Astrology and Tzolkin December 17th to the 29th 2013

This is the "Care and feeding of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of December 17th 2013 for 1 - Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, also The Gemini full moon, Uranus moving direct, The Sun moving into Capricorn for the Solstice, Venus turning Retrograde, and Mercury moving into Capricorn.

     December 17th 2013 for 1 - Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile which carries the themes of beginnings, Mother Earth, protection and trust, nurturing, primordial energy, new opportunities and information, instincts, primal creativity, water-lily, abundance, the essence of nature, beauty, receptivity and growth. Much like other indigenous people who believed that the Earth was carried on the back of a turtle, the Maya believed that our planet was carried on the back of a crocodile who would nurture and protect all life forms. They believed that from this primal force humans received messages and feelings about our connection to Mother Earth. This thirteen day period would be excellent to spend time in nature and listen to the subtle messages from Gaia. With One crocodile, we begin a 260 day Tzolkin round which ends with 13 – Ahau on September 2nd 2014.

     Before I get into the daily energy for 1 - Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile, on December 17th 2013 all the planets appear to move forward from our vantage point on Earth except Jupiter and Uranus, which appear to move retrograde or in reverse motion. I've discussed in depth the implications of the other planets moving retrograde in the past reports, so I'll just keynote each one. Jupiter was the king of the gods, and the planet is about good fortune, opportunities, faith, religion, beliefs and expansion. Cancer is about family, home, nurturing, and protection. Mostly what I find with Jupiter retrograde, as with any retrograde cycle there is a review of the past, and with Jupiter what gets reviewed are missed opportunities. In Cancer these are likely to be related to home and family. Retrograde Uranus in Aries is seeking to shake our very foundation to shock us to awaken and forces us to embrace our new way of living through reversals and unexpected events.

    The big change for the 1 - Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile thirteen day period is Uranus at a standstill as it prepares to turn direct on the full moon that begins the Imix trecena. When a planet is stopped it is said to be at the peak of its power, so Uranus at the peak of its power during December, is seeking to change our world through the unexpected rebellion of the individual. Obviously this will be a difficult time of upheaval, destruction, death, unexpected change, natural disasters, violence and war. Stationed Uranus in Aries will have people wanting to hurry the process of getting free. To push the river of revolution whether it be personal or governmental. This impulse may not be in the best interest of those acting on it, because with Pluto in Capricorn these changes and their consequences may be long lasting and very difficult to reverse. I think that this is the time of detaching (Uranus) to act as an unobstructed individual (Aries).  When I think of the day Uranus changed sign moving from Pisces into Aries on March 11 2011, I always remember that was the day of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami which crippled the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plants, which are still unstable and spewing radiation to this day. And of course Uranus rules Uranium... Uranus in astrology forces us outside our comfort zone so we have to look for possibilities "outside the box." This is about unplanned experiences that disrupt our perceived and planned life path in order to move us forward in our spiritual evolution, individually and globally.

    Uranus spends approximately seven years in a sign and leaves Aries for Taurus in 2018 then retrogrades back to Aries and finally departs for almost 80 years, March of 2019. These seven year cycles are about testing us to adapt to a new change, and we are currently experiencing the Aries test. Being an outer planet, Uranus creates events that we "respond" to. The inner planets effect us personally as individuals, but the outer planets change the landscape which effects us as a collective and as individuals within humanity. Which reminds me of this Krishnamurti quote "The only hope for humankind is in the transformation of the individual." Uranus creates challenges according to the sign it's in, so we may feel like we keep getting lessons in a theme over and over again. Uranus being the modern ruling planet of Aquarius, means that fairness is one of the topics, and often these events may seem unfairly set against us. I know I feel this with government and corporations conspiring to poison us with GMO food and starve us through austerity measures, oil and tar sand spills, fracking, chemtrails, geo-engineering, and manmade massive weather events, while the global elite eat organic food, build underground bunkers, and hoard seeds in arctic vaults. Which brings us to the theme of Aries: the self, the individual, the new beginning... This time particularly impacts people with personal planets in the signs of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, and of course Aries, as these planets become doorways to something unexpected and yet authentic. Which sets the stage for the epic seven challenging squares with Pluto in Capricorn that we've been experiencing since last year. As the individuals (Aries) revolting (Uranus) against the decaying power (Pluto) structures (Capricorn), which we can see this in almost every corner of the Earth as the individuals and groups protest oppression from the global elite. I believe the uprisings will be successful in overthrowing the old regimes and patriarchy, but it's an uphill fight for some time to come. Interestingly, the last time there were Uranus Pluto squares, was 1932 to 1934, Uranus was in Aries as it is now, and as I have talked about before the Mercury retrograde cycles repeat every 79 years, so we are currently repeating the 1934 Mercury cycle which brings forward similar aspects that we see being played out in the event field. That was a time of great upheaval with events such as the Dust Bowl, which was caused by farming practices that stripped the soil, which when the weather changed destroyed the landscape. Also that was the time of the Great Depression with international power struggles, leadership changes, and financial adjustments, such as the New Deal programs, under F.D.R. in the U.S. from 1933 to 1936, as a safety net for the poor and unemployed, which are the same programs that the legislators in the U.S government are currently trying to dismantle. And we see these themes being played out in many other countries at that time as well.

     In thinking of the many environmental events we are facing whether manmade or natural, I was reminded that Uranus was one of the original gods to the Greeks. He was the sky god and the husband of the earth goddess Gaia. He was born out of the primordial chaos, and came every night to cover the earth and mate with Gaia. Unfortunately he hated the children she bore him and killed or imprisoned most of them, until his son Cronus or Saturn ambushed his father, castrated him, and cast the severed testicles into the sea, which then became Aphrodite or Venus the goddess of love. After being disposed the sky no longer covered the earth at night and instead held its place above the earth. Which I guess was the beginning of being able to study the movements of the planets and stars in the night sky. This change in direction is interesting on the first day of the Imix trecena and the beginning of a new 260 day round, which is about nurturing and protecting our mother earth and being nurtured and protected by her, which is the theme of crocodile.

