexible, with Mercury moving into
Virgo on the 23rd which brings out the more analytical aspects of the
mind and grounded communication. People will be more drawn to know the facts,
with wanting to explore all sides of the question before making up their minds.
Sloppy communication and thinking will find there is less tolerance when we
could think things through before we speak and articulate the practical
information with beautiful organization, with the Aries Moon opposed by Venus
and challenged by Pluto which merges pleasant
energy for enjoying sensual experiences and rich food with a caution against
overindulgence, with
having the compulsion to act in ways that may not be good for us in the long
run. August 24th is 3 - Cimi "key-mee" or
Transformation:
taking action through releasing what no longer serves us, with Venus square Pluto and the Sun
conjunct Mercury. Venus square Pluto has
us beginning the time of the cardinal Grand Cross. It intensifies our emotional
experiences and expression. It also brings a few days that are more challenging
for relationships, as it brings secrets out into the open. This is a time of
being drawn into powerful love experiences that change our consciousness, at
least for a time. This may bring changes to a relationship, that our only
recourse is to surrender and accommodate the shift, which can be difficult
because we crave stability in relationships, and at times relationships are
anything but stable. Probably the best option is to hold loosely to those we
love for a few days before and after the 24th. This could also be a time when
we might hear from or contemplate contacting a former lover. Also we have the
Sun conjunct Mercury in Virgo which is great for expressing ourselves and
thinking in an organized fashion. We need to be watchful that we listen to
others as this energetic wants to communicate. We can get our point across, but
we want to be polite and allow others to do so as well. Expect this to be a day
when there is an increase in phone calls, meetings, e-mails, and so on. While
the Moon in Aries merges with Uranus and is challenged by Jupiter which begins
the day with people feeling impulsive and acting rashly, with moods changing
quickly and unexpectedly, along with benevolent and generous feelings for those
in our immediate environment. The 25th is 4 - man-eek" : stability
through being of service to others, with Mercury opposed by Neptune bringing a day of
confusion, with a great deal of information coming into our minds that we can't
make any sense of. We feel a heightened sensitivity with little ability to
filter to gain clarity. Not a day to make any kind of permanent commitment
based on the experiences of the day. Over the next few days we'll gain clarity
about this download of new spiritual awareness. Folks may feel confused, anxious,
and have a lower tolerance for stress on the 25th, as the
Moon is challenged by Mars, supported by the Sun and Mercury, in Harmony with
Neptune, and opposed by Saturn. The day's energy begins with people feeling
irritable which could lead to needless disputes, then shifts to feeling in
touch with our emotions and expressing them to others with a sense of inner
harmony which is mirrored in the outside world and being very sensitive to the
moods of others, and finally feeling lonely and isolated. August 26th is 5 -
Lamat "la-maught" or Star: empowerment
through being grateful for abundant
relationships, as
Venus opposes Uranus and the Sun opposes Neptune which creates tension in our
personal lives. With Venus opposed by Uranus, we have a sudden unexpected
occurrence in a love relationship, which may not be negative. This can be
unusual, and stimulating, but also destabilizing. People will be driven to have
exciting activities and experiences. The routine in relationships will not be
satisfying today, and unresolved tension in love relationships may cause a
rupture in the pairing. Relationships that begin under this influence will
provide a break from the mundane, but may not be long lasting. The Sun
opposition Neptune brings considerable confusion and uncertainty, but it also
confers a sensitivity to others and their needs, which can lead to new
awareness. This is likely to be a day where people may just agree with others
to avoid any type of confrontation. It's best to avoid playing the victim or
martyr role, if you feel you can't assert yourself under this influence, its
best to delay any disagreements until you've given yourself time to reflect on
the issue. This is also a time to be aware that people may be being out right
deceptive, making it a poor time to negotiate any contractual agreements. This
transit is positive for experiencing more depth in spiritual connections with a
partner, with the potential for a union of souls, with the Taurus Moon supported
by Pluto and in harmony with Jupiter, with Pluto bringing out intense emotions
and stimulating sensitivity, which also favors sexual relationships, and
finally feeling in the flow and having a sense of wholeness. The 27th is 6 -
Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering: being in the flow through appreciating creation, while Mars moves
into Leo which is a better placement for the warrior. Mars will be in
Leo until mid-October emphasizing dramatic actions, and heightened drive to be
creative, also energizing us to see the lighter aspects of life and be more
joyful. It is best to avoid being overbearing, authoritative, and condescending
under this influence. Also on the 27th we have Mercury
sextile Saturn which is great for constructive criticism that comes from
being able to see what can be improved in our surrounding environment. This is
nice energy for working carefully on any mental task from a place of
concentration and precision, whereas activities that require a great scope of
vision may be more difficult. This is about the details, rather than the