    Speaking of the goddess of love, Venus appears to be stopped at the opening of the month prior to appearing to move retrograde or in reverse motion from the perspective of the Earth on the Winter Solstice December 21st, in the sign of Capricorn, which brings the planet of esthetics, romance, and money to remain in the sign of the goat-fish for four months. When a planet is stopped it is said to be at the peak of its power. Venus is currently moving through its shadow period since November 20^th when it crossed the point where it will eventually turn direct. It remains in the shadow prior to turning retrograde on December 21st, where we receive information about needing to adjust our direction. Venus is retrograde from the Winter Solstice December 21st, at 28 and change almost 29 degrees of Capricorn until January 31st at 13 Capricorn, which will be the time when we will notice events related to our relationships and/or money that shifts our thinking to prepare us for the change we will implement after Venus is direct. Venus will take a few days to build momentum in moving reverse after the 21st.

    Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena. December 17th 2013 for 1 - Imix "e-meesh" or Crocodile: unity experienced through nurturing new beginnings, as the Gemini Full Moon is opposed by Mercury and the Sun, which underscores the theme of learning. Mercury and the Sun in Sagittarius are seeking education and travel to learn the truth that gives life meaning. The Gemini Moon is curious and seeks to gather information that may have value in the future. So you may want to seek answers to the important questions in your life under this influence. Full moons are a time of tension as the Sun in Sagittarius is about balancing freedom to explore through experience with having perspective to gather information for intellectual pursuits, represented by the Moon in Gemini. People talk more on full moons and in Gemini, with its ruler Mercury in Sagittarius, this is likely to be particularly true. With Mars in Libra applying towards a t-square with Uranus and Pluto, there is a sense of disharmony, where Mars wants something from the other, Uranus at the peak of his power is unpredictable and potentially volatile, and Pluto goes to extremes during this full moon. This begins the time period for the next three weeks where intensity and tension are on the rise. Uranus turns direct after being retrograde since July, which brings us into a time of awakening in concert with the Gemini Full Moon. With Uranus moving forward at 8 degrees Aries, we slowly realize the powerful energetic that stimulates us to live our lives more authentically. This adds more weight to the seeking freedom side of the equation. The 18th is 2 - Ik "eek" or Wind: duality experienced through communication, as Jupiter squares Ceres, which gives us a few days before and after that date where exercise and dieting routines are challenged. The temptation is to indulge during this time period, it's important to listen to our bodies to maintain a balance, while the Cancer Moon is challenged by Uranus, and opposed by Pluto, which has folks acting hasty and jumping to conclusions that may not be correct, and brings deep emotions rising to the surface. December 19th is 3 - Akbal "awk-bol" or Night: taking action through contemplating the stars, with the Moon in Cancer merging with Jupiter, finding support from Saturn, and opposed by Venus. The day's emotional energy begins with good feelings and generosity towards others, then shifts to a more sober and realistic view of life, and wraps up with pleasant energy for enjoying sensual experiences and rich food with a caution against overindulgence. The 20th is 4 - Kan "con" or Seed or Lizard: stability through planting seeds and making new connections, as the Leo Moon is stimulated by Mars, and finds support from Uranus. The day moves from having the desire to work independently from others to later having the impulse to engage in activities that make us feel more alive. December 21st is 5 - Chicchan "chee-chan" or Serpent: empowerment through being flexible, as the Sun enters into Capricorn bringing us the Solstice, Winter in the North and Summer in the South which we discussed in detail at the beginning of this report. Solstice and Equinox charts have long been used as predictors of the coming season. In the north this begins a time of turning inward during the winter, and to evaluate the growth and manifestations that were planted during the spring equinox in March. In the south this is a time of cultivating the intensions planted during the spring equinox in September. When considering the Solstice chart, I look at the dominant alignments, which the Uranus Pluto square is very strong and we've discussed it at length as being the force for transformation through rebellion. On the solstice, Mars is opposite Uranus which fuels the aggressive and potentially violent aspects of individuals seeking freedom from oppressive and decaying power structures. The next three months could see an increase in protests that escalate into violence, but the Libra Mars will try to put a good face on any ugliness. The most positive aspect of the chart is the trine between Jupiter and Saturn which favors business, but with the Leo Moon square Saturn and semi-sextile Jupiter in Cancer, the home and family my feel neglected by focus on enterprise. With a Leo moon I suspect this will not be without some drama coming from the homestead. Overall the next few months have opportunities for business and challenges at home, and potentially aggressive rebellion in the streets. Also on the 21st Venus turns retrograde which begins the second stage where we will learn about a change in our course, through our experiences in relationships. Retrogrades are times of review and looking backward. Venus is retrograde every eighteen months and can have an impact on our relationships, but also our money. I think with Jupiter being the only other retrograde planet during that time, we may have folks reviewing their past relationships for missed opportunities. Because Venus also rules money we'll be reviewing past financial dealings with an eye for choices that did not work out as planned. Overall something from the past needs to be resolved as we are wrapping up the year during a nine month in numerology, whether it's love relationships, or financial connections, and in Capricorn, we need to be committed to our resolution. This is a push to tie up loose ends as we move into 2014 and a new season with Venus retrograde. Overall I think the trap to watch out for is regret. The past is the past, so let go of regrets and try not to waste much thought on whether someone who has dumped you in the past, regrets their choice. I think those without regrets tend to be shallow people and if you were tossed aside by one of them, they probably did you a favor, as the Leo Moon is challenged by Saturn which brings people feeling lonely or isolated for part of the day. The 22nd is 6 - Cimi "key-mee" or Transformation: being in the flow through releasing what no longer serves us, while the Moon finds support from Mercury and the Sun, and is opposed by Neptune. The day moves from feeling in touch with our emotions and expressing them to others, to later feeling a sense of inner harmony which is mirrored in the outside world, and finally feeling sensitive emotionally but confused regarding the accuracy of what's being felt. December 23rd is 7 - Manik "man-eek" or Deer: reflection through being of service to others, with the Virgo Moon finding support from Pluto which brings out intense emotions and stimulates sensitivity, which also favors sexual relationships. The 24th is 8 - Lamat "la-maught" or Star or Rabbit: balance through being grateful for abundant relationships, as the Capricorn Sun harmonizes with Neptune which brings a pleasant flow between our conscious world and our spiritual world through intuition, imagination, meditation, and creativity. This also brings sensitivity to the energies of people and circumstances in your environment. We are more compassionate to the needs of others and also more willing to help them than usual. Neptune lowers the ego demands of the Sun, which allows us to be more open to the expressions of others. Service brings satisfaction under this transit. Spiritual and mystical aspects of life grab more of our attention during this period. Great energy to take space out of your normal routine to meditate or spend time in nature. This transit tends to lower energy, so this is not a good day to start some herculean new project. Do something that improves your spiritual wellbeing. This is like the energy that transformed Ebenezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." Also on the 24th Mercury moves into Capricorn which adds momentum as planets begin to cluster in the sign of business, government, industry, and finance, where Pluto has been focused on breaking down these systems since 2008. Mercury in the sign of the goat-fish is serious in its communications and thinking. This begins a good period for business and thinking about goals for 2014, while the Moon in Virgo harmonizes with Jupiter and Saturn, and is supported by Venus. The day begins with feeling in the flow and having a sense of wholeness, then later realistic expectations through being calm and reflective, and finally enjoying pleasant feelings and social interactions. December 25th is 9 - Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering: patience experienced through appreciating creation, while Mars is opposed by Uranus bringing stress for a few days before and after the 25th, with pressure to make radical changes, and with Mars involved I would not rule out aggressive or violent methods to bring about revolutionary transformation. Although Mars may appear to be "playing nice" in Libra, and the expressions may be through passive aggression. For those celebrating the holidays, this might be an interesting period to observe friends and family try to maintain their "spirit of the season," while feeling such tension to upset the status quo through any means necessary. This is always a difficult time for folks, and given this alignment, we may see an increase in substance abuse and suicides even over past holiday seasons. Like most oppositions there are two sides to this story. On one side and most commonly, this could be a time where people act out rashly against people who have oppressed or held them back in the past, or consistently angered them over time. The other side of this transit is to suddenly have the impulse to escape the obligations being imposed. Basically this comes down to fight or flight. Most frequently this signifies an explosive release of tension through an angry exchange, usually with people close to you. At very least folks will be experiencing a great sense of impatience. On the positive side we may find that our efforts to liberate ourselves from unnecessary and limiting situations starts to succeed, where we feel we are becoming free of those bonds. This is also time to take care, as accidents are more likely, while the last quarter Moon in Libra is challenged by Mercury, the Sun, and Pluto, opposed by Uranus, and merging with Mars. The day's emotional wave begins with folks being critical in their communications particularly with the people they have intimate relationships with, then we encounter challenges to our daily routines, later folks are emotionally excitable and impulsive, and experiencing irritable moods and critical communications, and finally having the compulsion to act in ways that may not be good for us in the long run. The 26th is 10 - Oc "awk" or Dog: manifestation through enjoying family and friends, while Mercury harmonizes with Neptune which is very positive for stimulating the imagination and also brings a greater sensitivity to the more subtle energies and psychic information. This could be a period of dreaminess where folks spend more time fantasizing. Withdrawal from life is not bad, and is often important for feeding the world within through inspiration, as the intangible reality is as important as the material world. This may be a time where we are more aware of what's going on in the minds of others, which is often difficult to keep intuitions organized. Clarity and detail are not favored at this time, with the Libra Moon challenged by Jupiter which has benevolent and generous feelings for those in our immediate environment. December 27th is 11 - Chuen "shoe-in" or Monkey: resolution through creating something new, while the Moon is challenged by Venus, finds support from Neptune, harmonizes with Mercury and the Sun. The day moves from pleasant energy for being with the others we want to know better, to fantasies and daydreams distracting us from accomplishing routine tasks, and finally lots of chatting with friends, neighbors, coworkers... with feelings of inner and outer equanimity. The 28th is 12 - Eb "eb" or Road: understanding through serving your community, while the Scorpio Moon is in harmony with Pluto, supported by Jupiter, and merging with Saturn. The day moves from having deep emotions finding their way to the surface and felt on a profound level, to later people having a pleasant sense of wellbeing, and wraps up with wanting to be alone in our thoughts and feelings. December 29th is 13 - Ben "ben" or Reed or Corn: movement to the next stage through maintaining the home, while the Sun merges with Mercury which stimulates our social interactions and conversations, particularly with people who are part of our new direction, and in Capricorn this could be related to business pursuits. Also illumination comes to some of the dark areas of our minds which brings forward information that was previously in the shadows. This alignment emphasizes an increase in conversations, although folks are more inclined to talk than listen. Being a conjunction, this brings the initiative to start something new, including starting a new business venture, as Mercury rules commerce and the exchange of ideas. This also brings a sharpness to the thinking process and is a good time to make plans for the future. Later Mercury in Capricorn is challenged by Uranus in Aries which is a stressful alignment that pits the traditional thinking against rebellious new views on the 29th. Since the outer planets tend to have more power, I believe that any rigid conservative ideas will be attacked, and transformed or released to make way for more innovative concepts. This could also be a time of increased protests with potential recklessness and violence. Personally, this can be quite stimulating bringing fascination for new phenomenon. Flexibility is the key with this transit, because the more rigid our thinking the more nerve wracking the effect. Expect the unexpected, surprises and upsets, and you will have the best chance to go with the flow, which may mean that plans for the day do not work out as expected. Epiphanies are more likely, so you may want to capture your genius thoughts in some form of record keeping, to reexamine in the days that follow. The pace is fast which can lead to sloppiness. A day to be careful of making sudden unexpected moves as accidents are more likely under this influence, with the Moon in harmony with Venus and challenged by Neptune which moves from wanting to be with friends and the people we love, to daydreams and fantasies feeling more important than reality.

    So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Crocodile trecena, take some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a human experience.

Astrology and Mayan Tzolkin December 4th to 16th 2013

This is the "Care and feeding of a New World Age" report for Gregorian date of December 4th 2013 for 1 - Lamat "la-maught" or Star in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, also Mercury moving into Sagittarius, and Mars moving into Libra.

     December 4th 2013 for 1 - Lamat "la-maught" or Star which carries the themes of abundance, playfulness, fertility, growth, ripeness, physical pleasure and spiritual inspiration, artistry, creation, joy and humor. One Star is also known as One Rabbit or One Venus. The glyph for Star is the planet Venus which is associated with death and rebirth as Venus disappears as the evening star and then reappears as the morning star. During this 1 - Star trecena Venus is slowing down as it prepares to turn retrograde on the Winter Solstice (Summer south of the equator) on December 21st, which will lead to the inferior conjunction (I.C.) when it is in front of the Sun and cannot be seen due to its close proximity to the Sun which lasts about 8 days and is exact on January 11th 2014. When Venus transits behind the Sun, this is called the superior conjunction (S.C.) and is not visible for about 50 days. I think it's interesting that modern Mayanologists have emphasized the Venus transit across the face of the sun in relation to Mayan cosmology, but the Dresden Codex which details precise knowledge of Venus' full cycle, makes no mention of the transit. This makes me wonder if this is a modern projection onto the Maya, because although the Venus transit which occurs twice every 243 years, during the I.C. is remarkable when viewed from the Earth, it is certainly a lesser energetic force compared to the S.C. when Venus is hidden behind the sun and traveling in the same direction. After all, we westerners love pyrotechnics, but might have missed the boat regarding the actual energetic as it relates to the spiritual realm. Venus is the Evening Star after the S.C. and before the I.C. which lasts approximately 260 days and travels as the Morning Star after the I.C. and before the S.C. for about 260 days. 260 days is exactly the length of a Tzolkin round and 1 - Star is the final trecena of the 260 day round, so the next "Care and Feeding" will celebrate a new round with 1 - Imix or Crocodile on December 17th. I think this thirteen day period would be a time to be grateful for any abundance or harvest in our lives whether it be food or spiritual insight.