overall pattern. Difficulty seeing the forest for the trees. And Venus square Jupiter activates the cardinal Grand
Cross again on the 27th. The energy of this square is usually agreeable, in
that folks feel good and enjoy social interactions. A great day for doing
something you enjoy, not so good for doing something you have to do, as it is
low for self discipline. It's tough on dieters, because people may feel the
urge to indulge in rich or sweet foods, with a caution about eating and
drinking too much under this influence. This also applies to shopping as we
will have a tendency to overspend on non essentials, with the Moon in Taurus
stimulated by Mars which brings the desire to work independently from others. August
28th is 7 - Oc "awk" or Dog: reflection through
enjoying family and friends, as Mercury trines Pluto which can bring concern about the
deeper issues in life. This has people wanting to dig below the surface to
uncover mysteries. On a personal level this can be excellent for inner work, so
it might be a good day for some "alone time" to discover some of the
deeper dimensions of your psyche. Communications may seem rather serious and
profound. Thoughts will be more focused and gain insights about important
developments, with the Last Quarter Moon in Gemini being challenged by Neptune,
the Sun, and Mercury, and stimulated by Uranus. The day's wave moves from
daydreams and fantasies feeling more important than reality, then we encounter
challenges to our daily routines, later folks being critical in their
communications particularly with the people they have intimate relationships
with, and finally pleasant yet restless energy that desires emotional
excitement. The 29th is 8 Chuen
"shoe-in" or Monkey: balance through creating something new, while Mercury opposed by Chiron can bring
a greater focus in our thinking regarding issues that require release to
promote healing, as the Moon in Gemini is
supported by Venus just after midnight EDT in the USA and then is Void of course
for the rest of the day which is about enjoying social interactions with others
while avoiding major decisions or purchases, but is good to use for resting to
assimilate this latest round of energy and experiences. August 30th is 9 - Eb
"eb" or Road: patience experienced through serving your community, with the Sun
sextiling Saturn is a great day for getting things done. It brings an
orderly state of mind and a strong sense of self discipline. This is practical
energy that is not interested in idealistic or abstract considerations that
have no application in daily life. This favors all matters related to work or
profession, with what is accomplished being done carefully with wonderful
concentration and attention to detail, which may impress authority figures.
Advice from older people is also favored under this transit. Not the best day
for relaxing, because it can be a little serious in its frame of mind. Also we
have Mercury sextile Jupiter on the 30th, which
brings our attention to the larger issues in life. Many will find their minds
wandering to thoughts about the future, as our hopes and wishes are more
important under this influence. This is also good for thinking about the
overall patterns in our lives. This is optimistic and brings a positive attitude.
This is also good for business negotiations, contract discussions, and
commercial transactions, as well as any dealing with the law. Travel also
benefits so this would be good energy to start a trip, with the Cancer
Moon finding support from Neptune and Saturn and harmonizing with the Sun. The
day moves from our innermost subconscious fantasies and daydreams confusing
reality, which may not be great for accomplishing much work, while we then
settle into a more sober and realistic view of life, and later feeling balance
between our inner and outer worlds. The 31st is 10 - Ben "ben" or Reed or Corn: manifestation through maintaining the home, with the Moon in Cancer opposed by Pluto,
challenged by Uranus and Venus, merging with Jupiter, and in harmony with
Mercury, which brings deep emotions rising to the surface, then people are
likely to act hasty and jump to conclusions, later shifts to good feelings and generosity
towards others, with lots of chatting with friends, neighbors, coworkers, and
finally having pleasant energy to be with friends and loved ones. September 1st
is 11 - Ix "eesh" or Jaguar: resolution through enjoying nature, as the Sun Trines Pluto which brings
the energy for very intense and powerful experiences, which can yield wisdom
about the inner working of the world, but particularly related to our personal
lives. This is a great day to begin any investigation or study. With Pluto we are
talking transformation through what empowers us, so making these changes could
lead to a sense of deep satisfaction. This energy is quite forceful so it's
important that it be used for reforming ourselves or for the greater good, as the Moon in Leo
makes no angles and is void of course until moving into Virgo, which does not
favor major decisions or purchases, but is good to use for resting to
assimilate this latest round of energy and experiences. The 2nd is 12 - Men
"men" – Eagle: understanding through seeing from a higher perspective, with the Leo Moon
merging with Mars, challenged by Saturn, and finding support from Uranus, which
moves from experiencing irritable moods and critical communications, to people feeling lonely or isolated, and finally having the impulse to
engage in activities that make us feel more alive. September 3rd is 13 - Cib "keeb" or Wisdom:
movement to the next stage through introspection,
meditation and forgiveness, as the Moon in Leo harmonizes with Venus which is
about having pleasant energy to be with friends and loved ones.
So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Seed trecena, take some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a human experience.