    December is the twelfth month and with the digits for 2013, when added together we get 9, then we have a nine month in numerology. Basic numerology reduces numbers to one through nine, so when we think about that arc the 9 represents a time of completion. Although the numerology in January and February 2014 repeat November and December 2013 with January being an eight month and February being a nine month, the new cycle actually beings in March of next year. As a nine month, December 2013 is about tasks and projects that were initiated since April, and anything that is no longer needed is wrapped up and moved out of the way of the new cycle. This also brings the energy that what is begun must be completed. So this month is a time to tie up loose ends so we clean our plate for something new as events begin to give us hints about a new direction to take. December and also February are about clearing out the old people, places, and things to make room for their new counterparts which will emerge in March of next year. The nine is represented by the Hermit archetype in the Tarot cards, which is also about completion, contemplation, and introspection. This is the archetype of the wise lantern barer. The way shower whose life experience guides others through similar passages.

    The big change for the 1 - Lamat "la-maught" or Star trecena is Mars changing signs from Virgo to Libra. December brings a fair amount of chaos as the month unfolds. Venus is retrograde in Capricorn and Mars moves into Libra opposing Uranus and squaring Pluto. I'm hoping by this point we are well aware of our value as individuals and can share our gifts so we can flow with the rapid unexpected changes of our journey on the white water rafting trip called 2013. Mars is in its detriment in Libra because it is opposite Aries, the sign of Martian rulership, and is traditionally considered to have difficulty operating positively in Libra. Because of its retrograde cycle Mars will spend 8 months in the sign of the scales. We've spoken over the past reports about the Uranus Pluto square's energy to transform power structures through the rebellious actions of individuals, with Mars, the god of war, joining the party, it's going to get even more aggressive just in time for the holiday season. It's important to realize that the planets in transit seek balance, and only do damage to that which is out of balance. For instance Pluto in Capricorn since 2008, is about bringing balance back to power structures. So the planet of transformation wants to restore balance to governments, corporations and the banking system. All of which are in great need of rebalancing. In December we are adding Mars, the warrior archetype, to the mix as he dances not only with Uranus and Pluto, but also with Mercury and the Sun at the end of the month. Mars, who prefers to be overt in his expression of aggression, is not happy in Libra which seeks balance and harmony in relationships and social situations. He is gritting his teeth behind a forced smile. I expect we may literally see this metaphor played out in our interactions with friends and family during the holidays. The time between Christmas and New Years inclusive, is ground zero for the Martian desire, obnoxiousness, and aggression setting of the larger cycles with Uranus and Pluto. With Uranus at the peak of its power due to its stationary position as it changes from retrograde to direct, means events could be radical, unpredictable, rebellious, and upsetting. From mid December onward I'd expect people to be restless which may lead to reckless behavior as there is an overwhelming sense of needing to be liberated from anything that feels oppressive. This would also be a time to look for world events as we may see unexpected eruptions of violence to topple decaying power structures to restore balance. The greater the imbalance, the greater the backlash in restoring harmony. Martian energy can be constructively channeled into physical activities, so don't neglect to get exercise because of the obligations of the holidays. Also exercising caution, because accidents are common when Mars interacts with Uranus and anger and rage are to be expected with Pluto challenging the god of war. However this plays out in your life, try to see the higher purpose of these events trying to restore balance.

    Ok let's look at the daily vibrational energy for this trecena. December 4th 2013 for 1 - Lamat "la-maught" or Star: unity experienced through being grateful for abundant relationships, as we have Mercury moving into Sagittarius which ushers in an optimistic view of life, a sense of faith, and seeing the big picture. This brings three weeks when people prize freedom of expression and find censorship less bearable. This also brings a restlessness to our thoughts as we might find ourselves dreaming about exploring different cultures and longing to travel. Education is also favored under Mercury in Sagittarius, whether it's through reading, exploring new ideas, or learning about other people. Joining the Sun in the sign of the happy wanderer, they work together on similar goals with a new sense of purpose, with the Capricorn Moon in harmony with Neptune, challenged by Uranus, and merging with Pluto bringing a day that starts with having a greater sensitivity to others' emotions with possible psychic impressions for those who are open, then later people are likely to act hasty and jump to conclusions, and finally we have more intense moods rising to the surface from deep in our psyches. The 5th is 2 - Muluc "moo-luke" or Offering: duality experienced through appreciating creation, while the Moon in Capricorn is in harmony with Saturn, opposed by Jupiter, and merging with Venus, which shifts from wanting to be alone in our thoughts and feelings, to feelings of generosity, and later the Moon merging with Venus feels cheerful, warm, gregarious, and wanting to go out and socialize. December 6th is 3 - Oc "awk" or Dog: taking action through enjoying family and friends, with Mercury square Neptune which can confuse communication but also favors creative and spiritual activities. Watch out for exaggeration and boasting, and some will cross over into outright lying. Mercury is also communication, and in aspect to Neptune for a day or so we have potential for confusion about the details of mundane daily events but a wonderful potential to connect with spiritual realms through being in nature and engaging in inner work. Overall it's best to carefully formulate exactly what you wish to communicate, because if it could be misunderstood, it probably will. Daydreaming is to be expected under this influence. Not a great day for negotiations or signing contracts as these activities will not be clear under the Neptunian fog. We also have the Moon finding support from Mars, and stimulated by Mercury and Uranus. The day begins with feeling a little more confident than usual with the ability to assert ourselves in a positive manner, then later lots of chatting with friends, neighbors, coworkers... and finally pleasant yet restless feelings craving emotional excitement to do something outside the daily routine. The 7th is 4 - Chuen "shoe-in" or Monkey: stability through creating something new, with Mars moving into Libra which we talked about at the beginning of this report. Aside from what has already been said, this placement can bring fluctuations to the sex drive, as Libra is idealistic and favors esthetic involvements, where crudeness is a turn off. This may be a time where folks desire more cultivated sophisticated lovers, but also weighing the pros and cons of getting involved. The 7th the Moon in Aquarius is in harmony with the Sagittarius Sun, and challenged by Saturn, at which point it turns void of course at 7:11 am until moving into Pisces 3:34 am on the 8th. The day shifts from feelings of inner and outer equanimity, to people feeling lonely or isolated, then at 7:11 am EST the Void of Course moon warns against making major decisions or purchases until 3:34 am the following day on what is likely to be a very big holiday shopping day, this is a good time for resting, leave the shopping for another day. December 8th is 5 - Eb "eb" or Road: empowerment through serving your community, as the Pisces Moon merges with Neptune, is challenged by Mercury, and is in harmony with Pluto. The emotional energy moves from feelings of empathy for those around us, including the possibility of clairvoyance and telepathic experiences for those of us who are sensitive by nature, then our moods influencing our ability to think rationally, and finally experiencing deep emotions felt on a profound level. The 9th is 6 - Ben "ben" or Reed or Corn: being in the flow through maintaining the home, while the first quarter Moon in Pisces is challenged by the Sun, and supported by Saturn and Jupiter. The day moves from encountering challenges to our daily routines, and settling into a more sober and realistic view of life, to later people having a pleasant sense of wellbeing. December 10th is 7 - Ix "eesh" or Jaguar: reflection through enjoying nature, with Mercury trine Uranus, which is supportive of the lower and higher minds with stimulation that fosters awakening and invigorating experiences. What we lose in care and discipline in our thinking, we make up for in intuition. Rigidity and unwillingness to deviate from the day's plan make this a more difficult day. A great day to look at old problems with new eyes, perhaps seeing them in a way that was not available before with a totally fresh approach. Uranus is the higher octave planet to Mercury.  Mercury being about our personal thinking and communicating, while Uranus is about transpersonal communing with something larger than ourselves. This is a very stimulating transit which raises conscious awareness and brings more of a love for life, a desire to seize the day "Carpe Deum". New ideas come quickly with solutions for a problem that has been perplexing, somehow available under this influence, after being unavailable in the days leading up to this time period. This energy is looking for a break from routine to go out and do something out of the ordinary. It favors studying a new topic, particularly astrology, science, math, technology and the occult. Also on the 10th the Moon in harmony with Venus, opposed by Mars, and merging with Uranus, gives us a day that begins with wanting to be with friends and the people we love, then later opposed by Mars which influences people to be more excitable and irritable which can cause problems in our personal lives, and finally people feeling impulsive and acting rashly, with moods changing quickly and unexpectedly when the moon dances with Uranus. The 11th is 8 - Men "men" or Eagle: balance through seeing from a higher perspective, as Mercury challenges Chiron bringing a healing or wounding quality to our thoughts and communications, while the Aries Moon finds support from Mercury and the Sun, and is challenged by Pluto and Jupiter. The day moves from feeling in touch with our emotions and expressing them to others, to having the compulsion to act in ways that may not be good for us in the long run, then later benevolent and generous feelings for those in our immediate environment, and finally feeling a sense of inner harmony which is mirrored in the outside world. December 12th is 9 - Cib "keeb" or Wisdom: patience experienced through introspection, meditation and forgiveness, while Jupiter trines Saturn which is a beneficial gathering of two powerhouses. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer as it finds comfort and expands to meet the emotional needs of Cancer, and Saturn in Scorpio is in mutual reception with Pluto in Capricorn. This is very positive. With Jupiter in the mix this may be the time that those experiences yield a payoff from working on creative and transformative projects. This may feel like an oasis in the expansive desert of the Uranus Pluto squares. Drink deeply at this time, enjoy the gifts, prepare your camel for the long journey ahead, Jupiter brings the gifts to renew our bodies, minds, and inspiration. With Jupiter we can see the whole and Saturn allows us to also see the details, truly a time that we can see the forest and the trees. A great time to expand a business, start a new one or branch out into a new area, with the Moon challenged by Venus, and in harmony with Neptune which goes from having pleasant energy to be with friends and loved ones, to later being very sensitive to the moods of others. The 13th is 10 - Caban "kah-ban" or Earth: manifestation through gratitude for Mother Earth, with the Taurus Moon finding support from Pluto bringing out intense emotions and stimulating sensitivity, which also favors sexual relationships. December 14th is 11 - Etznab "etz-nob" or Flint: resolution through being introspective, while the Moon in Taurus is in harmony with Jupiter, opposed by Saturn, and supported by Venus. The day begins with feeling in the flow and having a sense of wholeness, while also feeling lonely and isolated, so the Jupiter Saturn energies will balance each other out, and later enjoying pleasant feelings and social interactions with Venus' influence. The 15th is 12 - Cauac "cow-ack" or Storm: understanding through recognizing the gifts in adversity, while the Gemini Moon is challenged by Neptune, supported by Mars, and stimulated by Uranus. The day's emotional wave moves from daydreams and fantasies feeling more important than reality, to Mars bringing the energy for asserting ourselves in a positive manner and standing our ground if necessary, and then later pleasant yet restless energy that desires emotional excitement. December 16th is 13 - Ahau "ah-how" or Sun: movement to the next stage through honoring the wisdom and memory of our ancestors, as the Moon in Gemini opposed by Mercury has some people experiencing a real conflict between feelings and reason and others having fruitful expressions of their deeper awareness either internally or with another.

    So no matter what energies are affecting you during this 1 Star trecena, take some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment through introspection, meditation or being with someone you love. Every day is a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a human experience.

Human Design Neutrino Forecast for December 2013

Hello my name is Scott Davis and welcome to New World Birth. By accessing this presentation you are inviting me to share this information regarding our passage through this challenging and very hopeful time. This is the "December Neutrino Forecast for 2013".

    Human Design is based on four ancient wisdom systems as a bridge to understanding our potential, to discover our path to making decisions that are correct for us as individuals: those are the traditions of Astrology, the I'Ching, the Hindu Brahmin Chakra system, and Kabalistic Tree of Life. You're probably wondering how these systems work together in HD? We start by looking at the position of the Sun, Moon, Planets, and Nodes as we would in astrology, except instead of relating them to the Zodialogical constellations and each other by the angles they make, we look at them in relation to the hexagrams of the I'Ching, which are then mapped to specific locations in the body graph. For instance at the beginning of December we have the Sun in Sagittarius also in the 9th hexagram. The shapes inside the body graph are called centers and represent the next stage in our evolution as humans from having seven chakras to having nine centers. The pathways between the centers are called channels and are from the Kabala. The black strips of paper in this diagram represent the gates activated by the Sun, Planets, and Nodes regardless if they form a channel. I'm not going to follow the moon with this demonstration, because it moves so fast that it activates three to four gates a day.

      The Sun in the 9th hexagram is mapped to an opening in an energy channel called a gate, which is the 9th gate of "Focus: the taming power of the small", located on the lower right edge of the Sacral center in a collective logic energy path called "Concentration" when connected to the 52. I have found HD to be so amazingly accurate that I use it as my primary tool when I provide readings. We have the following hanging gates or potentials at the beginning of December; the Sun in the 9th gate, the Earth in the 16th gate, North node in the 28th gate and the South Node in the 27, Mercury in the 43rd gate, Venus in the 61, Mars in the 6, Jupiter in the 53, Saturn in the 1, Uranus in the 17, Neptune in the 55, and Pluto in the 38. Obviously not every gate activation forms a channel, but this information can be very helpful if you know your own Human Design chart, because some of these transits will form channels with potentials in your personal body graph.     All December we have the Channel of Struggle and this time with Pluto and the North Node creating the definition we'll feel the struggle for months... Until January 31st 2014! This brings experiences where people struggle against overwhelming odds. It is through this archetypal "hero's journey" of fighting for our purpose that empowers others to stubbornly fight for what holds meaning for them. This is about empowerment that comes from being who we are meant to be instead of following the conditioning of our families, schools, religions and governments. As an individual channel it is said to be deaf, so folks don't hear the other and become distracted from their authentic path. To me the key to utilizing this energetic is that the struggle is worthwhile when you are fighting for something that has meaning and purpose in your life. We'll have several months to learn from our struggles or simply be conditioned by them. Follow your Human Design strategy and authority and your purpose will unfold. This reminds me of a chrysalis when the caterpillar is in the cocoon in the pupa stage, it has to struggle to emerge as a butterfly. And through this struggle it develops the mechanics that it needs for its transformed vehicle. If it is freed from the cocoon without experiencing the work of liberating itself, it will not have what it needs to survive as a butterfly. My experience of friends with this channel is that I have to make them wait when they seek my guidance. If I try to answer their questions too soon, the answer will not be accepted or applied. They also seem to need to stay in a disagreeable situation longer than most folks. Where one person might realize they have expended so much effort and perhaps gained 80% of the wisdom offered from an adverse situation or relationship, the folks I know with the channel of struggle suck the marrow out of the experience. They often put in double the effort, to extract an additional 15% of wisdom from the same type of situation. So for double the effort they increase their learning from 80% to get 95% of what could be learned from a situation or relationship. Those of us with definition in the integration channels also need to realize the 28 gate siphons that instinct for survival into their struggle. I have the 34, so I have seen my power depleted by the struggle of others. Of course I'm conscious of this and these are people I care about.

     On December 1st we have the Sun in the 9th hexagram which the Rave I'Ching describes as "Focus (The taming power of the small): potential can be fulfilled through detailed attention to all pertinent aspects". It's in the 4th line of the 9th hexagram at midnight EST, which is described as "Dedication: Regardless of the pressures or stress the disciplined attention to detail", until 8:05 am EST when it shifts to the 5th line "Faith: the trust that detailed adherence will lead to fulfillment". Also on the 1st Mercury moves from the 43 to the 14. In HD Mercury, the Messenger of the Gods, is communication, expansion of human consciousness through communications not just as words but also music. What do you need to communicate in this life? This might be experienced as a time where people are communicating more about their resources or lack thereof. The first line "money isn't everything" has Mercury in its detriment where folks might try to avoid a problem by throwing money at it. Energy alone can never be the key.

December 2nd the Sun moves into the 6th line of the 9th hexagram at 6:16 am EST. The Sun in the 9.6 is "Gratitude: the joy which comes with accepting small rewards for small victories."

December 3rd, the Sun moves from the 9th to the 5th hexagram and the Earth moves from the 16th to the 35th gate. This shift happens at 4:27 am EST with the Sun in the 5th gate of "Fixed Rhythms (Waiting): the fundamental attunement to natural rhythms. Waiting as an active state of awareness", in the 1st line "Perseverance: If the captain must, he goes down with the ship. The courage and power to maintain one's own rhythm in the face of adversity or premature cutting of one's natural flow when challenged."

On the 4th Mercury moves from 14 to the 34 and Mars moves from 6 to the 46. Again Mercury is communication. What do you need to communicate in the 34? Power! The first line is "the bully: the indiscriminate use of power" This begins a time period where folks will be discussing power. Who has it. Who doesn't. Different types of power... monetary, political, spiritual, physical, intellectual... In Human Design Mars is an extraordinary and immature energy resource, that lacks refinement, and demands that we  slowly refine the energy to maturity over time by following our strategy and authority. Mars energy is subject to outbursts, in the 46 "Pushing Upward" it is detrimented in both the 2nd and 3rd lines. Overall this brings more energy to our determination and dedication. The Sun moves into the 2nd line of the 5th hexagram on the 4th at 2:37 am EST which is keynoted as "Inner peace: The ability to ignore the temptation  to take premature action. The power to be comfortable with one's own rhythm or the drive for power that is constrained by the fixed rhythm."

December 5th we have the Sun in the 5th hexagram in the 3rd line at 00:47 am EST which is "Compulsiveness: The fear engendered by the sense of hopelessness resulting in unnecessary stress and activity". Then later on the 5th the Sun moves into the 4th line of the 5 at 10:57 pm EST, where the Sun is detrimented, which is described as "The hunter: waiting as a guarantee of survival, detrimented: vanity that denies one's own rhythms with predictable costs and threatens survival".

On the 6th the Sun moves into the 5th line of the 5th hexagram at 9:06 pm EST. The Sun in the 5.5 is "Joy: waiting as an aspect to enlightenment. The power to be calm and find one's place in the flow or to become disillusioned into dismissing joy and waiting to fail."

On the 7th the Sun moves into the 6th line of the 5th hexagram at 7:15 pm EST. The Sun in the 5.6 is "Yielding: waiting is never free from pressure, physical or mental and often punctuated by the unexpected. The growth in awareness that comes with bending to the universal flow."

On the 8th Mercury moves from 34 to the 9 to expand human consciousness through communications with focus and concentration. In the first line it's "Sensibility: a balanced and responsible approach to problem solving." Also on the 8th the Sun moves from the 5th to the 26th hexagram and the Earth moves from the 35th to the 45th gate. This shift happens at 5:24 pm EST with the Sun in the 26th gate of "The Egoist (The taming power of the great); The maximization of the power of memory applied to the nurturing of continuity", in the 1st line "A bird in hand: The ego that transcends limitation through dreaming or engages in foolhardy risk taking due to the dissatisfaction of the ego."

On the 9th Venus moves from 61 to the 60. In HD, Venus is very powerful and deeply misunderstood. It brings morality, natural law in which we deal with the other and the consequences of the world around us. What disturbs you at a moral level? The moral dilemma you're going to work with in your life. If you do not act with moral clarity, Venus can be nasty in its retribution. The 60 is acceptance of limitation. Venus is exalted in the first line of "acceptance: the ability to maintain inner harmony when confronted by external limitation." Venus will get as far as the third line before it turns retrograde on December 21st. The Sun moves into the 2nd line of the 26th hexagram on the 9th at 3:33 pm EST. The Sun is exalted in the 26.2 which is keynoted as "The lessons of history: the power of the ego to mature through experience."

December 10th we have the Sun in the 26th hexagram in the 3rd line at 1:42 pm EST. Where the Sun is both exalted and detrimented, which is "Influence: the ability, once prepared to gather support. The authority to focus communal effort, but can also underestimate potential challenges while gathering support".

The 11th the Sun moves into the 4th line of the 26th hexagram at 11:50 am EST, where it is detrimented, which is described as "Censorship: The alteration of memory through elimination. The power of the ego through selective memory."

On the 12th Mercury moves from 9 to the 5 to emphasize communications about being  in the natural rhythm of life through waiting. On the 12th Sun moves into the 5th line of the 26th hexagram at 9:58 am EST. The Sun in the 26.5 is "Adaptability: Maximum potential to attract others through the power of the memory or a resistance and dissatisfaction when basic changes to nature are necessary, resistance to adaptation."

The 13th of December the Sun moves into the 6th line of the 26th hexagram at 8:06 am EST. The Sun is exalted in the 26.6 which is "Authority: The natural attainment of influence justified by the correctness of actions. The embodiment of reason and purpose that passes the test of time."

On the 14th the Sun moves from the 26th to the 11th hexagram and the Earth moves from the 45th to the 12th gate. This shift happens at 6:14 am EST with the Sun in the 11th gate of "Ideas (peace): A harmonic condition in the individual or society that permits assessment before renewed action", in the 1st line "Attunement: the serendipity of being in the right place at the right time. The gift of finding those who will value your ideas, or the sense that no one will value them."

On the 15th Mercury moves from the 5 to the 26, and Mars moves from the 46 to the 18. Mercury in the gate of the egoist, the trickster, the taming power of the great. "The maximization of the power of memory applied to nurturing of continuity." I suspect folks will be better at selling their ideas, wares, or beliefs through communications where the facts might get stretched in a way to entice the buyer. Mars in the 18th gate of correction, brings extraordinary and immature energy to "work on what has been spoilt". In the first line we have "conservatism: the adherence to traditional patterns despite and/or in spite of changing circumstances." Before moving into the 48th gate on the 27th Mars is exalted in the 18.6 of Buddhahood: the potential of the perfected form through correction." This may be a time period where there are outbursts from some and a slow refinement of the energy from others, regarding a correction that needs to be implemented for the good of the collective. The Sun moves into the 2nd line of the 11th hexagram on the 15th at 4:22 am EST. The Sun in the 11.2 is keynoted as "Rigour: the recognition that without vigilance and risk, peace can lead to stagnation and collapse. Boredom overcome through imagination or provoking ideas to escape boredom."

December 16th Saturn moves from the 1 to the 43 and the Sun in the 11th hexagram moves into the 3rd line at 2:29 am EST which is "The realist: the acknowledgment that peace is transitory. The realization that ideas come and go or the pleasure of ideas that have no real application." Saturn moving from 1 to the 43 is interesting. Ra described Saturn as "Yin in Yang clothing". Saturn is the judge. This is the place of vulnerability, where we deal with the consequences of our actions.  The 43 is Insight. It's about achievement being maintained after a new order is fairly established. It also has the tendency to blurt out information without being invited. So not only are we more likely to come off as freaks by sharing our "genius thinking" when it is not asked for, we are also more likely to be punished for doing so. Strategy and authority are the best way to avoid paying the Saturnian price.

On the 17th the Sun moves into the 4th line of the 11th hexagram at 00:36 am EST, where the Sun is detrimented, which is described as "The teacher: the ability to express the essential nature of peace. The Guru, whose most valued wisdom is intentionally limited to a few." Then later on the 17th the Sun moves into the 5th line of the 11th hexagram at 10:43 pm EST. The Sun in the 11.5 is keynoted as "The philanthropist: motiveless nurturing of the disenfranchised to ensure harmony or giving as a form of defense and out of a sense of insecurity."

The 18th has the Sun moving into the 6th line of the 11th hexagram at 8:50 pm EST. The Sun in the 11.6 is keynoted as "Adaptability: the inner balance to accept transition. The realization that ideas lead to change and are changeable, and knowing what ideas are of value in any situation."

On the 19th Mercury moving from the 26 to the 11. In HD Mercury, the Messenger of the Gods, is communication, expansion of human consciousness through communication not just as words but also music. What do you need to communicate in this life? The 11 is Peace, the gate of "Ideas: a harmonic condition in the individual or society that permits assessment before action is renewed." People will probably be communicating about their experiences conceptually. The dialogue comes from memory in the form of ideas, which are not necessarily facts. Also on the 19th, we have the Sun moving from the 11th to the 10th hexagram and the Earth moves from the 12th to the 15th gate. This shift happens at 6:56 pm EST with the Sun in the 10th gate of "The behavior of the self (treading): the underlying code of behavior which ensures successful interaction despite circumstances", and exalted in 1st line "Modesty: An innate sense to know and accept one's place and how to act despite circumstances. A valued sense of purpose no matter what the position."

On the 20th of December the Sun moves into the 2nd line of the 10th hexagram at 5:02 pm EST. The Sun in the 10.2 is keynoted as "The hermit: the successful sidestepping of behavioral requirements through isolation. Isolation to preserve independent behavior in the face of conditioning."

December 21st the Sun then moves into the 3rd line of the 10th hexagram at 3:08 pm EST which is "The martyr: the futile rejection of standards based on a just awareness. Behavior as a way to attract attention and is ultimately challenged by others."

The 22nd we have the Sun move into the 4th line of the 10th hexagram at 1:14 pm EST, which is described as "The opportunist: the acceptance of norms until a successful transformation can be engendered. Maintaining of behavioral patterns until the right moment and opportunity for transformation or altering one's behavior in order to take advantage of opportunities."

23rd Mercury moves from 11 to the 10. Again Mercury is communication. What needs to be communicated in this 10? Behavior! This is "Treading: the underlying code of behavior which ensures successful interaction despite circumstances." In the integration channels this will bring an increase in communication about survival, both physically and of integrity, through behavior. The Sun moves into the 5th line of the 10th hexagram at 11:20 am EST on December 23rd. The Sun in the 10.5 is keynoted as "The heretic: direct and overt challenge to the norms. Principled behavior which directly challenges tradition, which may eventually be punished."

The 24th has the Sun moving into the 6th line of the 10th hexagram at 9:25 am EST. The Sun in the 10.6 is keynoted as "The role model: the perfect expression of norms through action rather than words or the hypocrite where the behavior is restricted to words rather than actions, 'do as I say, not as I do'."

The 25th we have the Sun moving from the 10th to the 58th hexagram and the Earth moves from the 15th to the 52nd gate. This shift happens at 7:30 am EST with the Sun in the 58th gate of "Aliveness (the joyous): stimulation is the key to joy", in the 1st line "Love of life: Alone or shared with others, profound inner realization is the key for a joyous harmony with the process of being." With the Sun in the 58 and Mars in the 18, we have the Channel of Judgment which is the design of Insatiability, which will be with us until the 27th, bringing us the pressure to offer constructive criticism. This conditioning force works best if it is invited and its purpose is not personal but for the good of the collective. This can influence us to become perfectionists with an insatiability to make improvements. Unfortunately most people will not be aware of this influence and how best to apply it to their lives, so we'll see a lot of folks meeting resistance as they try to change their family and friends with little success, which leads to a sense of dissatisfaction, after all true perfection does not exist, only ascending levels of mastery.

On the 26th Mercury moves from the 10 to the 58, where it joins the Sun, to expand human consciousness through stimulating communications that lead to joy. Mercury in the gate of "Aliveness" in the first line the "Love of life" through the joyous harmony with the process of being. Health and wellbeing are likely to be topics of discussion. The Sun moves into the 2nd line of the 58th hexagram on the 26th at 5:35 am EST. The Sun in the 58.2 is keynoted as "Perversion: stimulation that afflicts oneself and others by promoting degeneracy and reducing joy to indulgency and decadence."

Mars moves from the 18 to the 48 on the 27th. Mars in the gate of "Depth (the well): the necessary and qualitative foundation that is a prerequisite to establish the common good" brings extraordinary and immature energy resource in the form of a store of vital information as a pattern. It is in its detriment in the first line of "Insignificance: an ego tendency to apply energy to trivial considerations." While in the 48, Mars brings energy for practice, refinement that matures over time by following your strategy and authority, through the arts, but also through the recognition of patterns to be shared with the collective. December 27th the Sun then moves into the 3rd line of the 58th hexagram at 3:40 am EST which is "Electricity: the energy for aliveness based on independent stimulation or is dependent on others."

The 28th we have the Sun move into the 4th line of the 58th hexagram at 1:45 am EST, where it is exalted, which is described as "Focusing: a natural specialization that when confronted with multiplicity of stimulations will have no inner difficulty in focusing on the appropriate influence." Then later on the 17th the Sun moves into the 5th line of the 58th hexagram at 11:49 pm EST. The Sun in its detriment in the 58.5 is keynoted as "Defense: the assumption that the best defense is a good offense, that might allow strength of character to enjoy questionable stimulus without succumbing to it."

The 29th has the Sun moving into the 6th line of the 58th hexagram at 9:53 pm EST. The Sun is detrimented in the 58.6 and keynoted as "Carried away: when basic intelligence is effectively stimulated its natural desire is for attunement will lead it to indentify so strongly with the stimulation that it is at risk of losing its identity."

30th Mercury moves from 58th to the 38th, where it joins Pluto. Mercury in the gate of the fighter brings an expansion of human consciousness through communications regarding the pressure to fight for what holds purpose in our lives. I'd expect people will be expressing their struggle from a place of empowerment or disempowerment. Folks may also seem stubborn in their discourse, and deaf to opposing viewpoints. The Sun also joins Mercury in moving from the 58th to the 38th hexagram and the Earth moves from the 52nd to the 39th gate. The Sun Earth shift happens at 7:57 pm EST with the Sun in the 38th gate of "The fighter (opposition): the ability to preserve individual integrity through opposition to detrimental forces", in the 1st line "Qualification: tempering opposition based on circumstances. The psychic gift of knowing when and how to fight or the drive to fight as a general rule." The Earth in the 39 connecting with Neptune in the 55 brings the Channel of Emoting, until January 5th, which will be a time period when people feel pressure in the form of an emotional wave. The best way to deal with this level of sensitivity is to appreciate the lows as well as the highs. Recognizing that it is all part of our human experience and is temporary for those of us who don't have this channel in our birth charts. This can bring lessons that yield wisdom as long as we can stay present in moving from hope to despair and back to hope in this cycle. We can tap into great creativity by fueling our melancholy or feeling "blue" into some form of artistic expression. This brings deeply romantic and acoustic sensitivity so listening to music or talking with a loved one is favored.

The Sun moves into the 2nd line of the 38th hexagram on the 31st at 6:01 pm EST. The Sun is exalted in the 38.2 and keynoted as "Politeness: opposition that does not transgress normal codes of behavior. The value of discretion."

    So no matter what energies are conditioning you during December, take some time to be in the flow of the planet by being in nature, watching a sunrise or sunset, communing with the stars, being conscious of the moment through introspection, meditation or being truly present with someone you love. Every day is a blessing no matter what dramas beckon to distract us. We are all giving the performance of a life time on this world stage, just take some time to observe the play as well as act your part. Remember you are a spiritual being having a human experience.
